I'm so impressed with the fact she can trim my cat's claws (given it's a struggle for me *and* my veterinarian's staff!) - let alone bathe him! She just has an amazing calming effect on cats. I've been thrilled for over a year - but now she's gone beyond and may have saved my dog's life!! She was the first to notice one of my dog's nipples looked and felt a bit different from the others. I showed my vet, who wasn't overly concerned. However, Jillian continued to voice her concern and based on that we did decide to remove and do a biopsy. Well, it was malignant! I'm SO glad Jillian urged us to take a closer look, and so we hopefully caught it early.

For those of you that consider your dog part of the family please read this I have never in my life…read morewritten a bad review but this one I have to do, hear me out and you be the judge. I have left my dog here many times, on the surface they have always appeared to be nice and taken care of my dog. This is an establishment that likes to know when you're going to drop off and when you're going to pick up, I completely understand that and respect it, so when I came to the kennel to pick my dog up at 3:30, because when asked I specifically said 3:30 because that's the soonest I could be there after work. There was no mention of another time. I arrived promptly at 3:30 only to find the kennel closed, so I knocked and knocked and knocked and shouted "hello is anybody there I'm here to pick up my dog" the place was dark and said closed. I was concerned and did not know what to do. The owners house is just up the hill, I decided to go and knock on the door. When she answered she said, in a very angry voice, "what are you doing here, how dare you come to my personal residence" I apologized and said I'm here to pick up my dog she said "we are closed" and I said "I told you I would be here at 3:30" she said "no you did not" I said "yes I did that's when I get off work" she said "we're closed, I told you to come at 4:10" and I said "I'm sorry you didn't, I wouldn't have come if you said any other time" she said "you better stop talking now just give me a minute I will meet you down at the kennel" so I walked down to the kennel and when she came walking up I apologized again and she said "don't talk to me, I am entitled to a break you shouldn't be here" I agreed and apologized again literally with tears in my eyes I tried to tell her again that no other time was told to me, she said "you better just stop talking right now". Before I left I said "listen I'm sorry, there was obviously some miscommunication and I'm sorry to interrupt you" she said "I don't think you are"!! I am here to tell you I am not a liar and I absolutely do not take advantage of people. She did not even want to try to work this out or accept the chance there was any miscommunication. She may have had a really bad day or a bad week but a person that talks to you like that I think she just might miss handle the animals as well. She lost a repeat customer and all recommendations. I went home and checked the time, I keep very good notes, It said drop off at 4:30 and pick up at 3:30!! There was no miscommunication on my part.

I was NOT up to the task, however. The only groomer I considered was Tiffanie at Pauly's Paw Spa. I knew of her as a great lover of animals when she hired me for some dog training. I researched her grooming company from Facebook reviews. I made the best possible choice! My dog not only looked gorgeous and clean but smelled like a freshly bathed dog for two weeks! Amazing really, even after he played with our other dog he smelled good for such a long time. Thank you Tiffanie!

We took our 5 yr old dog to see Tiffanie for reiki as he lost his brother and was having terrible…read moresadness and anxiety. We had tried a pet communicator but his anxiety was still very high. After seeing Tiffanie we noticed an immediate improvement in his demeanor and stress level. He seemed more confident. Carefree as a pup should. His separation anxiety seemed to be less than half and we felt more at ease leaving him alone. He is now very confident after only 2 sessions and we can leave him alone without worrying he is going to cry or howl alone. We see him now resting and sleeping when he is alone that he has never done till now since his brother passed. Thank you for releasing that sadness and anxiety from him and his ancestors, he is so much happier and relaxed now!!! She is amazing and if you are wondering if it will work, give it a try. What is there to lose?

Our dog is 14 years old, and super attached to me. we worried about leaving him, but we shouldn't have - he was right at home with the staff at PPC! He had lots of time to run around with other dogs, but also appreciated the attention and cuddles from staff members. My favorite part was the nightly report with photo about his day. I visited this store over the weekend, really looking forward to adopting a bird. Before driving an…read morehour, I called ahead to confirm if they had birds for adoption or if it was just a supply store, as I was specifically interested in that. The guy I spoke with said yes, they do have birds for adoption, but didn't clarify much beyond that. I assumed it would be like a Petco-style place where you can meet and adopt birds. When I arrived, I was shocked by how dusty the store was and how poorly maintained the cages looked. The birds' habitats seemed depressing and unsuitable -- definitely not the kind of environment where birds should live. When I asked about adopting a bird, I was told flat out, "THEY ARE NOT FOR ADOPTION." I was confused because didn't I call to ask that? And they said yes? Then I asked, "Neither of them?" He said only two types of birds were actually available for adoption, and those were the same birds you can find at Petco. If I had known this, I wouldn't have driven an hour I was specifically interested in African Grey parrots, which they had but not for adoption and since they are not available at Petco, I thought they would have one there for adoption. We were looking at the birds and we were never told "if you are interested in adopting these are available" which I would've appreciated. I decided to go to Petco after which is 5 min away from my house! and got a jenday conure bird there. Anyway, I ended up buying some sunflower seeds for a bird I already have at home, but he wouldn't eat them, which was weird because those are his favorite. It turned out the bag was expired, which explains why. Overall, this place felt really poorly managed, especially regarding the birds' living conditions. They desperately need better habitats that allow the birds space to stretch their wings and have a more natural, healthy environment. I do not recommend this place.
