Cloud had a tough time with his grooming and bath at first, but with care and patience he now does very well. Cloud is now 3 years old and we would not think of taking him anywhere else for day care, grooming or boarding. There have been times of emergency and RDR has gone above and beyond making sure we had nothing to worry about when my husband and myself ended up in the hospital. RDR took such good care of Cloud. He just loves it there and gets so excited when we pull up. I think if he ever got lost he would find RDR before he would find home!

First you have to bring your dog in for a daytime stay, then you have to come back for an overnight stay. And the meet and greet is good for only one year, so you have to come back and do it all over again for the same dog, which is absurd.

I'm so impressed with the fact she can trim my cat's claws (given it's a struggle for me *and* my veterinarian's staff!) - let alone bathe him! She just has an amazing calming effect on cats. I've been thrilled for over a year - but now she's gone beyond and may have saved my dog's life!! She was the first to notice one of my dog's nipples looked and felt a bit different from the others. I showed my vet, who wasn't overly concerned. However, Jillian continued to voice her concern and based on that we did decide to remove and do a biopsy. Well, it was malignant! I'm SO glad Jillian urged us to take a closer look, and so we hopefully caught it early.

A few days later, Aloha responded with a text message saying my request was approved, and that someone would reach out to me to schedule. Nobody did. So we took our dogs elsewhere. Today, a lovely young lady arrived in the Aloha grooming van. I felt so bad for her, having to explain that we were never notified, and that we'd already sought services elsewhere. She was so polite and apologetic. She also said, "This happens a lot." Which tells me all I need to know. To the owner: Seriously, do better! You can't just show up on a random Saturday and expect your customers to adjust to your schedule. You have to contact and CONFIRM with your customers any appointments. You could have saved yourself the cost, and your employee the embarrassment, with simple communication effort. Business is intentional, not a hobby to do casually. Figure out how to communicate better before your business ends up in the toilet. Or close down now and spare us all from the effects of your inability to provide basic customer service. Sad that I have to write this, but others need to know this happened, and happens often.

It was great seeing someone actually interacting with our cats instead of just feeding them and leaving. One of the vets operated on my dog saving his foot. His picture is below. Cancer removed. I even told people back in Hawaii how great this place is for saving him. But now they are down to one vet. The others have left - including the one who operated on my dog. Today I went to pick up a prescription for my dog which I had paid for last month. But I lost it. So I went to pay for another (I know I lost it. Totally my fault). She wouldn't give me another unless I brought my dog in AGAIN to be checked. What?! seriously for a tube of Animax. Fishing for money. I call BS on that. And they started this new BS where they won't renew a script for costco over the phone. You have to go get the script from them. Well I was in there today ro supposidely pick up another tube of animax and the paper handed to me was not for the 1 year like my script is written for but for one month supply. She wouldn't write it for a year unless I bring all three back in for a check up. for flippin bravecto?! Come on. I call BS. She's just fishing for money. Well Appletree cove. You are fired. There are plenty of good vets in the area that don't play these games.
