Boxer's regrettably are short lived, Skeeter made it to 8 just as his predecessor, Rocky. Gus, is boxer #3 and he too started here as a pup and calls this his second home! We don't travel like we used to, but the kennel's owner's and staff treat the animals like their own. I have never had to encourage anyone of our dog's into the reception area...and even though it hurts my feelings, they nearly charge into their kennel area pulling a staff member along at the end of their lead. No sentiment for us from the dogs. They pay strict attention to dietary concerns, vaccinations and will administer medications if needed. Grooming is available and done with the same care as kenneling. There's a reason this establishment is repeatedly voted Kitsap County's Best. THEY ARE!

She seemed really taken with my dog's abilities, at such a young age, and almost had an air of jealousy towards her. I would never work with such a know-it-all and if I see her at the park, again, I will pick my puppy up and leave. She tried to pick up my puppy, without asking, and my puppy wiggled out of her arms...well, Poppy, I can pick her up just fine. Please don't come near me, or MY dog. Thanks!

I have never wanted to give more stars than I have for Cascade Canine…read more Prepare yourself for some hyperbolic but entirely accurate praise...her service has changed our life! We always loved our little Mini Schnauzer but she was a difficult pooch. We are to blame of course but we couldn't fix the behaviors. She was aggressive toward dogs and strangers and had zero ideas how to listen to commands. We loved her but few others did. :( Sarah met us and got know us and our dog and within the hour she had complete understanding of what caused our bad behaviors. She helped us to understand how a dog thinks and how it impacts their behavior in situations. We then handed over our sweet dog for two weeks to Sarah (she needed extra extra) and when we got her back it was a literal and figurative and actual miracle. She was this obedient, calm, and in control dog. We met her at a park and she was around humans and dogs and didn't lose her shit even once. She came, sat, stayed on command. And better yet Sarah showed us how to do magic too. We have had our dog back for a few weeks since the spa treatment and she is getting better and better each day. No backsliding at all. Next step is to start taking her to the office with me. It was worth every nickel. It has completely impacted our lives in a positive way. So thank you Sarah. You ROCK! If you have come to this page it is because you are like we were with a dog you love that needs help (you are the one who needs the help btw). You are stressed out and have zero clues how to fix it.
