She was incredibly thorough with the details and went way out of her way to make sure my chickens were safely put up for the night, every night, when our automatic chicken door timer was malfunctioning. I NEVER would have gotten that kind of courtesy if I'd hired some non-professional pet sitter off of Care.com, which I considered. And I'm pretty sure she even hosed the patio of chicken poop (and neatly coiled the hose) even though I didn't ask her to do that. I've worked in the pet sitting business myself years back, so when Loretta immediately contacted me and then came by to meet the cats, I was wary to see what we were up against. I shouldn't have had even the slightest concern! Loretta is both warm and personable, asks a ton of questions so she knew what we wanted, and got to know each of our kitties. They took to her right away (even the skittish one!) and I felt comfortable after her first "get to know you" visit. I knew our cats and fish were in excellent hands. She came daily, on schedule, spent time with the cats while we were away. She even tidied up around the house and kept them entertained! We got updates via text how they were doing, and she was always quick to respond if I contacted her. So positive and upbeat. We simply adore her and cannot recommend this service highly enough! I know that from here on out, Loretta will be our go-to if we have to go out of town because she's just fantastic with the animals and an all around fabulous lady. I've never felt *so* comfortable being away from home simply because I knew they were in amazing company. I wish I could give 10 stars, but 5 will have to do. I asked them about it through text messages while on vacation, and they said the app was having "issues". We have 3 cats who need to eat twice a day (one of which requires medication twice daily). They were entering our home through our garage that keeps a log of the date/time it is opened/closed. When we got home from vacation, we checked our logs and found that what was showing on the pet app was accurate. They hadn't shown up for two visits and came extremely late for others. When we confronted them, they denied it and said they had come twice a day every day. Since our cats were alive and appeared fine, we didn't push it. However, I know they did not show up for a couple of visits which is completely irresponsible, unacceptable, and negligent. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

She literally looks like she shed 10 lbs of coat. They gave her a cute bandana and everything! We were in Edmonds and out of blue searched for dog grooming and landed me Hippy Hounds and it's 7 mins drive from us! I called to see if we can get in for shampoo and tidy up. I was told we will be on the waitlist for next day. Sure enough. Sat morning around 9:30 was told to come in if we still want to have it done. YES! We got in and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The place were so busy with dogs been groomed and there were also self wash area. It was well orchestrated business. I liked Elon came out all fresh and soft. I know washing and grooming dogs are not easy and simple which I've done it on Elon for few years which took me all day and we both ended up exhausted. I appreciate groomers knows what they are doing and keep the dogs happy. I like how Elon looks after his grooming and Elon knows he looks great too lol. Next time we are back in Edmonds will come visit Hippy Hounds again. Thank you for accommodating us on such short notice!
