We hired My Housekeepers to do a move out clean after living in a condo for 4 years. As you can imagine, that's a fair amount of wear and tear - and just plain - "nope never dusted that" moments after everything was moved out. Andy and his team did an AMAZING job!!! I've had a very mixed experience with this service. I'm still discovering things in my new (but old) house that they *did not* clean after having hired them for a deep "move-in cleaning" appointment. The insides of drawers, floors, and the bottoms of closets were all still grungy after they left, something I realized only as I began trying to put things away. This has added hours of work into an already massive move-in project. On the surface, the place was dust free and the windows looked sharp, but everything else was still grimed and I don't even think they used clean mops for the floors (it took me three damp Swifters just to fix one room - they were all black with dirt). I'd first realized the floors weren't right initially and contacted Andy to make him aware of the problem and to make sure that the move-out service I had scheduled the next week for my old place would go much better. To their credit, they did an *exceptional* job on my old place. So if you hire them, be *very* explicit about what you want done - it's not enough to say "please clean the bath," you have to explain in depth if you want the insides of drawers, cabinets, closets, etc. done. I thought requesting a deep move-in cleaning was self-explanatory, but it wasn't. I don't enjoy micromanaging people, especially for how much this costs, so this service probably isn't for me again. But they are capable of doing excellent work. read more

I also bought a coupon for 2 hours, 2 staff (4 hours total). Andy was a pleasure to work out schedules on email with. I hadn't had my house professionally cleaned since January (and had a bi-weekly cleaner for 6 years until then). The house overall was "picked up" and I had kept up with basic cleaning and sweeping- but the job that Andy and his partner did was just amazing. The kitchen sparkled like I hadn't seen it in YEARS (stainless steal looked like it was in the Best Buy showroom, and my black sink looked brand new- hadn't seen it look that shiny in years!). The hardwood floors looked great, they moved all of the furniture and did all the baseboards (something that is often forgotten or "cheated"). They even stayed a little extra over the 2 hours. The bathroom tub looked like I had just had it refaced- I want to know what chemical they used, wow! They brought all of their own supplies and I can see they work VERY hard. Their rates are a little higher than I have paid in the past (but quality wise, I think they work harder and smarter!), and I am hoping to work with them again, as they really seem to care and have a pride in their work (despite the "Groupon type deal, which I assume they take a loss on).
