Would give 0 stars if I could. Worst housekeepers I've ever used, beware!!! Incredibly rude service, the women didn't look at us when we were speaking to them, never cracked a smile, but glared at us plenty. Streaks over all the counters and mirrors, small piles of dirt and dust gathered but not swept or vacuumed up. Did a quick, hasty job and charged us 3x what they should have. Once complete, I saw them zip their car out onto the street and nearly hit a passing car, then aggressively cut in front of them. Terrible cleaners and people. Avoid! read more

Very poor quality cleaning and expensive in that. Post cleaning, found unclean spots/hair in multiple places. Scheduling was a mess, super loud crew and they no showed me once. Upon complaining about unclean spots, they cancelled their service, very unprofessional. Owner Tia is super rude, never returns calls nor responds, ghosts often Please please go elsewhere. I am surprised that they have good reviews. read more

I decided to book Excellence in Housekeeping when I became very busy with my career, they were a recommendation from a neighbor in my building and the ONLY cleaning company that responded to my inquiry at the time. I loved coming home to a fresh smelling home, having the bed made up, and they always did a thorough job around the baseboards which was much appreciated, plus the little folds on the toilet paper was to die for. The convenience was also something I appreciated, it was easy to communicate with the team and make changes as needed. I had constant communication with Tia and she always made me feel 100% taken care of. I felt the pricing for the size of my home was pretty reasonable and overall had a pleasant experience hiring them to service my cleaning needs. Thank you Excellence in Housekeeping! read more

Late, expensive, and poor quality $350 to clean an empty 1b/1b apartment, that was already relatively clean. Post cleaning, found hair in drawers and some debris on kitchen range top. Scheduling was a mess, and they no showed me once. Please go elsewhere. I'm amazed they even have good reviews. Upon complaining about scheduling, they reduced my price by 1/3, which I do not feel made up for the infraction. At least 1/2 should have been deducted. read more

I needed a cleaning service to help get our house ready to put on the market. I had heard about Excellence in Housekeeping around the Seattle area so I decided to give them a shot! I needed a very specific date due to needing to get our house on the market ASAP and the manager Nikki was able to move their schedule around to accommodate - they were even willing to drive out to my house in Lynnwood! Right off the bat this was amazing because most businesses these days just DON'T go above and beyond. The crew did everything I ask and more! When I came home, my ovens looked like they had never never been used! The stains on the bathtub calking that I could NEVER get clean not matter how hard I scrubbed where completely white! Every inch of my house was spotless. They even cleaned my fireplace and washed the outside of the windows. I now feel so good about having potential buyers come walk through the house to preview! Renee, Nikki and the rest of the crew at Excellence in Housekeeping have taken so much work off my shoulders and I am so grateful! I will recommend them over and over again! read more

The Excellence in Housekeeping team is hands-down the best in Seattle. Every time they clean our home it sparkles. We just love coming home on the days they have cleaned as it is so much more relaxing. They are so easy to work with and keep in touch with us to make sure everything is better than we expected. We have used many cleaning services over the years and Renee and her team are the tops! read more

I have worked with Excellence for a year and have had a wonderful experience with this service. Firstly, the team was always on time and ready to get started on the various tasks which would differ each week. Secondly, the team is extremely detailed orientated, and thirdly, they the team would go out of their way to clean all my plants! I would highly recommend this service! read more

I hate writing reviews like this, but after nearly 5 months of using Excellence in House Keeping for my place in downtown Seattle, I have reached the end. The condo is only 800 square feet, and yet, it never felt clean, even after repeated complaints. I'm certain one reason my place was not cleaned was the couple of times I returned home to get paperwork or something else I needed and would find several of the cleaners (yes, they send a team of at least 4) on their cell phones when I walked in unexpectedly. I respectfully complained multiple times that my place was not cleaned after their visits. The owner gave excuses, but nothing changed. Finally, after their last visit, I pulled out the vacuum cleaner and cleaned up TWO BAGS worth of dust and debris- all this AFTER they completed their cleaning. I wish Renee, the owner, were more attentive to her staff and especially to the complaints of her customers. So that's the dirt on a dirty house cleaning service. read more

This company is borderline criminal. Apparently it takes 2 housekeepers 7.25 hours to clean 800 square feet. When you first book an initial appointment the owner Renee give you a quote of $35 an hour. Seems reasonable! I've had several cleaners come to clean my house, and most take 1.5 - 2 hours total with one person so I thought this would be a reasonable price for a home cleaning. Boy was I mistaken. When I got the bill I could not believe how many hours I was being billed for. How is it possible that it takes this long to clean if the workers are moving at a reasonable pace? Oh, I should also mention that the housecleaners broke my blinds and left the shower head nozzle tilted towards the ceiling which resulted in flooding my bathroom when I went to take a shower. I will not use them again! read more

Their name says it all - Excellence In Housekeeping. I know personally their services are stellar. The staff is always so pleasant and punctual. read more

Renee and her staff have been maintaining our residence in the Insignia Towers in seattle since 2015. They are efficient, cheerful and thorough. They have a good relationship with our concierge staff and are trustworthy with entering our units without our presence. I highly recommend them! read more

Cleaners are courteous and professional. Arrived on time, did a thorough deep clean of our bathroom within one hour. Easy scheduling, too! :) read more

Excellence in housekeeping did an amazing job at our condo in Seattle. Every time I had my place cleaned I would come home so happy. I scheduled a move out cleaning and they did such a detailed job I couldnt find anything that needed to be done. Brianna has been so prompt in responding to my messages and making sure nothing gets missed. I strongly recommend the EIH team. read more

I've been using Excellence in Housekeeping for over 5 years. They are extremely helpful in coordinating our busy schedule and accommodating with working around our kids always changing nap times. The cleaning teams are always very friendly and do an excellent job. They are in and out of the house in under an hour. I'm very particular and they do a very detailed job! Love coming home to a spotless house! read more

Feels great coming home to a clean home that's smells great. Excellence in Housekeeping even took care of laundering our towels and bedding while we were away. This was easy to arrange and the office manager explained the service in detail, and even had us fill out a special list so we knew what to expect and our specific needs would be addressed. This is only the second cleaning company we have used, but they have already far exceeded the last. I don't usually write reviews but we were so pleased with our experience so far that we felt the need to share. Thank you! read more

Excellence in Housekeeping is amaze-ing! They do a wonderful job and clean areas in my home most wouldn't even think would need cleaning. They are reasonably priced and I highly recommend them. read more

I'm a fan of Excellence in Housekeeping. We've been using them for years to clean our home weekly in Queen Anne. The team is always on time, reliable, and quite pleasant. They're very detailed and take into account the small stuff (i.e., little things that bug you -- for me, it's toilet seats not being up), and also, very important to me, they keep your pets in mind while they're cleaning. And, on the rare occasion you do run into an issue, Renee will correct it. That's good service. read more

EIH do a great job and are very responsive and willing to do on call (additional out of usual schedule) cleanings at a moment's notice. I've been very happy with them since I started using them a year ago. read more

I've been using Excellence in Housekeeping for a little over a year now and have been happy--for the most part. For the first few months they were really great, but then service started to really drop off. We had a few issues, and I was about to cancel service altogether, but Renee reached out and really wanted to make it right for me. She offered a follow-up cleaning free of charge to see if they could get back up to my standards. They absolutely did and I'm happy with the service now. This is a 4 star and not a 5 b/c I believe that when you're paying for a service like this that you shouldn't ever have to complain to ensure that you receive the best possible service. read more

So glad that I could welcome the crew after months of COVID. Love that the crew that comes always know what to do and how I like things done. I am a type A and they meet my standards every time. I joked that I had to wear sun glasses in my bathroom after they finished cleaning; it was so bright and sparkling. Great job for a reasonable price and they come every other week to clean my 2-bedroom apartment. read more

I've never used this company for cleaning services, but I have encountered the crazy lady that drives their maroon minivan a few times in/around downtown. As a commuter, I totally understand getting/dealing with bouts of occasional road rage, especially in Seattle. But this woman takes it to a whole new level. I was scared, and her rage wasn't even directed at me. She was weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating, cutting people off, and double-fisted flipping people the bird. Double-fisted! While on the freeway! I would be ashamed to have that woman as an employee driving around in MY vehicle, representing MY company. Shameful. read more

I love these guys. They adapt to your schedule and are super efficient. They come in groups of 2 usually and get your house shining in no time. I also ask them to help with laundry, which for me is a game changer. I had a lot of issues in the past finding people how would be open to help with folding and ironing some shirts and pants here and there. EHK is willing to help in whatever my household needs are. Super reliable. Thank you! read more

I have been using Excellence in Housekeeping for several years in my condo and am very satisfied with the service! They work as a team which takes less time, but they are very thorough and do an excellent job. You get a list of what is included so you know what to expect. When I am out of town and not as much to do they will do extra things I request. I feel very comfortable that my belongings are safe. The crew is always pleasant to have around if I stay home, they are all really sweet. It has become a very professional business but I think Rene tries to keep it personal too and really cares that we are satisfied. I have and do highly recommend them. read more

Great small cleaning company for residential homes! I am a property manager, so I've dealt with the good and the bad on the cleaning company side of things. I must say I'm impressed with the attention to detail of the cleaners. There were a few things missed that only a OCD brain like mine would notice and some small miscommunications regarding how large the space was (which caused them to send 4 people instead of the 2 requested) but this was fixed as soon as they came in the door and saw the space. Communication is very easy and the owner/manager is very easy to work with. I will say on the first cleaning, the one gal who was directing the other actual cleaners wasn't really doing too much except for some small dusting and yet I was still charged for 3 people. The price is pretty fair so I just let it be. I would recommend and will continue to use them for regular cleaning for my home. read more

First time cleaning and they did a terrible job. They didn't move anything to dust it and just wiped around things instead of picking them up and wiping under, for example: they didn't pick up picture frames and dust behind it, or dust the wine rack, or wipe the window sill, etc. Their vacuum sucks and there were still crumbs on the carpet. Crumbs were left on the floor near the kitchen counters. They did not wipe down the baseboards. They did not wipe down the kitchen cabinets. Definitely don't hire them. They're expensive and not worth the money if you want a thorough cleaning rather than a surface cleaning. read more

Very happy with the initial cleaning service and looking forward to the regularly scheduled cleaning sessions!

Excellence in Housekeeping has been nothing more than a life saver! They have kept my house impeccable allowing me to spend my evenings and weekends on quality family time rather than scrubbing a tub. They have been very accommodating starting-stopping-restarting service after moving/financial ability. If ever a mistake (one time scheduling error) they are the first to admit and are very accommodating. Even offering a credit for inconvenience. I trust them in my home. They have even let our pup out for us. Appreciate you guys! read more

I have been using Excellence in Housekeeping for over a year in my downtown Seattle condo. They come by every other Tuesday to perform their magic. Those Tuesdays are my favorite days to go home. They do a great job and I never had any issues. They were always flexible with the scheduling if I was out of town for a couple weeks or if I needed an extra cleaning. I only wish that could afford for them to come over every week. read more

I've been a client of Excellence in Housekeeping for a little over a year and have been very happy with the service. The crew has been very meticulous with their cleaning and by request I've had them do items like wipe out the refrigerator or clean the oven or any other specialty that I need done. Over the years we have used other companies and have not been at all satisfied with the service, it is a relief to have these guys on board and taking care of us. I would recommend them to anyone that wants great service. read more

The staff is very polite, thorough and seek feedback. We had a number of areas of concern and small requests before first starting with their service about two years ago for our 1400sq ft Seattle condo. They've kept great notes and we've had no issues and never questioned the quality of work done in all this time. Finding a good, trustworthy and quality cleaner can be difficult. Excellence in Housekeeping was referred to us as they service a number of units in our building. We've been very happy with their service. read more

We've been using Excellence in Housekeeping for about 8 months or so for a monthly cleaning of our Belltown condo. They do excellent work every time, including taking out the garbage and recycling. The pricing is reasonable, and I love coming home after they've been in. read more

I have used Excellence in Housekeeping for over 10 years, at 3 different homes. The team is very detail-oriented, always getting into every corner, nook and cranny, which is amazing because I notice the details too! I love coming home on the days that they clean. The owner has always been responsive to any special requests that I have and is so easy to work with! I highly recommend (and often do) their services. I've tried others in the past and they usually do fine for a time or two and then their service goes down hill. Not Excellence in Housekeeping. They always live up to my expectations. read more

The level of cleaning has been very good. When there are issues, the staff has been in touch to resolve them.

I've been pleased with Excellence in Housekeeping's consistently reliable and high quality service. It's really nice not having to wonder if they missed anything - they don't. I wish I had found this service a long time ago! read more

I hired Excellence in Housekeeping for my Aunt's condo in Seattle, Belltown, and couldn't be happier. She has difficulty getting around easily and needed assistance. She was very ecstatic to have such a thorough, deep cleaning of her home. When I personally saw the results (and I'm a clean freak) I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail. Any extra request was done to perfection: windows, window frames, baseboards, walls, oven, hanging light fixtures, etc. I couldn't be happier with this company and will continue to use them for as long as they're in business!! They are professional, prompt, listen to their customer, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this company! You won't be disappointed. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I asked for the first time cleaning that cost me $264 for the most unprofessional service I have ever used. I regret every $ of it that I sent them. Buyer beware! I now live in Seattle and do not recommend this company to anyone! read more

These folks have cleaned for use for years and thank God. Meticulous, timely, thoughtful, friendly I could go on and on. They periodically suggest deep cleanings if different things; the grout; kitchen cabinets; fridge. These are always great suggestions. They have seen use through the loss of a pet and a new puppy with grace and understanding. Renee has been flexible without schedule during some construction and when our funds were thinner. The highest of recommendations. I wish my whole life was managed by them read more

Great attention to detail. Totally reliable. Could not be happier.

Highly recommend Excellence in Housekeeping. They are extremely thorough and very accommodating for one off needs. Scheduling is easy, and I look forward to coming home whenever I know they have been there. The first time deep-cleaning was a game changer. read more
