The first time, I was super pregnant with my first baby and had a couch from my old apartment that had all kinds of smells trapped in it. By the time he was done, they were completely gone. Fast forward to now -- pregnant with my second, and we fostered a puppy for a few months on top of having a toddler running around. Between the accidents, the spills, and just the general chaos, my heightened pregnancy sense of smell had me noticing every single thing. After Guy was done, the house smelled brand new. I couldn't believe the difference. He was quick, thorough, and so easy to work with. Reasonably priced, and on top of communication from the very beginning. I also really appreciated how sweet he was with my 3-year-old -- talking to him and answering his curious questions while he as working on the stairs. Wow!!! I mean wow!!!! Guy made my carpet look brand new! He did my living room, guest bedroom and master bedroom in my retirement apartment, and he took away all the small spots that were in the living room where I eat over in one corner. He took the few spots that were in the master bedroom. AND....the bedrooms were dry 3-4 hours, and the living room should be dry in 4-4.5 hours! My carpets have never been that dry, that fast. Guy was good at everything, including texting to let me know he was 10 minutes from arrival. I don't think you can go wrong with Guy! If there were 10 stars, he would have gotten them. I struggled with whether I was going to write a review because honestly, the service itself was great however, there were some moments of conversation that I thought were inappropriate to have with a customer. After greeting Guy at the door, I noticed there was a "Hillary for Prison" bumper sticker on his work van that was parked in the driveway. I'm not sure why you'd put such a strong political sticker on a work vehicle that you're driving to new customers' homes, but I found it very unprofessional and off-putting. Guy worked hard and our carpet looked great when he was finished. 5 stars on the work aspect. HOWEVER, the overall experience as a whole was... ODD. The conversation that he initiated was just....very strange. Completely unprovoked, Guy told us that the Earth was flat (it's actually not, but okay...) and that he wasn't going to give his future grandchild vaccinations. My husband and I looked at each other completely dumbfounded. We weren't sure what prompted the comments but it seemed he really wanted to tell us his views on those controversial topics. Why? I'm not sure. And while he was petting our dogs he made the comment that "it's so sad what they do to dogs in Korea." I said, "I know, I don't really want to talk about it." He continued on and said, "Yeah, I've heard they don't even euthanize the dogs before throwing them in the grease." WHAT. OH MY GOD. We're glad for the clean carpet, but I think we'll explore other options in the future. read more

He was very accommodating and personable when making my appointment and kept me informed of his arrival time ahead of time so I could plan my day around correctly.
