Let me start this out saying that I might having been ignorantly hopeful with the task at hand. However, William had great reviews and was able to get to the job quickly. I was not able to be home when the alleged carpet cleaning took place, my girlfriend instead was there to let him in or help if need be. I waited the weekend for it to "dry" like you do when your carpets get steam cleaned. It did not smell better on monday. It actually smelled worse than before which I didn't know was even possible but I digress. I messaged William and asked for a refund because I was disappointed with my service, especially for $180. I'm in college, it was a lot money for me and i'm still putting off moving in, because these carpets are filthy. It's student housing and kinda nasty I will admit. He told me no, he would redo the odor treatment "but it does not need to be recleaned" which is honestly insane because I myself have done more treatments, bought a vacuum and steam cleaner and am still pulling disgusting water. See photos I took cleaning AFTER the treatment below. I never want to write a negative review of a small business, but i'm appalled at this whole situation. If he didn't think he could have gotten it clean enough, he should have been honest and told me. He did not do that though, he instead took my money and assumed I wouldn't ask questions. Here's what I did not know until I was wondering why it smelled WORSE when I returned home 30 minutes after the scheduled cleaning time. He did not steam clean my carpets AT ALL. For $180 he came to my house, sprayed something down & potentially vacuumed. He was at my home for no more than 15 minutes. On top of all of that, he called my girlfriend "sir" as he left. I did not feel comfortable having this person in my house again to try to fix the issue. I just wanted my money back to offset the price of the tools and products I used AFTER the "cleaning" I wish I could leave no stars. read more

The owner answered our query for a quote and it was reasonable (1 wool rug and installed carpeting in the basement and stairs). He was able to work us in pretty quickly and arrived on time. He's a super nice guy who's been at this a long time. He seemed to have all the power cleaning equipment needed and spend a few hours on the job. He really tried to get our stains out, there's one stubborn pet stain that is noticeably lighter but alas, couldnot be completely removed. I have a new puppy now so Im sure there will be more and I wont hesitate to call Zimp for all my carpet cleaning needs!
