This is my second time using Scott and had the same great experience and quality as I did three years ago. Scott is truly great at his craft and is detailed through and through. I enjoy learning about the process and he doesn't mind sharing his knowledge. He walked through the rooms and provided an accurate assessment of each room and identified many spots I missed. He provided me and honest assessment of pressure washing the garage floor and advised me not too as the results would have been immaterial. First, This is not a review on their quality of work. I wanted a move in carpet cleaning end they gave me a price of 450$ over the phone. They asked for the number of areas and i told them the correct number. Once they came in and saw the place, I got a call saying the place looks bigger than they expected and it will take over $600. felt like he knew, I had to get it cleaned and trying to squeeze more money. I cancelled out of principle. I then called Juliana's that afternoon and they came in at 6pm( last minute). they cleaned it for just $200. Protech boasts of some long tedious process that takes out all the stains. I cant comment on that but Juliana's did get all the stains out too and there were quite a few. I first heard about ProTech Carpet Cleaning several years ago on a large social networking forum. The reviewers raved about the service and quality of work. I ended up using them for general carpet cleaning, living in Tukwila at the time, and had a very good experience. Last year, having moved to Kirkland since, I was in need of some cleaning. We had some pretty nasty stains on various parts of new carpet (chocolate, wine, blood, grease pencil/crayon, etc.). I called on ProTech based on my previous experience and was blown away with the results. ProTech's process included a very thorough walk-through of house, noting & inspecting various stains, high-dirt areas, etc. We discussed the various stains, what product/technique would be used on each and what the likelihood would be of having the stain come out completely. It was educational to say the least. ProTech doesn't use chemicals that will damage carpet (specifically the glue backing) which made me feel at ease. With significant stains there's no guarantee things will come out perfectly. But what I appreciated was how thoroughly we went over everything. I definitely felt that if there was a way to get the stains out without damaging the carpet, ProTech would accomplish it. And that's what happened -- virtually everything came out! There's one or two small areas that weren't 100%, but that was expected (although you'd never notice it -- it would take a critical eye to see anything). Fast forward to today. We recently got a new pet -- a puppy. House breaking is all but done. As part of this we've had our fair share of messes. We've used various products and made attempts to clean things up ourselves, but lingering odors tell the tale. ProTech arrived on time, inspected all soiled areas (with a black light, allowing me to actually see it), marked the affected areas and explained the process they'd use to deal with the odor. This involved saturating the areas with an oxygenated enzyme solution, allowing time for it to "eat" the cause and then using a powerful extraction tool to remove the liquid. They then cleaned other areas with their normal process. The odors are GONE! There is no one I will go to in the future for carpet cleaning needs other than ProTech Carpet Cleaning.
