I called Accel after contacting multiple other carpet cleaning companies. I was moving into a new place and wanted to get the carpets cleaned before I move in, but it was on a short timeline. I called on a Thursday late in the day in hopes of getting my carpet cleaned on Friday or Saturday. I spoke to Guy, who was super friendly, and told me they'd be able to fit me in to the schedule on Saturday afternoon and he gave me a ball-park estimate. Not only was he able to work with my tight timeline, but also offered the best price out of companies I contacted. He told me I could call him back to confirm scheduling. Guy sent two other men to clean the carpets, who were also friendly and very communicative. And while I was busy loading a moving truck at my old apartment, they were able to stay and work on the carpets in my new home. When I couldn't make it back before they were done, they told me I could work out payment remotely with Guy. This was so helpful! My carpets weren't in horrible shape and it was more about comfort. I recently purchased new furniture and of course, when I moved out the old stuff, the carpet was noticeably dirty in front of the old couch and chair. I was warned that this might not all come out but I was confident Accel could handle the job. I was right and the carpet (which is 16 years old) looks almost new. I also had a chair that was filthy from my teenaged son and his friends laying all over and he was able to get that clean as well. So as always I went through reviews to pick a vendor and I am glad I did. Accel really do a great job. I contacted Guy who is high energy and a genuine person. You can tell he's on the ball and cares about his customers. That said you can imagine they did an excellent job. There were some stains and they got them all. We even had silly putty in the carpet. These guys were determined to get that shit up and they did! My wife and I are still wondering how the heck they did that! We had made an appointment for Tuesday but the snow-pocalypse hit with over a foot of snow (our city never plowed our street). So we had to push it. Guy calls me as soon as the snow cleared and says, hey we got an opening want us to come by? Wow, this guy really goes above and beyond. He also put together a real quote I could submit to our insurance (our house flooded and we were approved for carpet cleaning). Hats off to these guys (guy), outstanding work! Highly recommend. This is the second time Guy has cleaned our carpets and once again did a great job. Incredibly responsive. Carpet and stairs look amazing. We had a couple of small stains that he removed as well as the dog hair. He did extra raking of the carpet because our carpet is dense and has a super thick pad. Let's make this brief (for me) 1. Need to steam clean my carpets once a year per lease. 2. Called two places highly rated on Yelp - one was Accel. 3. Accel was the higher of the two beds but felt more genuine from the jump. Other place bid me the premium service and when I said I wasnt related to Jeff Bezos they quoted me the standard service (oh you don't want the honeymoon suite? We have a nice ground floor janitor closet with the view of the parking lot). Even though their bid was lower i did tell Guy from Accel the difference in bids and asked if he would split the difference - he agreed (great guy by the way - pun intended) 4. Told him I needed the special pet mix added since I have two dogs and prop management wanted that and Guy was happy to oblige. 5. We scheduled a time convenient to us and they were there early but not too early. They were efficient and worked quickly but thoroughly. 6. Follow up was tremendous - they said they'd call back a week later because sometimes a stubborn spot is let clear until fully dry. We said there was a baby spot (we would not have called them on it) after a 3rd inspection on their insistence a week later and they were out the next day to spot clean - spot gone Bottom line - it is great to have "go to" service providers that eliminate the need to check yelp - I used Yelp to find Guy and Accel and now I won't need to use Yelp ever again for carpet cleaning. I'd use Accel seven days a week and twice on Sundays. Their pole position at the top of carpet cleaning based on average review is earned and well deserved. read more

I searched carpet cleaning service on Yelp, and kept coming back to Accel Carpet Cleaning, because of all the amazing reviews. I called and scheduled. Guy is a very energetic young man who keeps things professional and courteous. They wear masks when cleaning. We all love to chitchat. It sure was fun experience. He even asked us to approve their works in the bedroom area to see if it meets our expectation. I told them, the carpet is almost 40 yo, we don't expect miracle. As long as the aging carpet doesn't get shredded, we are A Okay. Guy and Anton are very efficient. They manage to move all the heavy furnitures around. They even put little styrofoam blocks under heavy flat bottom coffee table to air out the moisture. All in all we are very pleased with the effort and results. There is a reason there are so many 5 star reviews on this company. The gentleman that coordinated my carpet cleaning and actually did the work is named Guy. He had THE MOST can do attitude of anyone I have ever met. His operation was solid! He got all the stains out of our carpet from our toddler, and the stains from our cat that was once sick and puking cat food all over the upstairs carpet. Nothing we did pulled them up, but in 2 hours, Guy cleaned the stairs, 3 bedrooms, 4 closets and a hallway and charged us an incredibly fair price to do it. He was efficient but thorough and even told us if we had any lingering pet odors he'd come re-clean it free of charge. I was so impressed. This is so rare these days I feel. True confession, I usually only leave an extensive review if a company was so bad it bordered on criminal. Accel was so great that I have to sing their praises. I first had them bid a project pre Covid. Their rate seemed so low that I did not take it serious. What a mistake that was. I hired them to try and save my carpet before replacing it all. Three cats who's sole purpose is to ensure they make it to the carpet before barfing means I will frequently need a good carpet cleaning. They saved the carpet. Guy, the owner and operator, was great - easy scheduling ( about a week out at the time), good pricing, great work ethic, timely, and so positive. A real joy. Super transparent on pricing, he was willing to give me an estimate without seeing the room, which was crazy but so nice bc it helped me figure out the price range. It was, as he explained, just an estimate. He hadn't seen the room, the size, or the carpet, or condition. Our issue was a musty smell in the house we had just rented, from the carpet. It might have from previous dog, maybe just poor air flow and a wet season, who knows. He came, he helped me move out some of the furniture in the bedroom, he was not in a rush and was concerned about doing the best work possible. He also offered to come back if the odors weren't fixed to our satisfaction - a really small fee to come back out. We didn't need to have him come back. This carpet cleaning company is the best! Guy was determined to help me get out of the situation I was in! My first time meeting guy I told him that my apartment complex that I moved out of is wanting to charge me a great amount of money to replace the carpet because it smelt like "dog urine" which there was only a dog odor smell and no stains on any part of the carpet! I was only in this apartment for 6 months with my dog and it was a brand new carpet to begin with! In the process of this is all, we even tested with a purple light and moisturizer to prove No dog urine! Guy and his team cleaned the carpet the first time and instructed my apartment complex to leave the heat on in the unit so it can dry...well a few days later turns out the apartment manager never kept the heat on and it smelt like mildew!! I told Guy and he went there a 2nd time to clean the carpet and made sure for them to keep the heat on for the carpet to dry. Well...a few days later I get a call saying it STILL smells like dog urine which it did not!!! The floor looked great and Guy and his team put so much effort into making sure that carpet was at its best! It smelt like a brand new carpet! Soo, Guy then told me he wasn't giving up and he truly wanted to help me get out of this situation! The 3rd time he goes back with everything he has to make sure this carpet smells fabulous! Well..a few days later I finally get a call saying that there is finally no smell and I don't have to pay for a carpet replacement!!
