I have hired Power Pup twice for cleaning my townhome in West Seattle and both times they did a wonderful job. The technician - I didn't catch his name - was the same both times. He not only did beautiful work, but he also remembered my dog and was incredibly kind and communicative. The first carpet cleaning was in late 2019 after I had a bad roommate situation whose cats peed all over the carpet in his closet. Power Pup came out and did an excellent job trying to get rid of the smell. I just had them out again last week to clean the carpets as I was moving out of the home and the same technician arrived right on time, was friendly and got the work done beautifully. This is the best carpet cleaning experience I have ever had. Power Pup was the bomb! Jod was our technician and he was amazing! We could not be happier. He was very friendly and his customer service was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to us our options as well as realistic expectations for our stains, etc. He was very pet-friendly as well and fell in love with our little Chihuahua. I also like that all of the chemicals that they use are pet-friendly and not harmful to pets. That was a big plus, especially with our kitty roaming around during the cleaning. They arrived on time during the scheduled window that we were scheduled for. I wish I could show you after pictures after the cleaning. Many of our stains are completely gone, and the carpet looks like it is new. The carpet did not take long to dry at all, and since he performed the Pet treatment, it smelled so good afterward as it got rid of a lot of the pet odor from our pets. This was a worthwhile investment. It was about $160 after tax including protectant, then another $35ish for spot cleaning. It was only about 150 sq ft of FLOR carpet squares. They came in when I wasn't home, I just made sure everything was off the carpet. They pulled out so many bad pet smells and stains, hooray. I appreciated the seamless interaction. Incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Power Pup Clean. I hired them based on their stellar Yelp and Google reviews, but now I'm seriously questioning the authenticity of these reviews and warn you to do the same. To begin, I should mention that our home has 100% wool berber loop pile carpeting that is in great shape. There were no major stains/smells or other issues that needed to dealt with; we simply wanted an overall clean of the carpets because we hadn't had them cleaned since we bought the house a few years ago. The technician who arrived at my home, Fushair, was disheveled and unprofessional. He rolled in a dusty and old piece of luggage that contained some cleaning supplies. His shoe covers were torn on the bottom. He had a very awkward/uncomfortable way of communicating. He kept asking the same questions over and over again, like he was reading off a script, and described our carpet as "shoddy" before correcting himself and explaining that he's not "good with words." Within 3 minutes of his arrival, he tried to up-sell me a "level 2" clean for our staircase, despite the fact that our stairs didn't look any different than the rest of the hallway/rooms. He described their standard cleaning--the one they so proudly advertise on their website-as "superficial" and said I would not really see any results unless I upgraded to their more expensive deep clean, which should have been my warning that this was a scam service and I should have canceled the rest of the appointment. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to my gut and signed off on the cleaning, expecting that at least I would notice some perceptible difference in the carpet's look/cleanliness after Fushair was done. This was a supposed to be a carpet cleaning service, after all, and even their "basic" cleaning should presumably be better than nothing. Much to my disappointment, this was not the case. In fact, our carpets look worse than before Fushair "cleaned" them. They took FOREVER to dry (more than 24 hours later, the staircase is still not fully dry), the cleaning left a horrible chemical smell, and there are streaks on areas of the carpet that weren't there before. His machine snagged piece of our carpet and also gouged a piece of our staircase trim, which he at first denied, but after I pointed to the cans of paint sitting next to the staircase and mentioned that we had JUST had the trim painted, he offered a measly $10 discount. He also dripped cleaning solution all over our front entryway that he failed to wipe up before he left. After Fushair was done and we did a walk through, I mentioned my concerns and the fact that the carpet looked streaky and dirty. I also told him that I feel I had not been properly informed about the cleaning of a berber wool carpet vs. a standard synthetic, high-pile carpet. He became defensive and aggressive, and I felt uncomfortable engaging with him any further, so I signed the invoice and waited for him to leave. For what it's worth, perhaps other technicians from this company are deserving of the stellar reviews. The vast majority of praise seems to be for "Jod" or Emir/Amir, and it is possible that my overall experience would have been much more positive if one of these individuals had shown up to clean our carpeting. However, my experience with Fushair was awful enough that I felt compelled to leave this review. read more

We are reoccurring customers because I really appreciate the level of commitment from Power Pup. Always on time. Always a "Hey I'm on my way" and confirmation texts throughout the booking process. I love how personable Power Pup is and how thurough they are with their services. Since learning of how GREAT they are, we are trying to have our carpets cleaned quarterly. The time spent and the cost are all relative and affordable, where quarterly becomes a reality whereas other companies need all day and it's hard to coordinate plus it costs an arm and a leg and therefore you don't book them... He arrived early on in the time window they gave me for arrival, he thoroughly explained my options and pricing and looked at my carpets with me for problem areas. He was done with the cleaning pretty quickly, but you could tell he was very thorough in his work - especially on the stairs. He explained how long I should wait to put furniture and things back on the carpets and recommendations for how often I should have my carpets cleaned having a dog. First, Jod called ahead and gave us a 20 minute window of when he would arrive; unlike other cleaners who would give us a three hour window and still arrive late.
