I've used this company in the past and they are great. However, I had another company come to clean my carpets upon request of my roommates who got a "better quote" than Tubro. That better quote was cheaper and so was their service/quality. I immediately called Johnny at Tubro and he immediately came to see my carpets again. Johnny agreed that he could do better and the next day Johnny was at my door to clean the carpets. Tubro might be a little more expensive, but the quality of work and Johnny's professionalism was well worth paying for even if I already paid another company the day before. "Buy nice or buy twice". We are VERY pleased with the job that Tubro Carpet cleaning did on our carpets. Our before and after photos are AMAZING. The carpets in our house looked like it belonged to a frat house. 3 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats cause about the same amount of damage to a carpet. The gentleman that clean our carpets was on time and was very professional. He was very knowledgeable about the cleaning and explained everything. There are a couple of deep stains that did not completely come out. I am not even sure what caused the stains, but it still looks 100% better than it did. I never knew carpet cleaning love before. And then came Charles. I booked an appointment for a whole house carpet cleaning based on a coupon I got from an unnamed consumer review social media site that rhymes with Pangie's Fist. Extra stain removal and Roto Vac services and extra rooms were added on. Pretty easy booking through an email conversation and a phone call. Charles presented on time, was super professional and knowledgable, and so easy to work with. He explained how enzymes and Roto Vac could work on my toughest stains including a BBQ chicken wing stain. I was nervous before the appointment because our carpet was FILTHY. But, we had excellent results. The carpet looks one million times better and smells so clean. Highly, highly recommended. Good value. read more

On 09/29/15 I purchased an $89 Angie's List coupon from Tubro Carpet Cleaning in Auburn. The coupon was to clean three rooms for $89. Tubro contacted me promptly and the appointment was scheduled for 10/05. They clarified that a flight of stairs counted as one room and pet stains would be additional. I understood this and told them that I expected to pay more for an additional room and significant pet stains. The technician arrived as scheduled, took pictures of the areas to be cleaned, checked with his supervisor on the best method for cleaning and told me he would need to "rotovac" and hand scrub many of the areas to be cleaned. I was quoted an additional $110 for the work to be performed and agreed to the charge without reservation. When the technician finished I was concerned that the carpets did not look their best and assumed it to be the nature of the carpet (Berber) and that it would improve as it dried. That was not the case. By the next day it was apparent that the job was sub-par. I contacted Tubro and emailed pictures of the finished work. I told the scheduler that I didn't expect miracles but I certainly expected better results than that which I could achieve myself with an inexpensive steam cleaner. They agreed to redo the cleaning and scheduled a new appointment for 10/07, two days following the original work. The weather was turning from clear and dry to soggy rain and I was concerned about drying time especially if there was another fail with the service. On 10/6 I decided to purchase a new steam cleaner and, since furnishings were already out of the way, clean it myself to see if I could achieve a better outcome. If I was unsuccessful, they could then do their thing the following day. On the morning of 10/7 I took pictures of my finished results and compared them to the pictures taken following their work. The results were indisputable. When the technicians arrived I asked them to redo the stairs per our agreement since I had run out of "steam" the previous evening. They did clean the stairs which turned out modestly better than the previous attempt but still in need of attention. I sent the comparative pictures in an email to their main contact address and requested nothing more than a refund of their fees. I heard nothing more until I sent an additional email telling them I would take the matter to social media were it not resolved by 10/14. Their response was to stand by, the matter was under review and, "...we will be in contact with you...". That is the last I heard from Tubro. UPDATE: When I picked up my mail today (10/16) I found a note of apology from Tubro along with a check for 55% of the fees paid. read more

If you're thinking about using these guys, don't. After having used them about half a dozen times before to my satisfaction, I called and made an appointment for the following Monday. The guy arrived early and immediately complained about parking, which is actually not a problem. I showed him the usual areas that I wanted cleaned. Previously, it had never been more than $150 dollars including pet treatments for the most heavily soiled areas. After hemming and hawing for about 10 minutes about how difficult it was going to be I finally asked him to get to it. He came back with $290 dollars, literally twice as much as before, and that wasn't even for the whole apartment. I immediately walked him out. This used to be a good company that did excellent, quick work for a low price. Not anymore. Stay away they are all upcharge and upsell now. read more

Three days after Tubro cleaned my carpet, my carpet was still SOPPING WET, VERY SMELLY and it LOOKED and FELT WORSE than before the cleaning. See pics. My daughter was moving back home in 2 days, so I wanted to clean the carpet in her room before she arrived. I was told the carpet would be dry in 8 to 24 hours "no problem". I had the carpet cleaned Thursday morning, and by Sunday morning the carpet was still SOPPING WET. We even put fans in the room to try and dry it out. In addition, it was unbearably SMELLY, and it looked dirtier and felt rough, greasy and sticky. Tubro wanted to come out and re-clean 2 weeks later. This was unacceptable because it didn't solve my wet and very smelly carpet problem they created. I was told the carpet would be dry in 8 to 24 hours "NO PROBLEM". It wasn't. My daughter was already home and nowhere to put her things. The smell of the wet carpet was SO BAD, we had to rip out the carpet and the carpet padding just to get the smell out of the house. They refused to give me a refund saying I didn't give them a chance to re-clean. I'm sure the carpet would have dried in the 2 week wait time, but how are you supposed to live with smelly, dirty, greasy, sticky carpets for 2 weeks?! Stay away. I do NOT recommend them. read more

I called Tubro because I have used them for the last 3 years for carpet cleanings and they have always done a great job. This task was different because I was having my very light beige cough cleaned and it was extremely different from a carpet cleaning. Having kids and animals play on our Sofa has really taken the life out of it. I was skeptical that it would even come clean. Javier came out to our home and did and amazing job! The old couch that my husband wanted to throw in the garbage looks new again and for $250 couch upholstery cleaning we saved thousands versus buying a new Sofa set. Too disappointed On Jan 4th, Charles came for carpet cleaning. After a long conversation about the price and introduction about himself and other possible services, He told me the living room should be counted as two(even though it's not big), but he could give me the Halls a discount. So in all, he charged me $177 for three rooms and two Halls. He started to clean but the whole process took less than 30 mins. When I ask him whether he could redo some areas since I found it was a really haste cleaning. He told me he could do nothing unless I order some further service from him. And he left. I called the Tubro office afterwards since I'm still unsatisfied with the cleaning, the front desk told me that it should take the technician 2 hours to clean about 4 rooms area, I asked her if the outcome couldn't be guaranteed, can they offer to redo it? Later, the owner called me and told me another technician would come to my house and redo the cleaning. He made another appointment on Jan 8 for me. On Jan 8, another technician did come, with his manager, Charles. Charles said very unnaturally he heard that I need some further service. I told him frankly that I need my carpet be redone. I pointed out why I need to redo the carpet. I'm not satisfied with the whole outcome. Obviously, some stains are permanent but most are not. Because of the haste cleaning, most stains became shallow, but they were still there. I could see he did make some efforts to clean the middle area but gave the connection part a very haste cleaning. Surely I didn't expect a super clean carpet for basic cleaning, but at least it needs to be decent, like it was newly cleaned! He said if he redo my carpet, it would not help but only damage my carpet therefore he would not do that for me. Charles kept arguing and he took some pictures and said he would discuss with his team. Then he told me he could only say sorry to me and left. As a follow-up to my previous post: Less than 24 hours of posting my negative experience on Yelp, both the Manager and the Owner (Brian) called me to try to make things right. While I had already taken care of the issue by performing my own cleaning and therefore didn't need them to come back out, I found it very professional of them to follow-up and try to make things right and use my experience as a building platform for serving future customers. I think they were sincere in their concerns and to me, their reaching out to try to make things right speaks way more about a company than the service itself. I don't have any hesitations recommending Tubro to someone else. I think their intentions are very good and they are a good company....I just think I experienced an unfortunate breakdown in communication and, unfortunately, a less than expected result from the cleaning. So I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because, to me, the resolution is sometimes more important than circumstance. read more

In this case the way they handled my particular business interaction was first class all the way. Let me explain. I bought an Amazon Local deal for carpet cleaning, the tech did a great job on the carpet and stairs, but when he finished there was some scratches on the hardwood from the equipment. I called the next week to chat with them about it and caught who I think was the owner. He offered to drive up from Auburn (I live in Lynnwood) and fix the scratches for free. This might seem like a pretty standard response by a company to fix the scratch they made but when they got here they not only fixed the scratch but cleaned all of the hardwoods in my house. They were here for over an hour and did not take any $$ when I offered to pay them for going above and beyond. I was very impressed by the way they handled it and will use them again in the future. I want to start my review by saying that I researched Tubro by reading several reviews and calling & speaking with them. I used an Amazon Local deal and have been burned by them before and wanted to make sure this company was legit. I was impressed that the owner personally responds and tries to make things right when things don't go as planned - which happens, it's life! I was also impressed the gentleman that answered the phone (I think his name was Jacob) was very forthcoming and honest and really seemed to help me try and me pick the right deal and explain their services. We had our carpet cleaned by Charles & Logan last night. They called ahead and arrived on time - which scored points immediately. Charles definitely knows his stuff! He was confident and explained all the options and pricing. Both of the gentlemen were very courteous, considerate of our home (and pets) and personable. We hired them to clean 2 rooms (one of which was ridden with pet stains). We had pre-treated (bad idea) and he explained to us the consequences of what may happen with additional cleaning. He also explained how to handle spills and accidents going forward. In the end, they left us little booties to walk on the carpet with and the carpet was beautiful! It didn't look this good when we moved in! I'm extremely impressed and would definitely hire them again in an instant (and probably will with 3 boys & a dog to clean up after). :) read more

They did a good job with the carpet repair and cleaning. They are reasonably priced too. But their scheduling is terrible. There are 4-5 different people that answer the phones that don't seem to have much coordination amongst themselves. First guy asks me number of rooms and gives me a quote but not a date. Promises to get back but doesn't. I call again, second guy asks me the same questions, wants me to send pictures of the damaged carpet and promises to get back as soon as he's got the pics. I send pics - no response for 2 days. I call back. Third guy asks me all the same questions about # of rooms etc, finally send me a quote that I sign and send back. He gives me a date and time - Sat 9-10 am. Suspicious about their coordination problems, I even send an email asking them to confirm the time. They confirm its Sat 9-10. But no one shows up on Sat. I call again. The girl who picks up has no idea why tech didn't show up. She makes calls to different people. Then she calls me 2 hours later and admit that there was a mistake and that I am scheduled for Monday instead. Again, their job quality was good and so I am giving 4 stars. But watch out for the "Too many cooks spoil the broth" problems. read more

Props to both of them for their punctual arrivals, hard work and professionalism. This time with Charles, we were having a final carpet cleaning done as we wrap up moving out of our last rental house (hopefully ever), and good riddance to it! The carpet in my house is pretty old (it was old when we moved in 6 years ago), but still in decent shape. It's light tan, and just gets dirty fast. I have 2 kids and a dog, and we don't remove our shoes when we come in from outside. Javier came into a house with dirty and stained carpets and left them literally spotless. They look almost new, given their age. Javier was super polite and professional. I was really impressed, and I'm a pretty exacting customer. He offered to put protectant on my carpets, but I declined - and that was the end of it. There was no high pressure upselling. I will most certainly use these guys again.
