The reports are exhaustive, and they provide lots of details on what's okay or not, and any action to be taken. No home is perfect, but we were able to purchase with a lot more confidence in what we were getting, which helps to take the stress down on a very very stressful time.

Per report, roof was still OK, not needing new roof immediately. Titan never got onto roof, only used a drone. Thankfully, I got my own inspection with a different company before deciding to purchase home. My inspector, who did get on roof, discovered extensive damage to roof to include water leaking into attic in several places. This inspector noted that roof needs replacement immediately. This damage was never listed on Titan report. Also, furnace was not Ok. It had not been inspected for 2 years and needed to be replaced. In addition, Titan report never mentioned water under house and some repairs needed there. While Titan used pictures and report looked good, I would have bought a house that needed thousands of dollars in repairs had I relied on their report.

Their quote came in significantly higher than any other companies I spoke with, but nothing about the proposal made me feel it was worth that kind of premium...Once I started comparing options side by side, Wessco just did not seem competitive in terms of value, functionality, or overall solution. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying more for quality when the difference is obvious. In this case though, the pricing felt hard to justify, especially when other vendors were offering stronger smart-home integration and more compelling options and discounts overall. The interaction itself was not terrible, but the quote made the decision easy. I moved on quickly and focused on companies that offered a better balance of cost and value. Definitely get multiple quotes before making a decision, because the pricing differences between companies can be pretty eye opening.

We purchased manual shades for our upstairs and our basement but unfortunately decided to get the Hunter Douglas Automated shades for our main floor. After almost a decade of trouble shooting, installing new battery packs and motors I think it's more than safe to say they are complete garbage. Recently when we had a tech out to install all new parts on our automated shades. Wessco gave us free labor for the motor install but the technician only installed 3 of the 4 motors. We also purchased new battery packs as well. The technician said that after installing all new parts if we still continue to have issues to come into the store and get a new hub. . Well, lo and behold, installing all new parts did absolutely nothing with the new parts they gave us. They fell off the network and I've had to go back and reset everything again. I work in tech so I don't mind troubleshooting things but these shades are horrible. I called this week to see about the refund on the fourth motor, and to see if I could get a new hub since we still continue to have issues with the shades. Kami said she has no record of the motor not getting installed and told me that if I want a new hub it will be another $300 charge. Maybe it's just me but if I spend about $10,000 with Wessco for extremely subpar product, I would look into comping the new hub a staff member offered to me. Thanks for the memories, Wessco. Shades.com is our future from now on.

Here's why: Early last August we met with a sales rep to begin an order for blinds at our living room, dining room, and kitchen. It wasn't until mid-September that blinds were ready to install. During the install of the living room blinds, we discovered that they were not motorized, as we requested. Also, the dining room's large set of windows wasn't yet complete so they had to re-order those, too, because of lack of motorization. Finally, on Oct. 22, Mark installed our motorized blinds. One of 3 of the living room blinds didn't work, so he told us he would reorder the blind. Also, the blinds in the dining room operate the opposite direction we need. Mark said, "Oh well." Mean time they fired our sales rep. We have been pleading with owner, Gavin, ever since to correct this. He refuses to honor their 90-day warranty for a bad blind and then tells us in a google review that we should expect 100% satisfaction. Well Gavin, when will you make good on this.? You refuse to return our calls, emails, and even visits to your store! This is the worst company in Olympia for customer service. Steer clear and save yourself a lot of misery.

Olympic Blinds took possession of my blinds for a warranty issue and kept them for approximately seven months. They still have them! Throughout that time, delays were repeatedly attributed to the manufacturer, yet no clear timeline or resolution was provided. Communication has been consistently poor. The vice president of the company, who is also the owner's son and was responsible for handling this issue, did not return phone calls, voicemails, or emails from either me or my husband. Communication, when it occurred at all, was limited to text messages. During this process, I was told things like "It's busy season" and that they would "get to it when they can." I was also told that pursuing small claims court would be "a waste of time and money." Twice I have been told my blinds were on there way back from the manufacturer. I still have no blinds. Despite these assurances, months have passed with no resolution. I was given inconsistent information and had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic updates. At one point, I contacted the manufacturer directly and was told they were waiting on authorization from Olympic Blinds to proceed. Even after requesting a refund, the owner never contacted me at any point during the seven months this issue has continued. After researching further, I noticed that many Yelp reviews describe similar issues, including poor communication, extended delays, and difficulty with warranties. My experience closely mirrored those complaints. The lack of responsiveness, follow-through, and accountability -- particularly at the management level -- resulted in a significant waste of my time and left me without my blinds or a resolution. Based on how this situation is being handled, I would not recommend Olympic Blinds to anyone who expects reliable warranty service, professional communication, or timely follow-through

Hands down Seth with Apex is the go to if you're looking for great customer service,…read moreprofessionalism, and vast selection in Seattle. I live in a high rise condo with post tension cable (I still don't fully understand what this means other than it holds the building together and if someone damages it, it can compromise the entire integrity of the building structure - Serious stuff!) in Seattle with very strict rules regarding who can drill into the ceiling. After speaking to 3 different companies in the area about upgrading the wire blinds in my condo, I was about to give up. One company was very short with me and didn't follow up; the other two didn't want to go anywhere near the post tension cable. When I reached out to Seth, I tried to set the proper expectations regarding the challenges I've had. He was very optimistic, said he was up for the challenge and came out the next day to assess the situation. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns and even provided some design/style tips. I decided to go with the top down/bottom up motorized Hunter Douglas honey comb shades. Seth also chased down my HOA board to get all the appropriate approvals needed to install the blinds in our condo. The very next day I had a reasonable quote and swatches of samples started showing up a few days later. The installation went very well too. The certified Hunter Douglas installation team was able to get the job done in about 3 hours and took the time to show me how to operate them. Seth was of course on site to help make sure everything went smoothly. I could not be happier with my new blinds, and so glad I took his advice and went with the motorized blinds instead of manual - best money ever spent!

They provided a combination of cellular top down/bottom up coverings, roller shades, a blackout roller shade option, and motorization for my home. I did reach out to several other companies for estimates, and there are a few reasons why I chose Window-ology over the others. 1. Pricing is VERY reasonable. While Window-ology was not the least expensive option, it was lower than the overall average price. The pricing to go with Hunter Douglas branded treatments with motorization was very comparable to lower quality brands without motorization. 2. Unlike other companies, Window-ology is a Hunter Douglas service center. This means that they do repairs in-house, even from other companies. This gave me confidence that they knew the Hunter Douglas brand and how to work with the equipment. 3. They provide a comprehensive warranty, so if I have any issues with the window coverings, I can call them. They will come to me, uninstall window treatments, and handle the repairs. Other companies may offer what you think is a comprehensive warranty like this, even saying, "We will replace or repair at no cost to you." However, if you ask to read their product warranty, you'll see what's not covered is shipping charges, cost of removal, and reinstallation. I found this misleading with other vendors and appreciate how upfront Window-ology is about their outstanding service and coverage. 4. For my particular needs, I wanted to have motorization for a top down/bottom up covering. Some other brands do not offer this capability. I also have a rather large window that other companies could not cover with a single roller shade (they would need to break that window up into two roller shades). I appreciated that Window-ology could cover it all with one piece of fabric. It was very straight forward to get an estimate scheduled. Pamela came by to share fabrics while she quickly measured. I received the quote with options I had requested to see pricing differences between brands and with/without motorization. When I called the owner, Hal, with questions, he was very helpful in explaining everything. Once I had my options picked out, Pamela even came by one last time per my request to review the final options we had selected (she picked a couple on my behalf based on adding motorization). Her selections were spot on and perfect. James came to install everything, and I was blown away with how quickly he got all the window treatments up. He showed up on time within the 30 minute time slot arrival window. It probably took about two hours for him to install 27 window coverings! He did a fantastic job and then walked me through how to use them, maintenance, and setting up the app for the motorized windows. I HIGHLY recommend picking Window-ology for your window covering needs. The experience was incredible, product high quality, and service phenomenal.
