Kevin takes my older dog out to go potty when he drops off the puppy, and she becomes so excited to see Kevin as well. I moved to Seattle about 11 years ago and adopted a severely abused border collie. She is bright but needs "the right touch." A dog trainer I worked with recommended Helen who understands dog psychology and training, she has been my pup's angel ever since! I have moved about 5 times, and Helen has followed. She is quiet and gentle, and completely reliable. In fact, I have at times had her take care of my cat when I am out of town with the dog--and the kitty loves her too! Helen is truly a rare find, and I live in fear that one day she won't be able to continue as my dog-care person! I would be completely lost without her!

I think this is because there wasn't a consistent, calm pack leader...Max is exactly that. As soon as she started working with Max, I could tell she ABSOLUTELY loved him! Every time he comes to pick her up and take her to the dog park, she wags her tail, jumps higher than I even knew possible, and doesn't look back. She is incredibly comfortable with him and is always tired and happy when she gets back home. Not only has Max been accommodating and flexible, but he has also been a super supportive dog expert who has helped me with different things that have come up with my dog, whether it's concerning behaviors or even tips on grooming, etc. He truly cares about his dogs and will do whatever it takes to ensure their wellbeing. This kind of care is exactly what I have been looking for ever since I got my pup! On another note, I have personally seen Max at the dog park while there with his dog packs and he is super aware of doggy dynamics and knows exactly how to interact when dogs begin fighting or getting aggressive. It's so impressive! I would trust him 100% to ensure my pup is safe, which can be a tall order for my dog, who tends to be vocal and is a bit of a large personality. THANK YOU MAX AND YOUR TEAM!

Classes are so expensive. $275. For 5 classes of nose work (not private but with up to 8 people…read moreand their dogs taking turns in the training room one at a time). So approx. 15 mins instruction and training per dog. Class is 1.5 hrs. My roommate paid for the series of classes.. and unplanned she ended up in the hospital Emergency Room and had to have emergency orthopedic surgery. She texted and left a VM that she wouldn't be attending the classes the night before class started and asked to Be refunded the $275. They told her said NO to a refund.Too bad if you have an emergency. Our class isn't full and we couldn't fill the spot. But we will let you pay another $137.50 to sign up for another series in the future. So they kept the initial $275. And my roomie paid another 137.50 to be able to take said classes once she's all healed up and can walk again. They gave her a credit of 137.50 if she signed up to take the classes again. If she didn't there is no refund!! So that is 412.50 for 5 classes at approx 15min of ins time each week. So that ends up being a hour and 1/2 of instruction for 412.50. Holy Crap!! A huge rip off and absolutely crap business management for Dogs day out. Ok and my roomie has worked in the dog business in W Seattle for over 30 yrs and has referred dozens of dogs to this establishment over this years. She is going to take the classes that she paid 412.50 for so she isn't out the full amount she paid. But what a huge crock of doo doo. A poor business rule and my god she had to have emergency surgery. I know for a fact she will never refer another client to them or ever return to Dogs Day out for any classes herself. If I were her I'd also let my dog clients who she's referred to this biz about this if it comes up in convo. About this practise. Whatever happened to professional courtesy between biz owners in the same dog world. Or compassion when they end up having emergency surgery. I for one am really floored by this experience my roomie is going through!!!

Wow - where do I start ! Our dog Maxine has been going here for 2 years now. What stands out for us…read moreabout Fuzzy Buddy's is that everyone on the staff seems to genuinely LOVE dogs. Dana (owner) is an excellent dog trainer/behaviorist so all her staff is very knowledgeable. They strongly believe in positive re-enforcement based methods so you can be assured that your dog is treated with love and respect here. I have never seen anyone even raise their voice at a dog here or even look like they were having a rough day. What also stands out about FB's is the care and attention that the staff takes. The large play area is always clean, has lots of toys, and dog play is always monitored by at least two people. The staff is very proactive about keeping the dogs engaged and active as well as understanding when dogs need a break. At the end of each day, we get a report on what our dog did and who she played with (never get tired of hearing chronicles of Maxine). Our dog has had pretty bad stomach issues so sometimes they need to give her meds and food at odd times - they have never missed a beat. They actually have had very useful recommendations on what could help with her health issues. As for the pricing - it is competitively priced and worth every penny. On a side note, Dana has excellent classes on doggy manners and dog signals. Also, some of the staff does dog sitting on the side. I highly recommend Brooke and Hannah for this.

Cass was amazing and attentive to my dog, made sure to let us know if she pooped or not and what the consistency was like. She was also more than happy to help us with training when it came to calm greetings, as my dog doesn't really meet with any other strangers at our home. Scheduling walks through Tanya was super easy. The app made everything super seamless, like showing us the route they walked and any comments from the walker. On days that Cass wasn't available, Tanya did try to match us with other walkers on her team but after we did meet and greets I honestly felt that they didn't respect our request to not encourage my dog to jump when greeting.
