"White glove" customer service began the moment I called about services. Cecelia took my call and guided me step by step, she even allowed me to do a FaceTime tour so I didn't have to fill out forms on how much furniture, how many boxes etc. I received email, text and phone calls to confirm service and given status update on arrival. The entire crew was friendly, respectful and efficient. When we learned our house had "too much" stuff they quickly (and behind the scenes) brought a 2nd truck for moving day. The problem solved before there was a problem! Top notch moving company!!!

There were two men on the job who handled my items with care and asked me questions about what was suppose to go the whole time. I had a great experience and the stress that it eliminated was well worth the money. The starting prices are reasonable and my only complaint would be that if there was at least another person it would have went by faster. I did end up paying for an additional hour, but it was WORTH it! I would recommend them and I would use them again. The next time I will be more realistic with myself about the time it will take and plan accordingly.

I had a closing on the sale of our home on May 1. I told him the could come any day the 3 days before that. May1 was a Friday. They chose not to come Tuesday. I called and called, because I expected them to at least advise me. Josh told me he hadn't found a mover yet. On Wednesday I went through the same scenario. Me calling them. Actually, I called the previous week to see what my moving day was. I now know this is a last minute scheduling thing. Horrible. Leaves you hanging. I talked to their supervisor and Ashley said I had agreed to be flexible. I said I was flexible with the dates, but I was not flexible with not knowing. Thursday came. I had 1 day to move before closing at 9 the next day. I called and called. Josh finally said he had scheduled someone. At 10:32 he gave me the name of Hands On Moving. I called them. Same runaround. He said between 10 and 2. I called for confirmation. Hands On Moving said he was still trying to get in contact "with his guys". My husband and I didn't know if we should schedule another mover or not, as maybe they will still show up. I checked my bank account and they had pulled the money from my account. Now if we schedule another mover we pay twice. Hanging. Hanging. Finally at 3:30 p.m. Ashley called to say there was a problem with Hands On Moving and they couldn't move us today, but told me they would refund my money and to have a nice day. We now have 8 hours to find a mover and move. Don't put yourself through this.

First of all, they were at my house 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time and texted me, to let me know, that they're outside and to take my time, if I wasn't ready yet. As everyone is aware, moving is never easy and one's never ready and is always late lol. But iMove and the crew made it so easy and took over of packing of TV, piano and little things like vases and plates. My wife was so worried about the piano, that it would get scratched and so on, but since these guys are professionals, the piano was delivered in one piece and not even one scratch!!! Thank you guys so much, for making our move so easy and quick! We appreciate it a lot and will recommend you to all of our friends and relatives. Keep it up and all the best!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with DC Pro Movers was extremely disappointing…read more I even attempted to address my concerns privately before posting publicly, but I never received a response. One of the movers appeared to be intoxicated during my move. He was an older, shorter Hispanic gentleman, and every time he came near me I could smell alcohol. This made me very uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about professionalism, safety, and whether this contributed to the delays during the move. I was also charged a fuel fee for a move that was only 0.3 miles away, which felt completely unreasonable. On top of that, my final bill nearly doubled from the original estimate. I was charged approximately $350 for packing supplies even though I had already purchased and provided my own tape and wrapping materials and placed them in each room for the movers to use. I even have photos documenting this. When I questioned the charges, I was first told there was a misunderstanding and then told the supplies "weren't seen." Despite me clearly communicating that my own supplies were available, the movers chose to use company materials anyway. While I understand charges for sofa covers and a TV box, one of my smaller TVs had already been wrapped and I specifically stated it did not need to be boxed. They proceeded anyway and charged me for it. The most upsetting part was feeling pressured to pay the full amount before my belongings would be unloaded. After reviewing everything afterward, I truly do not believe the charges were fair or transparent. I gave the company an opportunity to resolve this professionally before posting this review, but the lack of communication and accountability has been frustrating. Customers deserve honesty, professionalism, and fair pricing -- unfortunately, that was not my experience.

It was a long interstate move, from Virginia to Texas, and we weren't sure which service to pick, but Dylan on the the phone call gave us a great price and assurance that everything will go smoothly. I took the leap of faith. On the day of the move, we had all our boxes ready, Dylan and his colleague started packing them with the tape and other items like TV, chairs with blankets. I was worried if everything will be delivered in one piece or no, but to my surprise Dylan got everything in 2 days safely. They usually do all the packing, loading and unloading, but it's always recommended to clear everything on the phone call before signing up and paying the deposit. I highly recommend Dylan's movers to folks moving within Virginia or interstate. He would give you a great great service plus he's great to talk to.

By the time the 3rd mover arrived and they finished eating, it was 3pm and this was not ideal since the move happened in January when it'd get dark by 6pm. I also was accurate with all the items that I had except I underestimated the number of boxes by 10. All the furniture was accounted for. They brought a small truck and could not fit everything in one go so they had to make two trips, lengthening the total time of moving. Despite the late start time and the extra two hours of moving, the movers were fast and efficient AND didn't break or damage anything. During the communications, Dylan/Mubina were very responsive. Overall, I'd go with them again.
