On Friday, Bryan, Chris, and Earvin showed up and after a brief walk through, they immediately got to loading the truck. These guys know what they're doing. They dismantled my queen-sized bed frame and wrapped my furniture. Real professionals. I'd say it took 3.5 hours to load up my two bedroom apartment.

Matthew and Lawrence showed up right in time. They helped me move the UHaul in front of the building. I needed help packing the last quarter of my belongings (although I had said I wouldn't need packing help- wishful thinking!). Lawrence devised a plan, helped me pack, and Matthew started getting things out of the apartment for more space. I had requested three men but someone had called out. However, iMovers called another guy who promptly arrived and was able to stay most of the day. They took apart my furniture, reassembled it (much better than me when I had last done it solo!), packed the truck like a winning game of Tetris, and drove it to the new place. I had asked for 8 hrs but it took 10. They never questioned leaving early. They took special care in placing the furniture, too, which was very much appreciated. Additionally, they made moving kind of fun: they are all very personable, laughed a lot, and were very kind to my daughter who fancied herself moving help. They got everything moved without a scratch on anything, and honestly, they're the fastest movers I've ever seen. James said he treats moving like Tetris, and he and Jesse did an excellent job getting lots of boxes and furniture safely onto dollies. I also appreciated how they triaged the types of furniture and loaded so many things onto multiple dollies in order to take it all down the elevator in as few trips as possible. From a pandemic perspective, they wore masks during the move, and I didn't feel any concerns. When I had to sign final paperwork at my old place, they headed to the new place and informed the concierge of our arrival to get the loading dock ready--now that's service! I was a little skeptical because they don't have a website, don't have a lot of reviews, and you have to communicate with them over the phone. After comparing their quote with other moving companies they were way cheaper. I was still skeptical, but my wife had a good feeling about them so we went with them. I am so glad that we did. They arrived at the storage facility early and got to work. They got the truck loaded and were on the road faster than I expected. They did an equally good job unloading and placing everything exactly where we wanted it. They also did a great job reassembling a very unique dining room table that has a number of moving parts. The table was disassembled by another moving company and I never had any assembly instructions. These guys did a great job reassembling the table. There were a couple of times they noticed that some of the pieces were not 100% lining up right so they kept adjusting so that it was perfect. I really appreciated their attention to detail. Also in hindsight, A lot of the other moving companies required a significant amount of information which I thought was overkill. It was actually easier talking with Amigos and explaining the job. Overall they were very professional, did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

Negligent drivers and dissapointly dismissive ownersip - was involved in a collision with a PayDay…read moredriver in downtown Baltimore where the driver hit my passenger fender, tearing it, as he was aggresively switching lanes before an intersection to make the light (where he then blocked traffic in that intersection - photos attached). When I was able to pull up to his truck to talk with him, he immeditaely began yelling at me that I hit him....Sir.........if you are a a driver for a company i would HOPE that you have a basic understanding of the following: "Vehicles that do not enter a traffic lane safely are responsible for any incidents that occur as a result of their entry into the lane. In a similar manner, when a merging driver changing lanes cause a collision, the merging vehicle is almost always to blame." If my car is stationary in a lane, and you hit me changing langes, YOU are at fault. I digress..... When he would not reason, I called the owner of the company (who I previously very breifly called immediately following the incident) and left a voicemail to which he NEVER responded. Due to this, a police report must be filed to get my damages repaired. Just know.....if you are willing to hire this company, their workers are not only negligent, but will also scream roadside at young women, with NO care from owner/management.
