I came across Envelop by McClain on Facebook marketplace while looking for a new dining room table…read more The table was reasonably priced and McClain was not only willing, but able to deliver because he owns his own small, family moving business. Having moved several times, I feel safe saying that the McClain brothers went above and beyond any standards I previously had for movers or accommodating businessmen in general. After agreeing on the table delivery, I realized I should take advantage of the box truck and began adding on various stops, pick ups and drop offs. McClain never flinched, simply negotiated a very reasonable service and delivery fee and it was all done with care, speed and quality. Envelop is insured, legit and a local, family business, with access to 17 & 26 feet vehicles. All we intended was for them to deliver a table, now they will moving us to our new home and I'm happy to know the last worry we'll have is the reliability of Envelop.

Some of it was waterlogged so it weighed more than it should've (which didn't even occur to me) so I offered to pay more than he'd quoted since he'd make less profit after going to the dump. He refused and stuck to his original quote. Also, I don't know how he managed to fit everything in the back of his truck, but he did, tied it down well and covered it with a tarp so nothing would fly out while driving. He was super clear about taking it to the dump, so I know this stuff won't end up on the side of the road somewhere or dumped in the woods, too many people do that so they don't have to pay the dump fees. He worked quickly and was done loading in about a half hour. At least half of that time was spent rearranging stuff in the back of his truck so it would all fit and could be tied down. I'm holding onto his number! I will definitely use him again! Totally professional, courteous, and hardworking, I have only good things to say! If you need junk removal/construction debris removal, give him a shot, I only wish I'd found him sooner!

I usually do logistics but deferred to my husband with few instructions, so there wasn't a ton of space or time to pack everything and there was stuff EVERYWHERE. The good: They were on time ish and provide blankets dollies and tape. The bad: the crew only speaks Russian so without the owner, they're hard to communicate with. The result: they moved things out of order, doing the heaviest things last resulting in permanent damage to my thousands of dollar custom dresser that was less damaged moving cross country- I think they lied about wrapping it and my sons dresser because they were exhausted. It was a twelve hour move. They brought 3 guys when I suggested four and two of them were not ready. I had such anxiety when the owner said he had heartburn I thought he was doing to have a heart attack. It was a TERRIBLE move (that is ongoing) but the guys were nice and did their best. My biggest peeves are not wrapping my mattress, headboard and dresser- my headboard was dusty but now it's dusty and dirty smh. There was no way this was going to end perfectly though and my overall review is a B+. They did their job.

I understand I had a unique ask but the manner in which he talked to me was unacceptable and not any way to communicate with a potential customer.
