Reggie and his team did an outstanding job on moving me and my wife from Largo to Columbia Maryland. Joining Arms Movers was the only moving company that actually came out to my place to take an estimate which I appreciated; all the other companies, roughly 10 others, only gave estimates over the phone and I found that odd. Reggie estimated the move would take 5 to 7 hours, gave us a flat hourly rate, and gave a time he would arrive for the move. The price felt to good to be true considering the prices I was quoted from other moving companies. Reggie and 2 others guys arrived 5 minutes early and started the move straight away. They carefully wrapped all of our delicate belongings and moved everything very efficiently. They had us completely moved in to our new house in 5 hours flat, removed the furniture wrap, and put our beds together. They were very professional throughout the process and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a cost effective and efficient move. BEST MOVERS I'VE EVER HAD!! This team of four helped me move from one apartment to the next in Washington DC. They were timely, professional, fun, and adhered to all of my needs! They were the fastest movers I've ever had, moving me in a total time of under 4 hours. They wrapped all furniture for me (I didn't even ask them to do this) and provided their own blankets and shrink wrap for wrapping purposes. They took apart furniture as needed and made sure to put everything back together again once I was moved in to my new place. They even went above and beyond and helped me fix a few things I had put together incorrectly. All of this was included in a flat, reasonable rate. I called other moving companies to compare prices, and theirs was BY FAR the best. There were not any hiccups or mishaps during this move! It was sincerely my smoothest move yet. I hired Joining Arms because I was looking for a small business instead of a large corporate moving company. I've worked with several in the area and felt I was ripped off with the extra "packaging" expenses you incur on the day of. Reggie was great to work with from the first minute on. I had put in a quote to about 5 different moving companies and he was the first to call me. Not only was he pleasant to deal with but the rate is very straightforward as it's hourly and includes everything! On the day of, they showed up 20 minutes early and didn't hang around wasting time by any means. RIGHT ON TIME!! - We moved from southwest NY to Bryans Road MD. A 7 hour trip with 2 toddlers. We had friends to help us where we were, but not a lot of help where we were going. I got about 8 quotes before I settled on Joining Arms Movers. The other company's rates were extremely high. Joining Arms gentlemen moved for me a dining table, 6 chairs, and a very heavy, delicate china cabinet that is mirrored, with glass shelves.
