We want to try a different salad chain other than SweetGreen and Mixit. Google brought us to this EverGreen in Columbia Center. We ordered two warm bowls: Jalapeños Business and Fast and Curryous. Both are ok to our taste. Ingredients are average and we didn't feel we were craving for it after finishing the meal. The only upside for the Fast and Curryous is you get double portion beef. I would not recommend this salad place if you are looking for quality food.

The batinjan (eggplant) and labneh wrap here has now taken its place in my pantheon of best…read moreeggplant bites I've ever had. Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

The taste profile leaned Asian‑fusion and was truly out of this world. My husband ordered the Bulgorrito, while I went for the Huli Huli Chicken. They do not mess around with portions here. These burritos are fully loaded -- we honestly could've shared one between the two of us. I couldn't even finish mine, but now I know for next time. Chops will take you straight to loaded‑flavor town. The space is very chill and casual, with ordering done through a tablet and food brought out by name. Everything from start to finish was just so good. I'll also note that they did have one veggie option available, which is nice to see. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

He always gets the Flaming Boar burrito and it's always too big of a portion for me so I always ask for his bottom ends whenever he orders. Aside from the delicious-ness of it all, I wanted to comment on a couple things: 1) pricing has skyrocketed on food so much and although the burrito is still $17ish I think last time I checked 2) THEY ARE SO FAST! One time I didn't realize they were closing in 5 minutes so I felt bad but only noticed after we ordered and it was out in just a few minutes thinking they were ready to wrap up for the night however, we went again like a week ago mid-day and I was tired from grocery shopping so waited in the car expecting 10-15 minutes but it felt like he went in and out in 5 minutes. So kudos to them on excellent service.

Given today was National Sandwich Day, I decided it was a great day to check them out! The sandwich menu is vast, so I had a hard time deciding what to get. I went with the Reuben ($14.75) (as I read it is made w/ their house-made brisket) and then I also got the Sriracha Chicken Club Melt ($16.75), as it seemed to be popular per reviews. I placed the order online - which was convenient! I showed up a few min late but my order was not ready yet, which was no issue.. the lady working (Rebecca, I think) was apologetic and was hustling. It seemed busy with lots of phone calls and orders. I loved the Reuben - the meat was so tender and not too fatty (which I prefer). Perfect ratios of sauce, meat and bread and not too greasy! Loved it and would order it again for sure. The Sriracha chicken club melt was huge, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Not that I didn't like it, but it was just too large and messy and didn't wow me. Still, nothing wrong with it per se. Besides the sandwiches, they also sell other things they make such as bread pudding, mac and cheese, quiche, etc. which you can see in the glass case. They also have soups, too. Besides the food they make, this is also a market, so they sell beer/wine, chips, hot sauce, and some other items. There is also a small seating area so it is possible to eat-in. I look forward to trying other sandwiches next time - hopefully the breakfast sandwich or the meatloaf one!

The food was served very quickly. The rolls were really delicious. Though it may look small, but the portion is actually good. One roll may be enough. The tri-pod is a popular option, but that's an overkill. You may not be able to finish all. But if you want to try different rolls, that's a great option. It's a small restaurant, but seems to be popular. While we were dining in, so many customers stopped by to pick up their food. I haven't tried the bowl or the pav bhaji that day. I will definitely go back to try those.

I had not eaten yet and tiny samples of chocolate was not going to silence my growling stomach at 230pm! I walked in and there was a sizable crowd in line and also seated throughout the cafe. Judging from the laptop crowd, there must be decent available WiFi connection. The posted menus offered a nice variety of food, beverages, and snack items. The staff were really upbeat and welcoming: from the person who rang up my order, another person who crafted my 12oz mocha, and the two folks working the kitchen line. Pretty efficient team working in tandem because the line moved in reasonable time. In addition to my 12oz mocha, I also ordered the Cuban Sandwich, which also came with a side salad. I appreciated the care given to both items - nice latte art, well composed tasty salad (fresh greens, bright vinaigrette, and sunflower seeds), and quite the mammoth, generously filled with roasted pulled pork, ham, melty Swiss cheese, pickle, and mustard. The sandwich was perfected toasted via plancha or on the flat top. Half of it, the salad, and the mocha were all on point. The other half I brought home and was devoured by The Homie. It was also deemed delicious. Glad for the spontaneous detour and revisiting this gem of a spot along Stone Way N.
