The domestic beer selection was great, the pork belly was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the poutine was everything you hope it will be. The burgers were cooked perfectly, and the brisket was tender, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. To top it all off, our bartender was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. If you're in the Niagara area and looking for great food, cold beer, and excellent service, I definitely recommend checking out Blind Pig. We'd happily come back on our next trip!

They have a great prefix menu where you select a starter, your main course and dessert. We split our starters, the wedge salad and Brussels. Both had very generous portions and were delicious. My sister said the roasted brussel sprouts were the best she ever had. I loved my braised short beef, especially the pearlized onions and my sister enjoyed her pasta. The desserts were good and we were stuffed by the end of our meal. Our server, I think his name was Riley, was fantastic. He timed everything well so we never felt rushed while eating and could really enjoy our food while taking in the falls view. Hope to be back here again!

Anyway, they looked pretty full but we got a seat immediately. Sandra was very attentive to us throughout the meal. I ended up getting a small Caesar salad and asked for grilled chicken on top. My husband got a side Caesar with his huge burger. We both enjoyed our food and the restaurant, although full, was quiet. The decor was nice too. We would definitely eat at a Turtle Jacks again.

I had stopped by this place last year when I was in Canada and wanted to make sure I stopped by…read moreagain. It is such a beautiful place, and really has that Irish pub feel that I like. I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!

I was glad we sat further away because it would have interfered with conversation, but I appreciated the singing (just a little loud for me). There were more than a few day drinkers hanging around the bar and patio, but no one seemed inebriated. To be honest, though, I probably wouldn't bring my kids here on a Friday or Saturday night. It was obvious we weren't locals and even more obvious we were there to eat (not drink), but I did not feel at all uncomfortable or out of place. Our server (a blond barkeep) was super duper nice. She was friendly, pleasant, and chatty. She definitely enhanced our visit! And the food was totally awesome! It was our first time having poutine and I'm not sure it was standard (it had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds) but it was delicious! Like really really really good. The burger was juicy and thick. The fries were totally yummy. Kid #1 said the chicken parm sandwich was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak. The prices were totally reasonable, too! Definitely a bargain considering the decent price for excellent food! For sure we'd visit Cool Hand Luke's again!

Always our favorite place to eat in Niagara! We came here…read morefor dinner last night and had an exceptional experience once again. We started with the Caesar salad and fried goat cheese apps - so good. Boyfriend says this is probably the best Caesar salad he's ever had (and this is something he orders regularly when eating out). The romaine is always fresh with no white or hard bits; bacon is cured in-house and dressing is also homemade. The fried goat cheese is amazing and one of the menu items they are known for - you just have to try it! For mains he had the filet mignon and I tried the lamb - we both loved it! Lamb was fall off the bone and perfectly seasoned. Veggies and onion mash were delicious too! Great atmosphere with fireplace and perfect service as usual from our favorite ever, Kaleigh! Lighting is very dimmed and I wasn't able to take many "useable" photos, lol. Not complaining though because I love the ambiance! Everyone needs to try this place when in Niagara Falls! Amazing farm-to-table food and a welcome change from all the chains and family friendly spots. We will be back!
