I had a flight of local whiskeys, which were all tasty. Everything we had was great - the steaks were perfectly cooked. The seafood soup special was awesome (loaded with mussels, clams, salmon and creamy but not too creamy). The panzanella salad was also a top notch version as well with extremely fresh ingredients. Overall though, even including the kids, the favorite was the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Slight maple flavor, good miso flavor, perflectly crispy and some extra sweetness pops from pomegranates. That's the one I'll be thinking about!

I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed.
