My family hosted my bridal shower upstairs at BBC this weekend. It was so beautiful and turned out amazing because of my mom, in laws and bridal party. Tricia, our bartender, was AMAZING. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the so-called "event planner." I use that title loosely because we received little to no actual help. Communication was a nightmare--calls and emails went unanswered, and any interaction we did have was met with rudeness and an unprofessional attitude. It felt like we were completely on our own, which is the last thing you want when planning an important event. I've always loved BBC and Brickyard, so this was incredibly disappointing. Until they bring in someone who actually knows how to work with people and do the job, I would not recommend hosting an event here. read more

Went for a few beers with family. We were seated in the outdoor patio, in the sun. Other tables around us were just seated but all had beverages. We sat 15 minutes without any one approaching our table, we thought we were invisible! Finally left with zero. read more

So we came for wings on Sunday because they do 50 cent wings. So we get sat and proceed to order drinks and they do some drink specials. Well I guess I didn't see the sign that does not say drinks and wings specials have to be at the bar. Well of course we sat in the dining room area. Now when we found this out we asked to be moved so our waiter asked and the agreed we could do 50 cent wings if we sat but no drink specials. So we compromised? Wings came out with fries that we ordered and Mac n cheese. Needless to say the wings were ok. The fries and Mac were dry and bland. So we get the receipt to pay and I didn't see were it said down at the wee bottom in small writing that if you use credit. We will charge another 2.75% to your bill. First of all wow really you denied me drink specials and then wanna hit me with another tax. So needless to say since you hit me for more money that means your waiter receives a smaller tip. So to the owner of we do ever return and if I see that you still charge and extra tax you can be sure that you staff does not get a bigger tip. We do enjoy when we come to Lewiston, but if you charge and extra amount I hope you are using it to pay your staff higher wages. read more

Our large group of tourists had the BBQ location next door bookmarked, but accidentally ended up on the Brickyard Brewing side. But once our group saw the diverse menu, allowing something for everyone, we were fine! From wings to poke bowls, salads and sandwiches, wood-fired pizza, this place does a lot, and they do it well. I was very happy with the short rib sandwich, and our large party of 10 had no complaints. Being a beer lover, I was in love with my beer flight and enjoyed the newly released White Bronco along with the Ten Pint Pils, Blueberry Pilsener with the funny name, and the Pineapple Blonde. The first thing you need to know is if you are coming here envisioning the typical BBQ fare of the original pub next door you will be disappointed. They have a very different menu, but despite my love of the original I think that is important to keep the two places separate. The second thing you should know is the place is gorgeous! The inside has a rustic, homey feel to it which makes it very comfortable. We came during the Christmas season and their use of garland and lights really made the place sparkle. There are a good number of TVs if you are looking for sports games and the like. They also have a large and cozy patio for use in the warmer months. The menu includes some apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and a small number of main dishes. My husband and I opted for the 3 cheese stromboli which was good, but when they say 3 cheese they are not kidding. As a cheese lover I wanted to like it, but it really was almost at the point of too much. We also seemed to have to wait an excessively long time, but we were having some good conversation so I didn't mind too much. I ordered the Ciccio pizza which was good, with a good combination of spice from the sausage and jalapenos, and creamy goat cheese. After so much cheese in the appetizer I was on cheese overload, but that was my fault for ordering such a cheesy fare. My husband got the open-faced steak sandwich which was good as well. Overall if I was in the area I wouldn't be opposed to coming back if invited by friends, but I think I would choose the original pub, but perhaps the BBQ centric menu just pleases my tastes better. read more

The BBC is beautiful...the woodwork is so unique, so much interesting detail to see. The huge chandelier, church window, sliding barn doors, murals on the walls....it's really a superb looking venue. The only food I've had there is the pizza and sorry to say but it was just mediocre. The 4 stars I gave are for the ambience, the design and look of the place not the pizza. Thin crust but not much flavor, the sauce was very skimpy and bland & the crust seemed a bit under cooked. There's a really nice banquet/meeting room upstairs with the coolest ceiling I've ever seen. Check out the murals and the stained glass window on your way up the stairs. I would still give this place a visit when you're in Lewiston and maybe just hang out with a brew. read more

We yelped this spot and were happy that we did. Pretty decent spot over all. Also, has the Pub & Grille attached which was a little confusing because they have two different menus and different items at the bar. However, on this side they had some amazing Bourbon wings which kept us coming back and the whole group loved! I tried a few of the beers and didn't care too much for most of them but I'm not really a beer drinker. We were able the first time to have El Burro Blanco which was infused with mango and jalapeño and actually really good! Unfortunately, the second time we came back they said it was just part of the menu for Cinco De Mayo so they should consider putting this on the regular menu as it seemed to a be a big hit with our group. I tried a few more after this and my second favorite was I believe is called "I Blue Myself" or something of that variation. It has blueberry notes and was really good. They also offer flights but will also let you sample any of them if you ask. Overall, pretty chill space I would recommend. Customer service isn't bad but not great either. I wanted to give BBC 3.5-stars, so rounded up - We stopped by for dinner on a Friday night, and it was decently crowded. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and requested a table in the outside area. The hosts and server were very friendly but slow... I would not recommend this spot if you're looking for a quick bite. However, if you're in no rush, this is a great place! We started with the fried green tomatoes which were delicious and served with a yummy tomato-based sauce. For our meals we shared the chicken caesar salad and bowl of beer cheese soup. The salad was a large portion, but the soup and fried green tomatoes were definitely a bit smaller portions than expected. Also, the soup was barely warm when served. They also offer a wide variety of beers, with something for everyone! We ordered the beer flight which included 4 different 5 oz. samples. This was a great way to get to try out many of the beers that they offered! I would stop back for their beer but wouldn't rush back for the food. read more

John is the best waiter! Very friendly and quick to get us anything we needed. They have really good soups, especially their beer cheese soup. By far my favorite place in Lewiston! They have an open wooden concept with an upstairs patio you can look out onto Center Street on. Parties are done upstairs as well when you book one. They have their own beers and my favorite is finally back - Auf Der Mark. It is an amber beer full of flavor. They have various types and plenty to chose from for your taste preference. They even have an IPA named Number 17 in honor of the Bill's QB. The house beers that never changed are starting to be available to buy in cans. You can also get a crawler or growler filled there as well. They have fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. One of my favorite things and very rare to find in WNY. I went with my family and we got those for the appetizer. I've had better (out of town), but these are a must order every time. For my meal I ordered the News Burger. It comes with crisp fried onions, jalapeno bacon, american cheese and sriracha mayo. It was cooked perfectly and as I'm of those weird people who like it well, it wasn't burnt which was a huge plus! It normally comes with fries and a pickle. I substituted the mac and cheese. It is homemade and gooey to perfection. I am not a usually mac fan, but homemade it my favorite kind. My brother tried the Traditional pizza with cup and char pepperoni. It had a thin crust and was about the size of a small pizza. He ate all of it. My parents ordered the Cajun Crunch fish fry and the Kahuna Burger. The burger came with grilled pineapple, bacon, teriyaki onions, crispy fried jalapenos, swiss cheese and banana aioli. Like mine it came with fries and a pickle. I was told you could taste the pineapple, the banana not so much. The fish is one of their favorites. Perfect blend of flavor and light on the stomach. Came here for brunch a few weeks back and it was amazing! The service was great and the whole party enjoyed the food. The patio upstairs is really nice and the view of center street is plus! Must try is the breakfast rolls!!! Bottomless Mimosas are also a must get. I had the breakfast burrito and it was good the only down side was it was stuffed with potatoes and to me that is just filler to make it look bigger than it was. After taking out the potato (which they also give you home fries with it) the burrito was on point. BBC is simply beautiful! I love the food at Brickyard Pub so I was excited when I heard they expanded the business! My friends and I were greeted as soon as we sat and we sat at the bar and grabbed appetizers. Their menu is very unique which I love but also had some great signature dishes as well. The food came out hot and delicious! It was a little pricey for some of the appetizers, but well worth it! BBC has fall fest and Oktoberfest going on and the place was beautifully decorated and the whole ambiance took you to a different place. They even had a competition holding a stint of water with a straight arm and the winner received a $50 bar tab! I didn't win but it was so much fun! We were passing through Lewistown during brunch time and decided to give Brickyard a try. I could not have been more impressed! I wish we had a place like this in Rochester. I felt like I was walking into a Colorado brewpub. It shared the vibe of a number of upstate beer destinations- Ithaca Brewing, Ellicottville Brewing, etc. We grabbed a couple of stools at the bar and took a look at the beer list. the bartender greeted us quickly and was super attentive. We had just left Niagara Falls, Ontario and the beer made there was terrible, so we were excited to find 6 or more good well balanced IPAs on draft. We went with a flight and I started with a Bloody Mary (an outstanding $4 drink), normally it's served with a slice of thick cut bacon- vegetarians beware, meat eaters rejoice. The bloody was excellent and well spiced, I don't like it super spicy, and they make their own mix which tasted great. We liked 3 of the 4 beers in our flight a lot and I followed up with a hazy session IPA. For food we went with the Grand Mariner French Toast with syrup and orange flavored whipped cream. I was ready to carb up after a night out and this hit the spot. My partner had a group of single items to make up a breakfast, eggs, home fries and toast. A bar that cooks brunch can easily fall into the trap of deep frying frozen potato chunks, but that's not what you'll find here. Everything was very good, and a great causal brunch. This is a great little spot in a super cute little town. Next time we will skip Niagara Falls and head straight to Lewistown! read more

This place was truly one of the best places i've ever been to. I went here for my birthday dinner and my server was extremely fast and the food was to die for. We only had to wait i'd say like 10 minutes, which felt like a second! I got Buffalo Chicken Finger Pizza and Fried Doughnuts with Peanut Butter drizzle on the side. The doughnuts were a dessert and was the Chefs Choice for the day. I think that many more people should come to the Restaurant and get something to eat for dinner. We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. We did not have to wait for a table. The décor is rustic, with a view of the brew kettles, and a lot of TV's. We each ordered a sandwich. I had the Rueben and fries, which was very good, and quite filling. The marble rye was thickly cut, which works well for this sandwich as it's quite moist. My wife had the Fortaleza chicken wrap and fries, and she took half of the sandwich home. This has some Mexican style ingredients. The fries are fresh cut and good. Our waitress was fine. I had a DP American pale ale, which I enjoyed. It was a bit more fruity than I expected. This was our first visit here, and I would definitely come again. read more

After finally drinking here a couple times, I returned to eat. The menu looks appetizing but I'd say that's as far as it goes. I was disappointed by the quality of food. I ordered a BELT with the Beer Cheese Soup. The BELT wasn't bad but wasn't good either. It tasted like something I could get at a diner for $6 but instead I paid $12 for it. The beer cheese soup was nothing notable. I barely liked eating it. Among the worst of beer cheese soups I've tasted. Also tried their wings. Sauce as okay. Went for brunch today and wasn't let down by the drinks or food. I had the bloody Mary and biscuits and gravy. Both were very good and unique in flavor. This is HANDS DOWN my spot in lewiston. BBC is beautiful and the owners did a fantastic job. The staff is always friendly and super attentive. There is plenty of space and lots of tables, so it's rare to have a long wait time. They have an upstairs with a small event room with an additional bar that they have open on busier nights. And lets not forget, a patio overlooking the little boutique town! The food is great! I've been here more times than I'm willing to admit and have tried most of the menu. If feels like walking into a ski lodge in Colorado. I tried the Apple Lager which was just how it sounds. The perfect option when you don't know if you want a cider or a beer. I'll start by saying that I'm not a beer drinker but I can appreciate the varieties that they offer, and if you're into local brews then you will definitely want to see what they have to offer! The menu looks great, but I think the items I ordered were better in theory than actual execution. I ordered the Bacon Naan and Fried Green Tomatoes. I misread the description and didn't realize the naan came with CANDIED pork belly (I read it as cured). Overall it seems that the toppings on the naan would work together but having something as hard as a jolly rancher on soft naan just does not work. You literally need your molars to bite into the candied pork belly. My personal opinion - just cook the pork belly and serve it on the naan. Don't ruin something that's already delicious. Again, great idea in theory but not executed well. The fried green tomatoes were good - the plum tomato sauce was a first for me as I've typically had them served with a buttermilk ranch but I did enjoy them! The people I was with ordered a pizza and some wings and both looked good (and they said they were tasty!) This is your standard bbq restaurant. Don't go out of your way as the food is regular bbq restaurant food. Nothing signature about this restaurant. We went with a party of 14 after a high school graduation at Artpark. The waitress was awful. She neglected several of us throughout the 90+ minutes we were there. Never refilled a soft drink but was quick to refill beer for those drinking beer. My guess is with a party this large that gratuity was automatically charged so she did not even try to do a good job. My husband and I are HUGE craft beer enthusiasts! We even travel out of state just to try different breweries. Upon arriving, the place is beautiful. They definitely spent some money in this place. The bar was pretty empty, a few big tables seated indoors and the patio was pretty full. The 2 bartenders were very friendly. Out fav types of beers happen to beer IPA's, but unfortunately they were out of their 2 IPA's. The bartender suggested to my husband and American pale ale (which is not an IPA) but the way the bartender said it, sounded like he though it was? Anyway... my husband had the beer suggested and I had the saison which was infused with peppers. They have a long way to go on their beer. Hopefully with time this will happen since they are new. The food was just okay. I ordered the BBQ taco trio and a side of wasabi mashed potatoes, while my husband had a chicken wrap. I really could not tell the difference between my 3 tacos which one was beef, which one was chicken and which one was pork? They all tasted the same. The wasabi mashed were awful. They were so green, looked like a bowl of smashed peas but tasted like a bowl of warm wasabi. Just awful! My husbands wrap was pretty bland and the fries were cool. On another note, while were eating (at the bar) one of the servers came behind the bar to tell the bartender her table found one of her long hairs in their beer. Instead of dumping it and pouring a new one, the server took the hair out and poured the same beer in a new glass! Gross. And when my husband had ordered another beer, they used the same glass he was drinking out of. We have never been to a brewery where they have never given us a fresh glass. Ordered the fish fry and needless to say, it was very unpleasant. First of all, the batter on the fish fry was quite bitter and bland. The batter was giving off bitter notes as if it sat in the fryer a little too long. But the batter wasn't rock hard or tough in any way. As if the oil was tainted. Lack of seasoning/salt in the batter led to a very disappointing experience. The fish meat itself was actually ginormous, flaky, and tender. The actual fish was cooked perfectly. But, to achieve a wonderful fish fry, the batter or breading has to be flavorful, and without a flavorful breading/batter, the fish fry as a whole is going to be a bust. The French fries that came with it were so boring. Little to not salt and no other seasoning beside the very little salt on it. Much to improve on their end and I feel as though they could have done way better. They were cooked fine but they definitely needed a ketchup bath. A simple seasoning applied liberally would have turned them right around into below average to very good fries. The only reason I am giving a 2 star is because the actually meat of the fish was both ginormous and perfectly tender fish meat. But the batter that came on it was sad and bland. And the fries that came with the fish fry were bland and sad. I would definitely give them another shot because everything was cooked to where it needed to be, they just needed to add the necessary seasoning to transform the dish. And something in the oil there is giving off a bitter taste. read more

Delicious food and beer every single time! My husband and I are frequent visitors of the Brickyard Pub, so when the Brewery opened up next door we were very excited to try it. Not only are all the beers on tap good, but the extensive menu and attentive service is what keeps us coming back. For beers, the Lewiston Porter is my favorite, but their menu is updated regularly. For example, for the holiday this year they had a Medium brown lager called, Belsnickel is Nigh that was very tasty (The Office "Dwight Christmas" reference is a plus ). For apps, the Fried Gnocchi is a must! It comes with a pesto aioli dipping sauce that is delicious and the portion size is large enough to feed 4. We've tried quite a few entrees on the menu, but I think my favorite thing there is the Shaved Prime Rib sandwich. It comes with their smoked prime rib, onions and cheese (add on), and topped with their Lewiston-Porter au jus - so good! Served with fries and a pickle, at $15 I think it is a really good deal. I came here on a day with the art festival going on so it was a little crazier than normal. We were able to grab a spot at the bar and were greeted promptly. I love the names of their beers, they are quite funny. I enjoyed the beers i tried. We ordered some appetizers to snack on, we were in a bit of a hurry. The food took quite a long time about 25 minutes but they were backed up due to the crowds. The place is really beautiful with two floors and patios. They offer you the chance to take home some of their home made beers. They actually can them right in front of you which is really cool but seems to take a long time. I watched 2 bartenders fiddle with the 6 pack they were putting together for about 15 minutes while patrons waited for drinks. They should either make some ahead of time or get quicker at doing it as to not occupy a bartender for such a long time while service for others suffers. The food was just ok. The taco trio was pretty dry and bland. The tater tots were good, but how can you go wrong with tots covered in melted cheese and bacon?
