My fiancée got a breakfast sandwich and it was extremely dry with no sauce on it at all. Very possible that sauce was an option and he didn't see it, but the other ingredients in it were dry as well. When I try a coffee shop for the first time, I take my time, soak up the atmosphere, look at the menu including their descriptions, and ask questions if I need to do so. My tendency the first time is to go with a standard drink because it allows me to determine if the coffee lives up or down to the atmosphere. That takes me to the reason I come in: the coffee. It is very good. I would have a hard time finding fault with any of the drinks I've tried here. I don't know if it's the coffee, the place, or the employees who chat amicably with everyone -- even the newcomers. Go early enough in the day and there will be a tasty choice of food options in generous portions.
