This was recommend by our hotel across the street. The food was AMAZING! Easy access off main hwy. Restaurant is a little outdated, but the food makes up for all that. It's always hard to find good, authentic tasting Mexican food. Everyone ordered something different, and it all was delicious. The wait staff was kind, and he continued to check in on us with a full house of customers. If in the area and love great tasting Mexican food, stop on in! We will hopefully be returning to this area and definitely get more yummy food.

Meh. It's by the airport and we were starving after a long day of flying so we stopped off here. The food was alright, nothing spectacular. Margaritas were a bit too sweet, like too much sugary mix. The server seemed preoccupied and/or uninterested in checking on tables. I hate leaving mediocre reviews, but if food is so-so and staff seem like they couldn't care less, it doesn't leave me feeling impressed.

mexican after a week of yellowstone offerings was a welcome surprise. adorable decor inside. service was fair. happy to get complimentary chips and salsa shrimp fajitas - good beans, came with decent size lettuce/tomato salad and guacamole. rice was a bit dry. shrimp were good, plate was pretty greasy but decently tasty. taco salad with chicken- wish they specified this was with shredded tinga style chicken. the "salad" was virtually all meat, hardly any lettuce. and since it the meat was wet and shredded the lettuce that was there got pretty soggy. meanwhile the chicken was somehow kind of dry? and pretty clumped together despite my critiques I still think it's worth a stop

Fiesta Mexicana was a surprising find in Montana. I did not expect a decent Mexican restaurant to be around here but Fiesta was definitely it! The chips and salsa left a lot to be desired. The chimichanga I ordered for lunch was excellent though. I got the shredded beef and the beef was seasoned nicely. The ice was pretty weak and was a bit like cardboard. If you want Mexican food in the Bozeman area I would recommend Fiesta. The service was pretty mediocre but we got everything we needed.

Seriously? Over $32 for two margaritas?!?!

We like to treat ourselves at the end of the workweek with margaritas and chips and salsa. Every time I go in to pick up our order the price is different.EVERY SINGLE TIME! Over $32 for two margaritas before tip? Ridiculous!

Napolitos Con Huevos and a tamale

After spending five days camping in the mountains of Montana we headed to this little place. The waitress we had was great, a little blonde with tattoos on her arms, I forgot to ask her name. I had the Nopalitos Con Huevos, a mix of eggs, cactus leaf, tomatoes and onions. Wow! The mix of those ingredients were outstanding! I had never had cactus leaf before, it has kind of a earthy, mushroomy flavor. I had a beef tamale on the side. The meat was tender and the masa was perfect. The restaurant was clean and covid careful. Masks to enter, you had to sanitize your hands upon on entering and exiting. The whole staff was in masks.

"Authentic" Mexican foods? My ass. Crispy tacos tasted like Taco Bell's tacos; you will save your money by going to Taco Bell or buying taco shells/beef from a food store to make it for yourself instead, but again, nothing beats California's Mexican foods.

    Carne Asada Platter was awesome!

I loved the ambience and the atmosphere my family even decided to get a reservation. When i pronounced I had a shellfish allergy I was told that everything had been cross contaminated and I couldn't eat there. I almost had to leave my family and uber home since the majority of my family can eat shellfish. I am a cook but I am no sushi chef I have done sushi while private cheffing. I do believe that there are certain steps you can take to prevent cross contamination and being able to store things properly in order to prevent contamination. I understand that when at sushi restaurants there's no helping fryers which is completely understandable. There is also a point I'd like to make how there should be some kind of sign outside or when making a reservation to pronounce on their end that they can't accommodate. At the end of the day I'm disappointed, I almost chose to leave my family, and we all ended up walking out without ordering since they can't accommodate to my allergy. I hope they take steps in the future to prevent cross contamination or pronounce they cannot accommodate to certain allergies before making a reservation.

The kitchen staff was engaged and helpful (Paul, Maddi, and Trevor were amazing, but also shout out to the rest of the kitchen), and the food was out of this world. Paul obviously cares deeply about his craft and made sure we knew what we were eating and where on the fish it came from, and it was really cool to watch him work right in front of us (especially given the fact that the sushi was out-of-this-world). Trevor was super fun and kept everyone engaged through the whole night while also making sure we were supplied on anything we needed - not to mention he is an impressive force in the kitchen and everything they brought out was great. Maddi was also incredible and made the best mocktails I've ever had (and it's not even close) - each of them was innovative and delicious. The food itself was amazing and there wasn't a single course that I disliked. It's near impossible to pick a favorite because they all felt like stand-outs. I am traveling for the summer so I booked a solo reservation and they treated me like family and made sure that I was never bored or left out. Montana is a beautiful place with lots to do and still Izakaya's omakase experience is near the top of my list. If you are on the fence about this experience: make the reservation, it's worth it!

Chico Hot Springs was a highlight of our nine-day, four-state road trip through Idaho, Utah,…read moreWyoming, and Montana...and there were a LOT of highlights. Originally booked as a single night, post-Yellowstone reprieve (I mean, looking at hot springs all day long makes you want to soak in one, right?!), we ended up extending our stay another day, because of how much we all (my wife and I, plus our two toddler tons) loved this place! The hot springs alone is worth the price of admission: two pools, one smaller and warmer, the other larger and cooler (but still warm enough that there is no temperature shock when shifting between them), with a poolside bar window where you can order cocktails from the attached saloon...that's pretty hard to beat! There's also an attached restaurant, but we didn't get a chance to check it out, as it was closed by the time we returned to the hotel both nights. There's also the aforementioned saloon, which is open until 11-ish every night (basically, until everyone staggers out), with a wonderful, conversational bartender whose name I wrote down, and shamefully lost, but he was warm, welcoming and engaging: a true gem in an already glittering establishment. He also pointed out their absolutely ABSURD wine selection, indicating the presence of a fabulously stocked wine vault somewhere on site, for those with expensive tastes (not me; I'll stick to my whiskey!). Rooms are rustic, but comfortable, including the beds. We stayed our first night in a private cabin up on the hill, with two small bedrooms (queen beds in each) and a bathroom. Our second night, all the cabins were filled, so we ended up in a room in the main lodge, on the second floor, which had its own aesthetic perks, as the whole building feels like an inn from a previous century (which, technically, I guess it is...but it feels even older than that, in all the good ways). It's probably also haunted. We hope it is, anyway! Beyond all these incredible features I've mentioned, there's actually many, many more: an on-site gift shop / café, open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day; there's a day spa up on the hill; you can book horseback rides from the stable near the gift shop; there's a playground for the littles behind the private garden, which appears to be tended by the James Beard award-winning chefs that make the fantastic dining hall an excellent choice for either breakfast/brunch (a buffet at $22/person, and absolutely worth it), or a truly incredible fine dining service in the evening. All those things, and I'm sure I'm probably forgetting or overlooked something. In short, Chico Hot Springs has something for everyone, young or old, rustic or extravagant: our little sons LOVED the hot springs (as did we, of course), but there's so much more to love here, that it has made a lasting impression on us all. Montana has never had much of a draw for city-slickers like my wife and I, but after our stay here, our ignorance has been thoroughly rectified. VERY recommended.

The ambiance was very nice with a mixture of rustic and classy. We arrived early and planned to have a drink at the bar before our meal. The bartender was.... less than experienced. I ordered one of their signature drinks and even with the recipe book and someone else assisting him he managed to mess it up and forget a key item for it. After realizing it he did promptly bring me the missing component and was very friendly, I just wish it would have been correct to begin with. The staff asked if we wanted to see a menu to plan our dinner while we waited so we took advantage of that. Unfortunately, they gave us incorrect information about the version of the menu that was available to order from. It ended up not being helpful to look and plan early since we couldn't get what we saw ahead of time. Our hostess and waitress on the restaurant side was incredible. She was prompt, friendly, patient, and eager to please. We ordered the sirloin meals with a couple sides each and the Caesar salad for a starter. The salad was phenomenal! It kept us excited for our upcoming meal. The problem was the steak, which is pretty unfortunate at a steakhouse. I ordered medium and my husband ordered medium rare, but even after sending the steaks back twice each they were not correct. His steak was raw still and mine was rare. The server knew there was an issue because when she put the plates down she had us cut into the steaks to check their doneness both times and insisted she bring them back to get them right. She offered to bring new sides out as well so they'd be fresh when we had our properly cooked steaks as well. Again, she was great. She did what she could to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, by the time the steaks came back wrong twice we were not willing to give it another shot. The restaurant was pretty slow since it was a Monday, so I don't understand how the steaks could be sent out the wrong doneness twice. Either someone was new or they didn't care. The waitress went to get the manager for us, but they never came out to talk to us. It seemed like the least they could do to at least talk to us about the experience. Our meal was comped but we tipped the waitress healthily anyway because she really did try to make things right, she just wasn't the cook and couldn't fix the real issue. The experience was pretty lackluster for my birthday meal. It was memorable in the wrong way. I didn't even get a birthday dessert! We had to go to DQ for ice cream to have a birthday treat.
