We went up & ordered right away. This (our 3rd stop in Montana) was the 1st place to hand us the 3 stamp card. We, not being from Montana, looked at it as if he'd handed us a random appendage from his body, no doubt. All we were trying to do was pay for our drink - ha. His explanation was "that's our tab, if you decide you want another, bring the card up." We tried to explain that we didn't want another. We were only having one & we'd like to pay. He told us to hold on to the card & pay after we were done. We went out back to the permanent food truck and ordered Kels kryptonite, the pretzel & a chicken & Belgian waffle w/ hot honey. It took about 20min. While we waited, we sipped our beer and flipped these cards over looking for clues... then we took to Google... then we spied on other people. Maybe we would have enjoyed the beer more if we knew what these cards were for and what the heck we were supposed to do with them! Fossil Fuel IPA scored a 3.25 from Kel n/a from me The Capone Oatmeal Stout a 3.5 from Kel 3.25 me Both on the average side with no major knocks or stand outs for features. The food was fresh & tasty - we wrapped up & went inside. We were asked for our cards, our book was stamped, we paid for 1 beer & went out still lost... At our NEXT stop, the barkeep explained that by Montana law, there's a 3 pour limit & a lot of larger places uses cards to track pours (aha!) & a strict 8pm cut off for taps - which we came waaay too close to!

We had Katen wait on us for dinner and she was fabulous! She was kind, great with our kids and a very thoughtful server. She made sure we had everything we needed and had great dinner suggestions. We added a small side of steak to split for our kids and she made sure each kid had enough and even had the steak cut up. She talked to us about our up coming trip and was very engaging. We were delighted to have her the following day when we dined for dinner. Everything came out perfect, she checked on us multiple times and was extremely accommodating to our wants and needs for dinner. The following morning we dined for breakfast and had Kendra wait on us. She was also amazing. All of the staff must be fabulous because each time we were there we were blown away by the friendly, helpful and thoughtful staff. Kendra not only provided great table service, but she was a delight to talk with. She gave insight to our trip and gave great suggestions for future trips. We were one time crunch and she made sure we ate and got to our next destination as quick as possible. Thank you both again for such a great stay and thank you for taking the time to talk with us!

They had NBA finals and World Cup on while we were there. The place feels cozy and they welcome everyone. We both ordered fish dishes. The walleye and the honey salmon. Food came out after a while and we really liked our dishes. The fish was cooked perfectly and came with a nice, flavorful sauce, instead of just some bland veggies. Overall we liked the walleye a little bit better. We were happy to find some items that are at least a little bit on the healthier side. Walked into the place and they sat us down into a freezing room. The waitress told us that it would get warmer as the crowd shows up. We told them that we were freezing and they still did not offer to move us. Fortunately we were going to miss the crowd since we weren't going to stay there for 4-5 hours for them to show up to exhale enough carbon dioxide to warm the room up. So my wife orders the salmon dish and it came with two sides, she couldn't chose the sides, the dish had broccoli and salad. I order the filet mignon, baked potato and salad and specifically inform the waitress that I want my steak to be cooked "medium". Not "medium rare or medium well done", because the cooks always get it wrong depending on the thickness of the steak if they have a mediocre chef. Well she brings the salads out, can't mess up the salads, right? Salads look mediocre at best, small, nothing to brag about. Still freezing our asses off in the room. The meals are arriving, yeah... My wife's salmon plate was on fire as she bringing it out. The wooden platter that the fish was placed on was on fire which was burning/charr-broiling (crispy) the end of the salmon, the waitress put the fire out as she sat it down on the table, I shit you not!!! She sat my steak and bake potato down. The potato is a nice sized one and cooling off due to the room being so cold and it's got butter on it and the butter is not even melting, so I'm like okay. The waitress (bless her heart) asked me to cut into my steak to verify that it's cooked to my standard before she walks away and asked me if I wanted anything else, why yes I do, I want some A-1 steak sauce like I asked for before. I cut the steak open and it's rare to medium rare. Take it back and get it right. At this point if the A-1 sauce had been there with everything else going on, I would have eaten the steak, took my losses and left and gave her a poor tip. Bam, she comes back with plate which is splattering grease on me (I have a white pullover shirt on) and the table with one of those little ketchup tubs half-way full of some type of steak sauce. You know the type that you pump into the little cups where you get the flatware from and tells me it's @ 350 degrees or some shit like that. At this point, I'm done. I don't care if blood is pouring out of the piece of meat, a little bit of steak sauce, a frozen baked potato, it's going down. Nothing like having a filet that's burnt crispy on the ends, good crispy burnt crunchy tasting and getting to a medium pink middle, what a transition. I used to grill like that. My wife did love her salmon, she didn't eat the broccoli, it would have been nice if she had a choice on her side. The waitress asked if we wanted desert, I just ignored her after that. Got my check, poor tip and left. I think that the salad or meal gave me diarrhea in the evening at the hotel. I had indigestion and diarrhea all night long and the next morning. I had to go over to a local store and buy some stop the flow pills just so that we could fly out of town that day. The funny thing is that Rib & Chop House sent a survey link to fill out and when I went to fill it out, that's why I'm doing this one, I started out with a poor rating. Then they send you a verification code to start it, the code wouldn't work, resend, it wouldn't work. I was really done then.

I don't come here because the food is amazing. I come here because my friends drink beer, and until recently, I could still order an Athletic non-alcoholic beer that actually tasted like beer. That mattered to me. It made the experience feel normal and enjoyable. I understand that Buffalo Wild Wings may still have Heineken 0.0 and Michelob Ultra Zero, but to me, those do not taste like beer in the same way Athletic did. Athletic was the one non-alcoholic option that felt like a real beer choice, not just a substitute. It may seem like a small thing, but it changes the whole reason I came here. For people who don't drink, or who are sober, having a good non-alcoholic beer option matters. It lets us be part of the same experience without alcohol. I'm disappointed because Buffalo Wild Wings had a good thing for customers like me. Taking away Athletic makes it feel like there is one less reason for me to come here with my friends. Unfortunately, I don't think I can keep coming here unless a real non-alcoholic beer option comes back.

I would say the burger was not bad, the lemon pepper boneless chicken wings were quite salty as well as the teriyaki cauliflower wings. If I did order these again, I would probably ask for the sauce on the side to control the sauciness as well as the saltiness. Overall not a bad spot to get a variety of food so everyone can get what they want. The wait time might be an issue but as long as you're not starving, you should be okay. The saltiness of the food though can be tricky so perhaps ask for sauces on the side.

Our server, Tommy, was very rude to me and my mom and acted like he did not even want to be there. One thing that really stood out was when I asked how big the large pizza was. Instead of just answering my question, he said with an attitude, "Just an average large size, I don't know." I was just asking a simple question, and the way he responded made me feel like I was bothering him. He also smelled strongly like cigarettes, which was pretty gross. He barely checked on us, and our food took forever to come out even though the restaurant was not busy. There were only two other tables with people, and another waitress was taking care of them. After we finished eating, he just dropped the checks off and walked away. We were actually going to get dessert, but after the way we were treated, we decided not to. The food was good, but good food does not make up for really bad service. I'm back here for college, and I really like pizza, so I probably would have spent $500+ here during the school year. But after this experience, I probably won't be coming back. It sucks because this was my first time here, and one server completely ruined my first impression of the place.
