My friend and I love to meet here during the week because it is super easy to get a table, but the vibe of the restaurant is still lively. My go to's here are the Steak Salad and the Salmon Kale Caesar Salad. Appetizer wise I would go for the brussel sprouts or the truffle fries. Drinks here are great because you can get a single cocktail or a pitcher to share with your group! This is a great options for a girls night. A bit of a later review. We were in the area for the Claremont farmers market. My son loves burgers, so I figured this spot a try out of the areas options. I went with the spicy fried chicken sandwich, while my son ordered the BBQ burger. Sadly, my son wasn't a fan of his meal. The burger was dry and the fries weren't seasoned. Nothing some ketchup and more BBQ sauce couldn't fix, but still.. I enjoyed my sandwich. Probably wouldn't stop by again, but worth a try. Service was fine. Had a great experience today visiting Eureka Claremont. The gentleman that answered the phone, Gary was very nice and was able to help me with my reservation today. Customer service/Phone Etiquette and friendliness from him was 10/10. Big plus when you operate any business. These are the employees you want. Sundays the restaurant has a Bloody Mary special And it included a small beer. Super fun, cute and cool idea. Made us excited about our Sunday lunch. Ordered the Nachos for appetizer, 2 burgers the American and Jalapeño Egg Burger everything Delicious, Well Made, great presentation. Good ingredients and not cheaply made. Took my dad here for his birthday today and left very disappointed with the personality the staff lacked and also the several attempts of trying to get a plate of fries Luke warm.. The Cesar salad was a bit pathetic with large ice burg chunks and no dressing. They took off the salad from our bill (as they should) and took off the "additional 4$ up charge for their fries that were stale and cold on each attempt. Last but not least they asked him if he wanted fudge on the complementary birthday vanilla scoop of ice cream (he said yes) It came out with a magnifying glass to see the cheap ghetto drop of chocolate on it. Came here with some friends after a night of mini golf. We opted to dine outside because the weather was perfect. :) From the moment we sat down, we were treated to an amazing dining experience. Andre, our server, was fantastic -- incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night. The Brussel sproutswere perfectly crispy with a touch of sweetness ( I requested for less glaze ) that made them totally addictive. My personal favorite may have been the Ahi poke stack- it was fresh and flavorful, beautifully balanced with just the right amount of seasoning. Then came the mac n cheese balls -- creamy, cheesy, crispy on the outside -- everything you'd want in a comfort food bite. And the truffle fries? Don't skip them. Super crispy fries with that rich, earthy cheesy truffle sauce was so addicting! For dessert we had the bourbon barrel cake and OMG It was just as impressive! The bourbon caramel sauce, candied pecans and vanilla bean ice cream just blended together so well. It was flavorful, and not overly sweet lol...the perfect end to our meal. Today's visit was excellent! By far the best since we've been coming (about 6 years). We returned because today is my baby's birthday and she requested Eureka. We recently had an issue that resulted in another gift card situation from Daniel. So with the gift card in hand, we returned. Presley was our server. Amazing service! All star all around. She should be training new hires. She was a true superstar. Tommy was the manager on duty. Talk about amazing follow through! He was attentive and checking on all patrons. He was helping those in need and really provided stellar service!! I didn't catch the young guy who subbed for Presley but he was great too. I used to go here all the time , but it had been about a year since I'd eaten here. This last time was so awful I don't plan on returning. My husband and I scraped money together for a date night , I ordered the Mediterranean salad with a SIDE of truffle fries. I specifically asked for a SIDE of the fries because the price difference was so dramatic and I didn't really want the large portion that was advertised to be a starter. The waitress seemed to be half listening the whole time, she didn't refill my husband's drink without us having to ask long after the glass had been empty. She also gave both my husband and I bad vibes, she was not friendly. When I ordered she said "you want them out at the same time as your salad or like as a starter?" I clarified that yes I wanted them on the side to have with my salad, using the word SIDE several times to be specific. When the food was brought out I thought the fries seemed to be a pretty average "side" portion based on other restaurants I've asked for them. When the end of the meal came they started doing this new thing where they don't leave the check with you, they read out loud your total to the whole restaurant and stand there while you choose their tip and finish the payment- VERY uncomfortable by the way. I tipped 18% I wasn't happy with the service and I thought the bill seemed high but was already uncomfortable so didn't say anything right away. I then looked over the itemized receipt I had texted to myself , I was charged for the starter fries instead of a side. I tried not to make a big deal about it, I just wanted the issue resolved by charging me what I asked for. Instead I was met with the question "didn't you notice it wasn't a side size?? " no apologies no attempt at empathy or understanding just judgement and disrespect. The manager was very condescending, didn't listen to a word I said made it my fault for not knowing the sizes of their dishes and offered me a pity $10 gift card for next time. I was more annoyed than anything, no idea why she had the attitude she did or why she didn't want to just listen to me speak- not yell- not be rude- just speak. When I said no thank you to the gift card she disappeared for about 10 minutes and came back saying she fixed it. Sure she changed the price of the fries but she also changed the tip to 20%. Thinking I wouldn't notice. Well I did and shame on her , my husband and I can hardly afford to go out as it is, we tried having a nice night only to be treated this way putting a huge damper on the evening. I will be discouraging everyone I meet to attend your establishment. A little empathy and listening goes a long way. read more

All good, but a few things. Not about the food because our food was all pretty good. We got sweet potato fries, green beans, kids chicken, chicken sandwich (spicy) burger, beer and more sweet potato fries because they're just that good. Only qualm was with the outside area. The deck is rickety and the chairs are cheap plastic lawn chairs. I kept thinking my kids chair would tip over as they wiggles around in it. The deck tables could use a DEEP CLEAN, (see photo). We came on Sat night to celebrate my niece's birthday, so we were a large party. This was my first time here and have to say the parking was a bit challenging but enjoyed the outside seating since it was a beautiful night. The ambiance is lively and festive and our servers were very attentive and courteous. We ordered drinks and I had the Moscow mule, it was very good and well crafted. Now about the most important part of the dining experience, the food. First the food selections were extremely limited, 80% of choices were burgers and other plates were very high calorie entrees. I don't eat meat and try to eat healthy so I ordered the Eureka salad with chicken. Unfortunately the chicken was bland and had no flavor. My wife ordered the mandarin chicken salad and she didn't like it either. So two thumbs down on their salads. However I did order the Ahi Poke Stack and that was delicious.
