Eureka! never misses every time I stop by! This spot is serving up some awesome elevated American classics. This location is at the Claremont Packing House in Downtown Claremont. There is street parking all around or also garage parking as well. Inside, they have a lively and classy setup with a good amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by for a late dinner around 10pm and were seated right away. We ended up getting the Fresno Fig Burger and the Double Smash Burger. Both burgers were delicious and definitely tasted more gourmet and elevated compared to your average diner burger. Overall, this spot has been a go to date night spot for us regardless of which city we are in. Most of their locations are typically open til pretty late and this one is open til midnight! There was hardly ANY chips on the plate and when you think of nachos you think of them stacked high. Nope, flat as the plate they were on. They were also bathed in sauce so whatever chips we did have on there were soggy. The pulled pork, no flavor. We visited Eureka! for the first time today, and while there were some positives, the overall experience left much to be desired. Cleanliness & Seating: We were seated fairly quickly, which was great. However, our table and seats were noticeably dirty upon arrival. Being placed between two large parties made things worse--on one side, we had a relatively quiet table of adults, but on the other side were several toddlers who were loudly crying, screaming, and throwing food, some of which ended up near us and on the floor. I understand that families dine out too, but it would've been appreciated to be seated in a more balanced area, especially given the size of the restaurant. Staff & Service: The staff was overall pleasant. We were initially greeted and helped by someone other than our server--she was very friendly and took our drink and food orders efficiently. Our actual server was also kind but clearly busy. At one point, she brought us a jug of water that was dirty, but she handled our request for a clean one promptly and without issue. My husband's meal arrived several minutes before mine, but the manager did stop by to apologize for the delay, which I appreciated. It showed they care about their customers' experience. Food & Ambience: The food was the highlight. My husband enjoyed his burger and especially loved the truffle cheese fries. I had the honey sweet potato fries, which were also excellent. Unfortunately, the ambience was very loud and chaotic--not ideal for a relaxed dining experience. I first heard about Eureka! from a Yelp 818 event. They had samples of their brussel sprouts. They were so good. I fell in love with them. So every time I find a Eureka!, I have to eat there. So here I am with my eldest daughter at Eureka! Claremont on a Friday night... I've only been to Eureka! Redlands prior to here. I knew which appetizers to get... crispy glazed brussel sprouts and honey-cinnamon sweet potato fries are a must. As for main dish, I went with the spicy crispy chicken sandwich + arugala salad and Eureka! burger substitute grilled chicken + fries (latter item is just $12 from hoppy hour 3pm - 6pm... what a yummy deal!). My son and I were contemplating dinner ideas and yelp guided us to this restaurant. It was busy but, we somehow were seated immediately and we were greeted by our waiter. To start we wanted to check out the Mac n cheese balls since our waiter recommended them. My only complaint is I wished we ordered two servings! They are lightly battered and super cheesy, we devoured them! I highly recommend them. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger. I added lettuce and tomato and it was delicious despite ordering it well done. The burger has this char or smokiness to it and I ate the entire thing! My son ordered the Eureka Burger with fries and he also inhaled his meal in minutes. The burgers are simple but, delicious. This was a nice place to go to. It was similar to a small burger joint although it can be considered a big chain and comparable to TGI Fridays or Yard House. The BBQ bacon was delicious, portion size was just right, although can be pretty expensive. But other than that, the food was pretty good, fries were pretty crunchy and the medium rare burger was right, at least this time. Like the design of the place, it was the old rustic feel with incandescent bulbs and exposed ceiling joists and such. The only thing I didn't like was the table we sat at seemed a little too close together since the servers running around so quickly generating so much wind and can brush up to you from time to time. I mean fast service is nice, but it just was a lot of gusty winds generated from humans moving around, it was funny. We had a reservation for 7 people for their Sunday afternoon lunch rush. We were seated quickly in a nice indoor/outdoor table with the patio doors open to enjoy the beautiful sunny afternoon. Our server was very attentive and made personal connections through members of our group while offering great suggestions on their drink specials. My husband does not eat red meat, but he thoroughly enjoyed his spicy chicken sandwich. Served with a side of pickles and coleslaw that I got to enjoy with my burger. Went there for lunch today. Very cool area old packing district converted to shopping and restaurants. Wednesday they had a smash burger special for nine dollars and included the Smashburger and fries. Both were excellent. We also tried the peach iced tea. It was fantastic. I asked for a refill to go. They said they don't usually do that but they did. For $6.50 a glass, I think one refill would be nice. I think he must've been the manager. He did come over and give us a refill, which was nice. We didn't ask. Our server was great The only reason I give it four stars was it probably took 5 to 10 minutes before somebody came to our table. read more

Located on the first floor of the Claremont Packing House, there are ample parking outside and in the garage next door. The place is always busy the few times I've visited. Noise level is somewhat loud but still able to hold a conversation (just have to project your voice). Definitely going to order them again! My friend had the Crispy Veggie Beet - house-made beet and kidney bean patty, house pickles, tomatoes, onions, arugula, tart lemon vinaigrette. I'm not vegetarian but I would order this next time. It was tasty! The beet taste wasn't overpowering and the patty had a nice crunch.
