Came here recently to grab a bite to eat during their happy hour! I ordered a chardonnay and some artichoke dip. I love all things artichoke and with chips is always my go to appetizer. Since I was treating this more like a dinner, I also ordered the Mac and cheese balls and the chicken tenders. My friend and I shared everything and really enjoyed the food. The mac and cheese balls had a nice kick of spice to them. The chicken tenders had a tasty breading and really good chicken. They also bring you ketchup, honey mustard and ranch, which I love because I can never make up my mind on what sauce I prefer. Wow, I have never had a more disappointing meal before. I honestly thought my sister was joking when she said my meal was nonexistent. I ordered the seared salmon that was supposed to come with puree potatoes, green beans and a side. From what I got vs what they advertise online is night and day and I was missing beans. The salmon was 2/3 smaller than what was pictured and the potatoes came in a tiny sauce container. For my side I ordered elote and it was decently sized but was doused in lime juice. Overall the entire meal was really salty. My neice's kids meal was bigger and 1/4 of the cost. Stay away from this place if you value your money. read more

We were visiting Legoland and decided we would go out to eat for dinner. Eureka is about 10 mins away from Legoland. Service was excellent and the food was really good. We ordered chicken nachos, Mac and cheese balls, the cowboy burger and a kid's cheese burger. Everything came out hot and perfect. The burgers and Mac and cheese balls were the stars of the show. My husband, who wasn't hungry, ate all the Mac and cheese balls and half my burger. My picky eater kid took one bite of the burger and said it was really good. If she likes it, it means it is a good burger. The vibe is also very good. There is indoor and outdoor seating and everything is opened to the outside. There is a fire going and heat lamps outside. It feels a little dark and romantic. I could see this place being a good girls night place or date spot. read more

My son and stopped by Eureka! on a SAT afternoon while doing errands. We both ordered burgers and drinks and everything we really great. I got the Cowboy Burger with a Blonde Ale and it was perfect a combo. My son ordered the Charcoal Lemonade and it was a unique flavored that we both loved. Don't get to-go's unless you want your food cold, oh and btw if you get a salad and burger just be warned that your salad and burger are going to be shoved into a box together. Amazing location and lovely dining both inside and outside. We have gone here since it opened. Fire pits are awesome. It seems it is now a family restaurant. Lots and lots of children running all over. We went in the evening around 7 pm on a Friday night and it was not relaxing. I got hit with a soccer ball on the way into the restaurant. Children were playing hide and seek all over the property and being children, they were screaming and yelling. They have a lovely ambiance but this really ruined it for us. I do not recommend for a date night. It was just too noisy. When did it become a Chucky Cheese there. Once you allow it to become a family dining experience, it's just another family restaurant. It's no longer special. The menu has changed. They changed the desserts. The old ones were much better. Bring them back. The fish tacos also changed. They used to be amazing. Everything fell out of the shell onto my plate. I ate them with a fork. Bring back the old menu, please. Food used to be better. Our waitress was adorable and sweet. She provided us good service. Checked this place out for the first time on Saturday night. What a cool spot that I didn't know existed in Carlsbad. I was recommended the double smash burger with bacon and it was the bomb. Also had an old fashioned which was made right and we had some desert for my friends birthday. They even put a candle on top for us! As you can see in the picture it is a super cool spot to hang out. Delicious lunch spot! Stopped by here about 1130 on a Tuesday. Parking was easy and the place was very modern with a cool hipster vibe. Customer Service - Seated immediately outside and the waitress, Sheila, was great. She was friendly, helpful and not overly friendly or bugging. The food came out quickly and exactly how we ordered it. We were actually given complimentary brussel sprouts! I don't know why but they were so good and we will order them next time. Food - So good! You don't necessarily need to like burgers but that is the main dish here. Fortunately all 3 of us eating wanted a burger! LOL We ordered the Fresno Fig Burger, Bison Burger w/ Mac balls, and the Eureka American Cheeseburger. They all looked amazing and we loved them each. I had the Bison burger and it was so good! The chile, jalapeno jam and caramelized onions complimented the delicious meat perfectly. The mac balls were also very good. Oh and the glazed brussel sprouts! YUM Perfectly cooked and the orange chile glaze and chimichurri went together so well. Overall this place was amazing. We recently were in Carlsbad on a mini staycation. We have eaten at the location in San Diego at SDSU several times so we decided to come here . The atmosphere was wonderful. Beautiful night outside open patio dinning was really nice. Bridget was our waitress and she was amazing. Super friendly and very attentive. (I was very impressed as we have had not great service at the other location). We had two appetizers the poke, and the macaroni bites. Both delicious. Our party ate fish tacos, the Fresno burger(always delicious) and a ahi salad. Our food was excellent. This experience restored my original opinion of the restaurant. We will definitely come back and even drive the 30 min to come to this location. read more

It was nice balance of flavours with notes of vanilla and coffee. The food menu concentrates mainly on burgers and sandwiches. All looked good from the description. I ordered chicken sandwich with bacon and pesto aioli. Fried chicken breast was juicy and well seasoned. We also ordered jalapeño egg burger with chipotle sauce. Burger patty was cooked medium well as ordered. The sauce was a bit on the garlicky side. Unfortunately they didn't have Ahi Tuna Poke Stak for starters that we were looking forward to to sample. We opted for chicken wings with variety of sauces. The wings were succulent. The only downside was that the restaurant was understaffed and we had to wait a bit for our waiter to come and take our orders. The staff came to apologise for the delay which was nice. Been here a ton of times since discovering it a few months ago when this location opened. Ambience is there, low dim lighting, versatile seating arrangements whether you want to sit at the bar. A table, booth, or even a couch. Food is always on point and delicious. Drinks are well made, I've found getting them to the table is the longest thing you wait for here but still not bad, and you'll get a buzz. The staff is so welcoming and nice. The interior decoration was nicely done with a rustic interior. The exterior was warm with a bonfire and many heat lamps so it was warm even on a cold night. Both drinks were well picked and crafted. The pride cocktail was bursting with flavor and well garnished. One of my party members love peaty scotch however they don't serve scotch here. They only serve American made whiskey, but the waiter was very helpful and offered peaty whiskey which was amazing. The service is amazing. We were seated quickly and our waiter was fun and welcoming. The food took a bit of time to come out, however once it did, it was worth every minute. The food was perfect and beautifully plated. LOVE - great date night location Third time returning here with friends for a pretty early dinner around 5pm. There was no wait and the ambiance was great. They have a short waitlist for later times too when it gets busy. Our waitress was wonderful and service at Eureka is always great. The dining room is on the darker side lit w fireplaces on the exterior and dim but not-too-dark lights inside. The music is just right and isn't overpowering. Their house made craft cocktails and drinks are a must and if you have any questions, the wait staff will give great recommendations. Within 5 minutes of ordering our appetizer (beats & feta) it was on the table. Right when we finished our main dishes came out. Fresno Fig Burger had a ton of flavor - sweet potato fries were fresh made! We weren't a huge fan of the cinnamon on them though. The Napa Chicken Sandwich was delicious! A few non-alcoholic cocktail options to boot. Both the burger and chicken sandwiches were delicious and fairly reasonably priced for the area. Side salad was greeeat as a side for the burger (no gluten free fryer, alas), avocado slices and everything. Nice ambiance, a little too hip and dark, but pleasant. Once again got the fried Mac and cheese balls. Amazing! Still the best I've ever had. Also pack a bit of heat. Now on to the Burgers- I had the bone marrow burger. Literally like fine aged beef with a bone marrow sauce on a bun. One of the top ten Burgers of my lifetime. Just excellent. Everyone at the table said the same thing. We had a Bison burger, a classic cheese burger, the cowboy BBQ, and the mushroom truffle burger, and a steak salad. Everyone raved about theirs, and no one offered to share. So good. I upgraded to their cheese fries, (not the official name) and would recommend them too. I would also say our server did a great job, but I forgot her name and a friend picked up the check so I don't have a receipt. Great job and great place! read more

Went today for lunch the first time. I was drawn here for the burgers made from carrot feed cows. The burgers and fries were very good. I had the fig burger, which was pretty amazing. The fig added sweetness and the goat cheese a creamy added bite. It had a nice grilled charred taste. I got the fries with it, they were nicely season with sea salt everyone else in Mt group had the same burger. I also sampled the truffle fries and the spicy ginger green beans.
