Lipstick on water cups! Gross! So gross.
    Tia M.

Was in a rough looking area. Looked condemned. Had a coupon so that's what brought us there. Lady seemed aggravated we were there. Maybe she had a bad day and was upset, but it seemed she was aggravated. She sat us and left and didn't come back. The table had some crumbs on it. No napkins on tables so I couldn't even clean it myself. Dining area was empty. Completely empty but 4 or 5 ppl were at the bar. A man came, was really nice and polite but must have just got back from a smoke break. He was so polite and was there for such a short time, was no need to say anything. My daughter and I are allergic, she wasn't close to him and I just ordered fast. So not really an issue. We ordered and he left. Took a while but eventually the food came. Kids meal looked great. Kraft Mac n cheese was as it is in all restaurants, Kraft tasting. My girl loved it. She's a huge Kraft Mac n cheese fan. We stopped getting it years ago because we eat healthy at home but while out we let the kids choose, it's like a little treat while out. She opted for fruit and it looked good but unfortunately it was slimy, I tried it and it had something added to it, it was slimy indeed, we didn't eat it, plus milk was warm, so gross but eventually the gentleman returned and we asked if we could switch milk for juice instead and he was fine with that. Apple juice was fine. No refills though. He didn't return for refills. Hamburger was decent. Asked for them to not have creams nor sauce, just plain cheese, tomato, lettuce and Mayo on side, but they still put the sauce on them. Thankfully the sauce wasn't too bad so we ate without complaint because we were hungry. Tomatoes were incredibly thick. I didn't mind but you may. Crab cakes were weird. Tasted frozen, thawed in microwave, mushy. Zero crisp to the crust. Mushy n soggy. Avoid the Crab cakes. Served on liquidy slaw. It had an Off flavor. Two bites in, I decided this will get one sick. So I didn't try more. We never saw the lady again and the man wasn't seen but when he brought the food, not sure where they went or who was serving at the bar but it was such an odd atmosphere. The coupon shows it as a restaurant but don't trust the photos, it's as the name suggests, a bar but I doubt that grill part, the food all seemed nuked. Nothing was grilled. Even though they have a restaurant area, it was deserted and rightly so. The gentleman I'd imagine is a great bartender, I don't drink so I guess I'm not the best to say, but the few moments with us he was friendly and respectful, but we waited a LONG time for our food and then even longer for the bill. So maybe he was bartending out of sight. Seems only the lady that never returned to the restaurant and the man that was mostly out of sight the whole time were it. The worse part of the lunch... Lipstick on water cups! Gross! So gross. The cup also had a smudge of something on it and I didn't want to guess what it could be. Definitely not a repeat place. Lady not welcoming, customers are forgotten, frozen/box to microwave food. Place wasn't clean, dishes not clean. Hamburger edible when really hungry, Kraft fine for kiddos, but not worth the risk when seeing how dirty things were.

Good food, good value and great service! Went on Mother's Day for breakfast and it was nice not to have to wait and was seated right away. Jason, who also bartends, served us and he was great! He was very friendly & efficient. We ordered the French toast combo and the Mainstream breakfast. Food came out in a timely manner and each dish did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Jason did a great job checking in on us, always making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a really good experience. Definitely a hidden gem with a friendly & welcoming ambiance. Highly recommend! We'll be back for the "breakfast shot!"

Food is good ,service was great Laura makes a good drink and serves them with a smile. The back patio is dog friendly. The vibe is casual and not to stuffy.

Ambiance - nice ha gout with plenty of parking and seats and outside patio Service- fair..took awhile to checkout but that's because only one server and the other group took awhile Foodn- we thought it was Greek but it was mostly different foods and great happy hour. Huy one grt one free. The mozzarella sticks and nachos were amazing. I also got a tostado salad. Great portion size.

They have their own parking lot in front of the restaurant. We went for a late lunch and we were acknowledged immediately. It is free seating. And they let us know the moment we stepped in. There is seating available both inside and outside. Just a point to note: The seating is pretty close together. So if there was a party that is very loud. Their chatter/ laughter can reverberate and echo and still be an annoyance. The server was wonderful. We had initially picked a seat inside but due to the loud chatter from a neighbouring table, we moved to the patio and I was glad we did. We got served immediately after we sat down. We ordered a strawberry margarita for me and a blonde ale for the hubs. Drinks came within 5 minutes. She gave us a bit of time and circled back around to check on us. Then we ordered our lunch Hubs ordered the grande nachos and I ordered the veggie spring rolls. Food came quite quickly. Veggie spring rolls were freshly fried. Crispy but the taste was a little bland. The Thai chilli sauce was a good condiment. The spring rolls were probably from frozen. The grande nachos were good. All the ingredients In there were fresh except for the chips. The steak meat was very good tender and delicious. Minor issues that can be easily rectified. Overall service was the great plus point here Also they are dog friendly on the patio and a very nice chill place to be overall.

We had lunch on the patio today. Ordered nachos minus the sour cream and the vegi egg rolls. The egg rolls were good. Great taste and hot. The nachos overall were good but the chips were stale.

Went in here for lunch. Formerly a Greek place. Good conversion to a American style grill. We had a BLT on cressant roll with salad and a Bison burger patty melt. Both done to perfection and the chef gets the patty melt and grills bread and patty . Salads were just right. Washed it down with Arnold Palmer and coffee. Excellent service! Clean and well maintained. We will be back for happy hour! Try it you'll like it!

We stopped in her for the last 10 minutes of Super Bowl . Place was poppin.Wished we had come earlier as they had great super bowl specials. We had the apple crumble for dessert and wine. It was great.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday. The place was mostly empty, just our table and a couple of people at the bar. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The server was loud and seemed unhappy to be there, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Service was slow, and the food just wasn't good. Definitely not a place I'd come back to for breakfast. My daughter ended up having food poisoning from her classic egg Benedict dish.

Repeat customer here. Given the consistency of the food, service, ambiance & value, this establishment was due for a review. Jason has been our server/host the last two visits. He is a pleasant gentleman who can masterfully offer great service and friendly conversation while serving about Six occupied tables and a bar! He can carry a pleasant convo with families with young kids on their way to Legoland, older fellas stopping in for a bite and local couples having a casual meal post-church. Jason's excellent service is coupled with a nice menu at reasonable prices. I had the Mainstream Breakfast with the eggs (3), bacon, and pancakes. I had the same order the last two times, because I had to confirm what I am about to opine here...The Mainstream Pancakes are better than the pancakes at the Village Pie Shop...As an old POTUS would say: "No Joke!" Don't want to start nothing...but there, I said it. We have yet to visit their PM fare and Happy Hour, but it has become a breakfast destination for us. Thank you, Jason!

Drink orders arrived fast and our order was taken soon after getting our drinks. I ordered the Tombstone which is their Western cheeseburger, Two 1/4 lb. patties, bacon, grilled onion, cheddar cheese, AHB BBQ Sauce, topped with onion rings on a brioche bun with a side of onion rings. The portions were huge and the burger was cooked perfectly. The onion rings were pretty standard for what you'd expect but were tasty and a big portion. Beer selection was great and we enjoyed our lunch here. Highly recommended!

I was soooo excited about the Philly connection, as I'm very familiar with cheesesteaks having lived near Philly in a past life. Well, I was sorely disappointed. We were told that the bread is flown in daily from Philly. Well, I don't know where it's coming from because it's definitely not the same bread as what they normally use there. The sandwich and meat were dry and flavorless. Totally underwhelming unfortunately. So then we saw that they made key lime pie there too! Again, I was SUPER excited because key lime pie is my favorite dessert of all time. And again...disappointment. I took one glance and saw that it was light green in color and knew I was gonna be mad. Yall, Key lime pie is yellow. You should NEVER add food coloring. That's just gross and inaccurate. The texture and flavor were also off. Texturally it was way too thick and dense, which would have been fine if it actually tasted like key lime. But it was severely lacking in that tart key lime flavor that it's known for. I'd definitely go back because of the service and vibe. But I'll maybe try a burger and the cheesecake instead.

Just wanted to write this review to say a BIG THANK YOU to Draft Republic in SM for having a…read morespeakeasy pop-up for the movie, Wicked. I'm a huge Wicked fan and was excited to see this event advertised on Yelp. This restaurant was the only one in North County I can think of that acknowledged the movie when it was about to be in theaters. First of all, it was easy to get to based on my GPS but kind of challenging to find their parking lot. I ended up finding a 2-hour parking on N. City Drive which was in walking distance. All I was thinking of while walking up to Draft Republic is that this place is massive. Inside, the hostesses verbally instructed me where to go...came across bowling...arcade games...sports on tvs on my way. Behind the curtains, I entered the room in awe. Draft Republic really went ALL OUT!! The Wicked witchy vibe was sooo magical. I loved the beautifuuul Elphaba/Glinda decorations, cleverly creative themed menu option names, actual movie playing in the background, and the take-home momentos. Nick and staff were super wickedly friendly too. The Wicked Bites, Grimmerie Shots and Wickedest Cocktails were all FANTASTIC!!! I definitely tasted Draft Republic's wickedness. I appreciated everything about this experience....well well done. What a WICKED TIME! I hope there are more speakeasy pop-ups in the near future :-)

I want to start by saying that for whatever my opinion matters (and it should matter very little),…read morethis is just how I came away feeling about this place. Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.
