My son said the grilled chicken sandwich was the best he's ever had. My husband enjoyed the buffalo wings, and we all thought the Portuguese pineapple sausage and jalapeño cheddar sausages were fabulous. The Padres game was on the TVs inside which was perfect. Service was good and the place is decorated in sports decor. They have a mustard bar and they give you a name (someone else's, like a tv character) rather than a number for your order. The place had a lot of character. We enjoyed it a lot and will definitely come back. We sat inside but the patio was also lovely and inviting.

It was relatively empty of day drinkers so we were able to chit-chat and joke around with Tab. Just a fun, old-school dive bar.

At 1:35am, while I was literally holding my drink and finishing it before leaving, a bartender grabbed the drink out of my hand, touched me, and slammed it on the bar, saying they were closing. No warning. No respect. Just physical, aggressive behavior. I'm a woman visiting from out of town, and I've never had a bartender put their hands on me to make a point. It was shocking, unnecessary, and honestly pretty intimidating. If you want people out by a certain time, use your words. Don't snatch drinks out of customers' hands like you're throwing someone out of a house party. Totally unprofessional.

I visited during Halloween weekend and, since I was the designated driver, I ended up finding a spot just a street down--it was surprisingly easy! This was my first time visiting any of the bars in Encinitas, and my friend had recommended this place, so I was really excited to check it out. The line was out the door probably due to Halloween, and the cover was $20, which is on the pricier side. I'm not sure how busy it gets on a regular weekend, but it was definitely packed when we arrived. The space itself was great, with good music, lots of people dancing, and a lively crowd overall. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely consider coming back on another weekend.

My friends and I tried walking from State Beach in Encinitas, it was about a 13-minute walk, but I wouldn't recommend it. The path smelled pretty bad, likely because of the seals and trash in the area. Once we arrived, we were quickly settled in. The restroom was clean and decent, and we loved how spacious the place felt. There's a nice outdoor area where people can hang out and drink, as well as an indoor section with a pool table. We tried some of their margaritas, which were absolutely delicious, and really enjoyed the ambiance. The staff was friendly, the service was great, and the overall vibe made it a fun spot to visit. Once inside, you don't notice the outdoor smell, so that's a plus. I'd definitely stop by again.

My friends and I actually walked here, and since I've never really been to many bars in Encinitas, I was excited to try this place out. When we got there, our IDs were checked, and right away my friend needed to use the restroom. There are two bathrooms next to each other, one clearly labeled "Women," and the other labeled as an all-gender restroom, which should be open to anyone. We got in line, and when someone came out of the all-gender bathroom, we assumed it was fine to use. But as soon as we went in, a security guard aggressively opened the door and started yelling at us. It was honestly really unsettling. He claimed it was a men's bathroom, even though the sign clearly said all-gender. To make things worse, a random person walked into the bathroom while we were inside, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable. The security guard then blamed the confusion on the owner, saying they "forgot to put up a men's sign," which didn't make any sense given the labeling. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences my friends and I have had. The situation felt disorganized, the security guard was extremely unprofessional, and the staff didn't seem to care at all. We didn't even get the chance to try the drinks or food because this happened right away. I would not recommend coming here. It seems like they don't have things properly managed, and the experience was just awful from the start.

It's who you're with I believe that to be true most of the time a lot of times it has me where you're at and this is one of those places where you're at like we just were creating stories up about this place and it has so much history... So, if you're from out of state, be prepared to be asked for a "secondary" ID or they will refuse you service. Insane!
