When I called to get info from them, someone picked up right away & answered all my questions. I was told I could come in without an appt so I went in the next morning when they opened. It turns out I was right & it was just a TPMS sensor so they replaced it & I was back on the road about 20 mins after I walked in. They were very reasonably priced & stuck to their estimate. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5: I have a neurological condition that sometimes affects how I talk. When I was checking in, I told the man the make & model of my car & he couldn't understand me. He asked me 3x before he finally understood what I was saying. He started laughing & said he had never heard anybody pronounce the names the way I had. Then he imitated the way I said the names. I apologized for the confusion & explained that I'm in speech therapy but he kept chuckling. I wanted to sink through the floor. I would like to be very clear to state that I don't think he was being malicious in any way. I think he was just genuinely amused & didn't realize how he was coming across. I will be going back to Tetrault for other tire issues as they come up & would recommend them to others. They did good work at a reasonable price & were super quick about it. Having said that, I'm still pretty upset & embarrassed about what happened. It's made more me self-conscious & anxious about talking to people because I'm now worried others are going to react like he did.

    I had a piece of molding underneath my car come loose. I had been here before, to have my oil…read morechanged, I trusted their work and they were open on a Sunday so I brought it in. They clipped the piece of molding back on for me, and didn't charge me. Since I had been here before, I also asked them to do another oil change. When I picked up the car from the oil change, there was a problem. The oil pressure light, and the check engine light were on. The oil level was good, so I took the car home, and then the following morning, I took the car into a separate shop for a second opinion on what was wrong When they ran the check engine light, it said that the oil pressure sensor was stuck. Apparently what had happened, was during the oil change, a prong from the oil filter had broken loose,, and it was blocking the oil pressure sensor. I went back to Firestone and spoke to the manager. I'm sorry I didn't write down his name He called over to the second shop where my car was, and the mechanic at the second shop explained in detail what had happened. Based on the situation and the explanation, the manager. At Firestone agreed to cover the cost of Getting my car fixed. The sensor situation was fixed with no out-of-pocket cost to myself. As I mentioned, I had been here for oil changes, quite a few times before, and nothing had ever happened. I get it, unfortunately, sometimes things happen. It's not that something happened, it's how the shop handled the situation. They absolutely took care of it to my satisfaction, I got my car fixed, and I would still bring it in for an oil change again. Thank you for taking care of me.

The price they quoted for the parts was approximately 100% more than the actual retail cost. The error code indicated that one of the converters had failed. They decided to change, and charge, for both. In addition the price they quoted for replacing a cabin air filter was $74 for the filter, and $24 for labour. The filter actually costs $11. I called and they told me the cost of the parts are what they are charged by Auto Zone. Of course when I checked on Auto Zone this turned out to be incorrect. My perception is that they tried to take advantage of somebody who has very little experience in dealing with car issues. A really terrible experience.

    Kind of torn on this one. I went to Northwood, pre approved for financing from GM. So I filled the…read moreonline prequal and sent them the letter through gm online. The next day I find out my credit had been ran seven times, and again by gm, who had already offered me a loan... so I made an appt. went in two days later in person i said, "look I'm a year out of a 3 year bankruptcy, and I've worked tirelessly to get my credit score back over 700. I have a letter here from GM. I've been approved for 36k or less so rather than shop around for a loan I'd rather take this offer while you have a few cars that fit the bill." I was told by my salesman who was green AF, that's not how it works here, the finance guy makes all those decisions. I was told I could not speak to him at all. I feel like I should have walked right then, but they had the exact car I was looking for so, i said lets look at what you can do. I filled out some forms, which was odd, because they had already run my credit 7 times, but i assumed they knew what they were doing. they ran my credit to 6 loan companies and gm... again...all dinging off on my phone as it was happening. As I'm literally showing the sales rep saying wtf you guys just dinged my credit 14 times in three days when I already came with loan approval from gm in hand? this was not a prequal letter, it was a loan approval. I later brought this up to the finance guy who I was not allowed to speak with for an hour and he comes out and says "we'll we got you approved with GM" he said "Don't worry your score will drop like a rock but anyone important will know you were shopping for a car" - ok d.b. we'll my score went from 730 to 598 in 1 week because I have too many credit enquiries, and I came prepared to not have this happen. You guys need to listen to your customers, as you work for us remember? meanwhile the car wasn't detailed and there are quite a few spots with window sticker type sticky that needs to be professionally cleaned and buffed off. So they said, come by on Sat. So I did... But it turns out the detail guy wasn't in, and wasn't going to be. so I've been told now they will detail my car, and buff that sht out when the new plates come in, whenever that is. So I have a brand new car that desperately needs a wash and detail, and they owe me one... Judging by the reviews Im not sure if i should even let you guys service my vehicle which is free under the warranty I paid extra for... I'm the greatest customer ever, easy going, come with all the resources to get the job going, I don't ask much, I'm never rude, and I just want to be treated fairly.. I'm buying the first new car in my entire life, it should be a great and fulfilling experience. I should walk away excited, and happy as its the f#$king american dream!. but the only taste I have in my mouth is I shouldn't have bought here... 2 stars for my kick a$$ Chevy!! 1 because Hunter tried his very best...

He needs an attitude adjustment bad! He had her signing papers and was literally trying to cover the words so she couldn't read what she was signing. So disappointed do better!
