We pulled over and called our RV insurance, but while waiting for a callback, I started calling around town to see if anyone could help us sooner. It was already 3pm, and unfortunately every place I called told me to come back the next morning. Since we were just traveling through in our camper van, waiting wasn't really an option. We just wanted to safely continue on to our campsite. When I called Old Town Auto Service, they didn't hesitate at all, just told us to stop by and they'd take a look right away. We drove over, and they got our Promaster Solis Pocket up on the lift immediately! They quickly found the issue: a small rock had gotten wedged between the rotor and the heat shield. Simple fix, but a huge relief. We were in and out with the problem completely resolved before our RV insurance even called back to say they were still trying to find a technician for us. 5 stars all the way! The staff was friendly, the shop was clean, and they treated us with respect, even for such a small issue. It's a big deal to find a place willing to work on our van without hesitation. If you need anything in Eureka, I highly recommend.

I had had my oil changed at another shop in town, and afterwards, I had a check engine light and an…read moreoil pressure light come on. I brought it in here for a second opinion to figure out what was wrong. The person I was working with was Brian. Brian ran the code, and it said that the oil pressure sensor was stuck in the open position. As he got into the diagnosis, apparently when the other shop did the oil change, a prong from the oil filter had broken off, and was blocking the oil pressure sensor. I went back over to the other shop, and spoke to the manager. The manager called over to Brian to find out exactly what had happened, and Brian went over it in detail. Based on what had happened, the manager at the other shop agreed to cover the cost of repairs to get my car back on the road. My car got fixed with no out-of-pocket cost to myself, and even though it was only three days before Christmas, when I brought my car in, Brian had my car ready the following morning. Two days before Christmas. I highly recommend this shop. They will take very good care of you. Thank you to Brian for getting my car done, and for having my back in this situation. I can't recommend this shop enough.

Synthetic Oil change at very decent price bringing in my preferred oil. He even took the time to ride in the vehicle with me to diagnose a torn boot on the front drive shaft that he fixed up along with some other repairs to insure my trip all the way back to the east coast on the beach went safely which it did. Collusion with their next-door neighbor tow truck company led to a huge fraud case on me!…read more first of I have AAA So when I called a tow truck and my battery Needed to be replaced or charged the tow company. Neglected to check that. He then said he would tell my car to his friends shop. It ended up at auto Masters. They said it needed to be plugged in and the battery needed some charging. It took 2 to 3 days for me to locate where my car even was. I had not given AutoMASTER's permission to do anything, yet wanted to charge me nearly $200 just for plugging in the battery and giving it some power. I explain the situation and the store owner, a female told me that she could "make my car hers" If I didn't pay her bill demands. My family ended up having to pay the bill because it was so ridiculous and I could not afford such a high bill and was going to have to go to AAA for reimbursement. Even after the bill was paid, auto masters tried to take me to court. The whole thing is so ridiculous and stupid. Do not trust this auto shop. Beware, they are scammers and they Seem to think that any cars on their lot could "potentially be theirs" Go elsewhere!!
