I recently went here because my dashboard tire pressure light was on but I didn't have any flats so I thought maybe I needed to replace a TPMS sensor. When I called to get info from them, someone picked up right away & answered all my questions. I was told I could come in without an appt so I went in the next morning when they opened. It turns out I was right & it was just a TPMS sensor so they replaced it & I was back on the road about 20 mins after I walked in. They were very reasonably priced & stuck to their estimate. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5: I have a neurological condition that sometimes affects how I talk. When I was checking in, I told the man the make & model of my car & he couldn't understand me. He asked me 3x before he finally understood what I was saying. He started laughing & said he had never heard anybody pronounce the names the way I had. Then he imitated the way I said the names. I apologized for the confusion & explained that I'm in speech therapy but he kept chuckling. I wanted to sink through the floor. I would like to be very clear to state that I don't think he was being malicious in any way. I think he was just genuinely amused & didn't realize how he was coming across. I will be going back to Tetrault for other tire issues as they come up & would recommend them to others. They did good work at a reasonable price & were super quick about it. Having said that, I'm still pretty upset & embarrassed about what happened. This used to be the best tire center in Eureka. It is clear with the change of ownership this is no longer the case. I used to trust this business, but not so anymore. I found it quite convenient they don't have the generic tire that is less expensive available today, but they can order it. Here, we have this tire available and it is only going to cost $200 more for the 4 and you can have them today! Went to Firestone and got a deal and save over $300 even if they had the tires! We just happened to stop for gas across the driveway from Tetrault. Our tire warning light was on and we needed gas so we filled the tank, found the low tire, and pumped it up. Then we noticed the nail in the tire. 200 miles from home with 100 miles to go, we hoped for the best and found it at Tetrault. I took my vehicle in for a free inspection for alignment and was told it was $70 if it needed an alignment. I recently replaced my control arm and switch two bolts up on accident. After 15 minutes of their time they'd said they couldn't do anything and they pulled it off of the rack. Then hes apparently gonna charge me a racking fee. I figured it couldn't be that much come to find out it was a $50 bill. I now realize why all of their bays are completely empty when I drive by for years now. I won't not be going back at all ever. Turned out I had a damaged tire and Brent just took care of everything and put my mind at ease for the rest of my trip. I wish I could give them no stars. I took my 2015 Kia Sorento to them in January 2021 for tires and an alignment. I was contacted by Lee who let me know that my tire arms were bad and needed replaced and that he could not perform an alignment without them being replaced. $2800 later I am on the road. In July 2021 I took the same vehicle in for a oil change and tire rotation. Lee again called me to let me know that my entire brake system needed replacing, brakes, rotors, and calipers. He further let me know that the calipers were at cost $500 a piece not including labor and their mark up. Quoting me $2300 and change. I have not had any problem whatsoever with my brakes, no grinding, pulling, squeaking, etc. Being a female with little knowledge of car stuff, I took my Sorento to 2 other reputable service centers in town and both took me out and showed me what needed to be done. Both let me know that I had 5% in the front and 25-30% in the back. Rotors and calipers had no issues or concerns and were not recommended to be replaced. Women beware of this business. They prey on those that are not automotive savvy. read more

I have been a customer for seven years. I always get my tires and oil change here. I have never been disappointed. Earlier this week I came in and got an oil change. They forgot to add windshield washer fluid. No biggie, I figured I would run over before work and let them know. I came in this morning and found the lobby packed. As I walked in my phone rang and it was my boss. I let her know I had just stopped to get windshield washer fluid because it was forgotten at my oil change. But looking at the lobby I told her I would just come back when they didn't seem so busy. I talked to no one but my boss in my phone. My sister and I blew a tire in the mountains on our way to the coast. Luckily, we were able to put on our spare, and make it to Eureka. When we got there, we stopped in randomly to this place, just to inquire if it was safe to continue our trip and make it home. I don't know his name, but the man we spoke with was extremely kind and recommended that we switch the tires so that the spare tire was in the rear, rather than the front. They did it for us FREE of charge, and after we left we found out that they had been CLOSED the whole time. They wished us a safe journey home. We are in awe of their kindness and generosity! I had an appointment that we unfortunately had to cancel due to a medical emergency. I called back to reschedule, the man I spoke to was very rude to me, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. They schedule about a week out for brake inspections where as other places I've called can get me in within the next day or two. I chose here because I had a coupon to use, but I'd rather not have to sacrifice civil customer service just for a discount.... Customer service matters! I made an appointment at Tetrault several months ago and told them I would be using the "Free Front End Inspection Plus $10 Off Wheel Alignments" coupon that always comes in the local mailer. I thought I might need a wheel alignment, so I decided to try them out, as I had been seeing their coupons for years. When I showed up for the appointment, the mechanic asked me a few questions for his paperwork and then disappeared to check things out while I hung out in the waiting room. After half an hour or so, he came back in to tell me he couldn't do the alignment because all my control arms (upper and lower, both sides) were shot and needed to be replaced. He said he tried but just couldn't get the alignment to hold. (See Sande K.'s review, as they pulled the same stuff with her.) I was suspicious of this, and since I do most of my own car maintenance and repairs anyway, I declined the $1,400+ estimate, telling him I would do the repairs myself and possibly return for the alignment. As soon as I drove away, I noticed some noises from the front end that were not there before, basically rubber squeeking/rubbing type sounds that seemed to be worse when I turned the steering wheel. Everything seemed to be working okay other than those noises, so I figured things just needed to settle a bit after the mechanic "tried" to do an alignment. Because this vehicle does not get a ton of driving time, I kept putting off checking the control arms myself or getting a second opinion, only being reminded that I needed to do so each time I drove the car and noticed the noises were still present. This past weekend, at less than 2,000 miles since I had taken the vehicle to Tetrault, my wife and I were leaving from a local cultural event when I heard something different that sounded like a flat tire. I got out and checked, and, yes, it was a flat in the front left tire. I couldn't see any obvious signs of a puncture, so I tried airing the tire back up, but it wouldn't hold air. My wife went into the nearby gas station/mini-mart and purchased some Fix-A-Flat at a very high price, but that didn't work either. After some time, the Fix-A-Flat began leaking out onto the pavement, and that's when a stranger, who had stopped to try (unsuccessfully) to help me change the tire because I couldn't find the lug wrench that I normally carry in the vehicle, looked underneath on the inside and noticed the tire had a worn inner sidewall that had finally reached a point where it wouldn't hold air. That inside wear was the only significant wear on an otherwise good tire. I finally got AAA to come out, which took about two hours from the time I first called and involved another whole side thread of frustration and the kindness of strangers that I won't get into here. Even then, the AAA guy was ready to give up after he, like the other stranger who tried to help, had trouble getting the lug nuts off my specialized rims. Fortunately, I don't give up that easily, so I grabbed his lug wrench and jack arm and got the problem nuts off as he was prepping to call for a tow truck. He seemed relieved that I had solved the problem, and I let him finish changing to the spare, after which my wife and I were then able to cripple our way home. Today I did a bit of research and learned that the type of wear this tire had on the inside was indicative of a bad camber adjustment. While I cannot prove it, is my belief the camber adjustment was fine (or good enough) when I took it in to Tetrault -- it was only the toe adjustment that I thought was out -- and the mechanic left me with a really bad camber adjustment when I didn't sign up for his large repair bill. I believe his actions were what caused the squeaking/rubbing sounds I encountered after getting my car back, and that these actions caused wear to my tire that was not visible or obvious until it left my wife and me stranded for several hours and could even have caused a serious accident. Sande K.'s review tells me this is likely a pattern with this shop, and their "free" front-end inspection and discounted wheel alignment is probably just a ruse to get customers in the door and sell them something they don't really need, and when they decline, they leave their vehicle worse off than they found it. Again, I can't prove this, and it's only my opinion, but it is what I believe based on my own knowledge and experience. I will definitely not be returning to this shop, and I urge others to proceed with caution. read more

Disappointed! - So after leaving this review, a week later, Diane in the front desk contacted me trying to make things right. However, the tech named Lee was completely rude and argumentative.
