Me and my 5 friends came from out of town and had a very unsatisfactory experience. We started by getting sat and not getting greeted with menus or water for at least 20 minutes. Once we finally got our water, a few tasted it and had to spit it out because it tasted like residual alcohol which the waiter confirmed had been an addressed issue. The Cesar salad was unfortunately so terrible, the ribs tasted like rubber, the macaroni was watery and after dinner our stomachs hurt. Our waiter was kind and did his best but the quality of the food was terrible. Would not recommend and will not be going back. read more

ETown was recommended by the valet at the Ritz Carlton in Bachelor Gulch Resort. What a great recommendation! I had the Gyro, and fries, which I'm always a little skeptical of because I worked at an authentic Greek restaurant in my teenage years. this gyro didn't disappoint, the Tzatziki sauce was so fresh and amazing! I'm convinced it was made fresh there, as well as the ranch I had with my French fries. My friend had the pecan salad and loved it, she said the salmon was legit. read more

I had to kill about 2-3 hours on Sunday afternoon while my husband was snowboarding. Etown was the perfect choice since they have plenty of space for groups or singles like myself, plus there's a variety of food and wine to choose from. Rather than drink at the bar and attract random company, I brought a book and ordered food along with some wine. It still attracted a few conversations from friendly people, but nothing creepy. There was definitely not the "I'm single come talk to me vibe" being thrown out there. Ahi tuna salad was the perfect portion and had just the right amount of dressing, too. I took my time to finish, occasionally looking up from my book to take a bite. I'm not a huge avocado lover (for shame!) but the dressing, tuna, and lettuce all mixed together with avocado made for the perfect bite. There were young people at the bar, families in the booths, and a nice mix of locals and visitors during my 1-2 hour stint at Etown. Would do it again! read more

My friend's neighbor John took me on a Beaver Creek tour that money can't buy today. The cost: getting up real early, and finishing equally early. By one, we're done, and on our way to lunch. This was John's pick, and it's a good one. They were able to accommodate us pretty quickly. Our waitress Emily was friendly, cheerful, and professional, best example of good service in a casual dining environment in recent memory. We both had a salad. When I asked Emily what kind of lettuce they use on each of the salads (and there were 4 or 5), elaborating with my "I-hate-iceberg" spiel, she assured me - they don't even have iceberg on premise. I ended up with the chopped salad, while John went for the tuna (the only reason I didn't pick that was: I'm eating a lot of fish in my stay here already!. I had one of their closest-to-an IPA draught ($6), while John went for the 16-oz. blonde ale ($8). Great service, good food (I couldn't finish mine), and not quite Vail prices (cuz this is Edwards, folks!) Would go back if I get the chance. read more

We had a great lunch here with Krisann as our server. She was super friendly and genuine and provided great service. We thought she is someone we would be friends with. I had the chopped salad and my fella the friend chicken sandwich. Salad was delicious and pretty big! Sweet tots also and they were perfect. The chicken sandwich had a nice fry and the slaw was great. We felt that the sweet Thai chili sauce and the Buffalo sauce fought each other and didn't work flavor wise. The real star of the show was the pretzel and cheese dish! Man oh man. Best soft pretzel of our lives paired with sinfully delicious cheese sauce. Everytime we fly into Eagle-Vail airport, we always stop here for a meal on the way to Beaver Creek. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in Edwards, but Etown is consistently good, casual and has something for everyone on the menu. In our party we got the fried tuna avocado appetizer (amazing!), the fish tacos and the salad w chicken. Everything we ordered was great and the service was friendly and attentive. The visit met all expectations -- best part is this place is consistently good, year after year. read more

Our food was just ok. I had the Pecan Pie salad, it's very small for the $16 price tag but the flavors are good. I asked for an order of garlic bread which is not on their menu, but I knew they have cause my daughter had shrimp pasta that came with garlic bread. Bread was very good. WORST SERVICE!!! We had a group of 10 people with 5 children and called in advance to check for availability at 1 on a Saturday. We were told to come on in, no wait. We got seated and ordered drinks for kids which were wrong. When we ask the waitress to fix them she had an attitude with the children and said "I have 6 other tables and don't have time for this" When we stepped in and questioned the problem she said I don't have time for this I will pass you off to someone else and walked off. No manager came over and we paid for our drinks and left. Wouldn't spend a dime in this place! read more

Tough times but seriously... Came in for lunch today four of us and ordered 4 meals and 2 drinks plus water. After 10 minutes of waiting for the drinks and dying of thirst went to the bar to just ask if I could get them myself as the restaurant was busy. After standing for a few minutes with nobody helping a waitress told me that I need to wait for the server to bring. Another 10 minutes later finally got the drinks. Shortly thereafter we received our food and one of the dishes had a bug in it! The food runner took it back immediately and the one rude waitress said a fly must have flown in on the walk over and we were inside . Then our server came by and wasn't aware and just said now way like she was so surprised. No manager no nothing. I know times are very difficult but this type of service and attitude won't keep a busy place much longer. Used to love this place but now will have to reconsider before going back again. read more

Great day on the mountain. Ready to eat a horse! Etown has a great menu to refuel after a long day. Good beer selection and usually plenty of seating. I guess we got here early. Awesome food‼ We eat in and get ToGo often. Hot Pretzels are homemade and near perfect- cheese sauce is the right combo of beer and cheese or whatever they use. Chili lime wings are the right amount of moist inside with crispy tangy sauce outside, I don't know how they get the carrots and celery to taste so good that come with the wings. Pizza is excellent as well! Atmosphere is pretty cozy and casual, good vibe. Emily is awesome and the gal who seems to manage is as nice as they come. read more

Bread. 10/10, would eat again, kind of craving it now whilst I write this review. I mean, I love gyros. The good, the bad, the mediocre. But this one was darn good. And you can get it with fries or tots. Or a side salad, but ain't nobody got time for that. Especially at these prices (did I mention it's on the $$$ side?). Drinks were lacking - watered down cocktails and the wine is no bueno. They do have happy hour starting at 3:30, but I don't know what food is on that menu. The drinks during that time are $5 well, $5 house red/white and some type of beer selection. Worth a try for the food, but skip drinks and save some cashola. read more

The food was shitty overall it was overpriced for what it was. The waitress and bartender are ill informed on the drinking age here. They told my parents they could go to jail for negligence for buying a drink. My father and I looked up the drinking laws in Colorado because we are from Texas. The only thing required to let the establishment know about it and if they're okay with it. It's unacceptable for people to spread misinformation like that. The patio is nice. The food is awful. The kids burger was so overcooked so we sent it back and asked for medium. It came back almost raw and the cheese was oddly very, very hard. The side of spinach was in a pool of liquid with way too much garlic - and I like garlic. The kids pizza was raw on the underside. They didn't really like the Mac and cheese it had no salt or flavor. My steak tacos had the worst quality beef and had zero salt as well. This place needs major help in the kitchen! I told the manager about the poor quality of our food and he was pretty rude and basically didn't care. This pretty much explains why they clearly don't care about quality at all because when someone tells them they sort of shrug instead of caring and making changes. Yesterday I decided to treat myself to their one of a kind salads. I was in Vail, so for pick up delivery it was a bit of a drive, but totally worth it. Their pecan pie salad with salmon and goat cheese and pecans with maple bourbon dressing is divine! I added the shrimp as well and they were the best cooked shrimp I have had in a long time. This is a great place to have a casual lunch or dinner. The Asian salad and the Pecan Pie salad are both good. They offer out seating which is nice on a pretty afternoon. It is at the end of the building so the view is the parking lot unless you look up! Very friendly wait staff and well behaved dogs are welcome on the outside patio. The only reason, I'm giving this place 1 star, the fries were the only thing that came out hot and tasty. The shrimp Po Boy was greasy, salty cold and over breaded, and the roll was hardly warm - forget any kind of presentation! The Caesar salad was not made with Hearts of Romaine. The breaded artichokes were cold, and the dressing was on the side.. The manager came over and had nothing really to say, except, guests want their dressing on the side...Well, not this guest! How about asking, instead of taking it for granted, especially since your dressing is thick and not easily tossed, unless, you want your salad all over the table. Hands down amazing food! Lori was the best waitress you could ever hope for, and delivered an excellent experience. The cheese curds are highly recommended as an appetizer. My tuna wasn't cooked exactly to my liking, so she threw it back on the grill and replated it, and it was the best I've ever had. We had a great experience. I'll start with the philly cheese steak. It was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend. My wife had a chopped salad and loved it. Kids liked the chick tenders. The service was good too. The place looked great for catching a game on the weekend. Also, loved that that had a number of big tables. Lots of big groups go skiing so this made a ton of sense. We would definitely go back. They also had a lunch special Reuben that looked good for $9. Will definitely keep this on my list while in beaver creek. The short drive to Edwardsville was worth it. Such a wonderful lunch ,,, service and the food was really good. Tucked in the far end of Edwards Main Street area. Unfortunately they did not have a liquor license and about 5-6 groups of people walked in and left when they found this out. They should have it back by Feb. 2014. We decided to stay and did not regret our choice. I had the ahi tuna sandwich - grilled sushi grade tuna, sweet soy glaze, sesame slaw ginger, wasabi mayo and ciabatta roll. Oh so tasty and the tuna was cooked perfectly. The roll was fresh and the slaw had tons of flavor. Scott had the animal style yo' - double patty angus beef, american cheese, caramelized onions, pickles and special sauce. A juicy and heavenly burger. Good place. There was a short line to get a seat so we sat the bar. Started off with a screwdriver- my first drink in Colorado. Unaware of how much being 8000 feet above sea level affects your tolerance, I chugged that whole thing down! Appetizer: crab artichoke dip. Delicious. Too many chips, a lot more than the dip. We finished the entire dip with some chips left. Main course: Asian chicken salad. Pretty good, can't complain. Except for the fact that it doesn't really help your tolerance when drinking! 2 drinks later, I already had a headache. Thank you Asian genes. read more

After 45 minuets Both the waiter and the manager kept coming over to tell us our food would be up soon which was b.s. since it wasn't. The place was not even full that night. The food and service were terrible. I had the chopped salad, which was recommended by the waitress, it was described as a chopped salad with Gorgonzola cheese. It came out with blue cheese, dry moldy corn, slimy brown lettuce, an egg that had to be at least a few days old, and a small bit of bacon. I mentioned the corn to the waitress who replied that she could get me new corn and then came back to the table to tell us that the corn was indeed fresh as the can was opened yesterday and just left uncovered overnight (yum). My husband had the bacon turkey wrap with black pepper aioli, the aioli was not pepper but raspberry and disgusting. I had a Moscow mule that was supposed to be served in a copper cup however was served in a metal cup with copper playing on the outside. We were sat and waited 10 minutes before we were asked about drinks. I asked if they had any specialty drinks and was told happy hour wasn't until 3:30 and then asked if I meant a drink menu (I did). We were given no silverware or napkins until we asked. The manager never came over to talk to us even though he managed to have a 15 minute conversation with the table next to us. The people giving this place 5 stars must be locals who get a huge discount. This is supposedly a local favorite so I say as a visitor leave it for the locals or go in for horrible service and even worse food. read more

A waitress finally came up to seat a party of 6 that walked in behind us (no reservations). She didn't come back to seat us so we sat at the bar. Again, no acknowledgement, no hello, nothing - Instead the bartender was actually wrapping napkins/silverware. After a full 15 minutes we left.
