    This is a cute mom and pop ski rental shop. I take my family here. Once you are in the system, rentals are fast. The first time takes a little longer, but same story anywhere. The skis I rented were freshly tuned, I could tell the stone had been dressed recently. I used to work at two ski shops and both owners were a bit miserly about dressing the stone, because it would wear faster. So I always appreciate seeing a nice flat surface with a crisp pattern. The store hours are hard for me as a working stiff. I'm writing this review while parked in front of their closed store at 9:47 AM. Their hours are 10-6 weekdays. Christie's are 10-7. A slot in the door for drop offs would be great addition. Some shops have them. I don't mind the lady at the front, she's been friendly to me. Knocking off a star only because I couldn't return my skis for two days because of my work schedule not lining up with their hours. I'll ask for some relief on the late fees and will add the star back if I get some. 100% my fault though, and they could have rented my skis to other people so business is business!

    Great place, very fair pricing, they are the only place I bring my ski boots to get worked on! Highly recommend

My husband bought the poles last weekend, without me present, and of course he no longer had the receipt, as husbands are wont to do. I figured they have our purchases on file so I went in for the exchange. One staffer was super helpful, quickly grabbing a new set of poles in the size we needed. Unfortunately when the redhead went to do the exchange, she accused me of returning used poles because the rubber on the handles was slightly scuffed--I said no, they were just purchased last weekend and the tag is still on (with the snow was bad as it's been this year, we've hardly been up at all!). I said--that must be how you sell them, because you can see this new set I was just handed was also scuffed up on the handle. Of course after that she found the order (under my phone number not my husband's) but it feels pretty crappy to be accused of something when you're just a loyal customer trying to get the right size gear for your child. I have to say, I'll think twice before visiting this Park Meadows location again. Maybe Aurora will be better.

That's where I went today to purchase a birthday gift for my wife and it will probably be the last time I shop with them after today. Today was at least the 3rd time that I've purchased an item that was marketed at a significant discount but was rang up at full price. The first two times, I thought it might be simply errors in merchandising and signage. To be clear, I purchased two different sizes of a jacket off of a circular rack that held at least 6 more of the same style and color jackets. The signage on the top of the entire rack clearly said "40% off." I left the store, checked my receipt on the way to the car and returned inside to point out the discrepancy. The sales associate (different from the one that had checked me out) responded by saying "Honestly, these weren't the items on sale." She didn't bother to walk back to the rack to check the signage. She didn't apologize for the conflicting messages. She didn't call a manager to try making the customer happy. I do realize that it is not the sales associate's fault for deceptive signage so I wasn't rude or angry with her. I did keep my purchases (with the intent to return one when I figure out which size is the correct one for the recipient). But, I also did say that this was not the first time I had encountered this "clever but deceptive marketing in this store." And, I'm really tired of Dick's Sporting Goods in Lone Tree, Colorado playing their pricing games. I did double check online after leaving the store. Online the jackets I purchased are still listed at full price so I think I paid the correct price. However, management should verify and keep signage related to pricing current and accurate; and they should also correctly merchandise their stores. The fact that I have encountered this issue at this same store several times should give one pause before shopping here. I also realize that deceptive advertising is not legal and that I could also report this to the Better Business Bureau. I've considered that but decided to just take my business elsewhere.

I'm deducting one star because, while I personally was able to be accommodated close to my appointment time, I only grant that as a fluke since there happened to be another staff member around. Another party came in after me that had an appointment at the exact same time, and were still standing by the door 30 or 40 minutes later. After they did the foam process in my boot, I noted that there appeared to be some extra wiggling around in there. When I notified the employee that was helping me, he said I should give it a try and could always go back to another Surefoot location to get it fixed. Unfortunately it didn't get better and I ended up with shin bang the first day trying them - luckily there was another Surefoot location at the resort I was at where I was able to get it fixed, but a little disappointed given the cost. However, I'd say they're thorough and knowledgeable about their work. They are quite expensive though, and don't talk about price until they are requesting payment. But, I do love that you can go to any Surefoot for adjustments once you have made the initial investment, and will definitely come back the next time I have new ski boots.

I couldn't believe I was able to come in, get fitted, get the foam in the boots, and walk out the same day with everything I needed. They were real busy but still took great care of me and made sure I was good to go for the ski season.
