Free games in the lobby before or after your game.

This is the second time I've done an escape room at this location. Both rooms (Lost City and Murder Mansion) were great. We escaped both in time. There were one or two tiny things that could have made our experience better like having a flashlight to read some things cause our eyes aren't good enough to read in dim lighting and the manager was extremely receptive to our feedback. Escapology is a franchise chain so all the rooms have been tested a lot. The rooms at this location were really well maintained. They also felt very immersive and the puzzles weee good. One of the best touches is that they have free video games in the lobby for you to play while you wait. Also they have a party room you can rent with more games. 5 stars

Friendly, fun , and kid friendly. This was our first escape room and it could not have gone better. We are definitely coming back.

Very cute place to try something new with friends and family. Price is a bit steep at $29.99 per person for one hour. However, it was super clean and you only participate with the people that you invited to attend the event with you. The staff is super nice and helpful and offer helpful hints. The hour goes by super fast. Wasn't my cup of tea or my kiddos but we got out before time and brought in the new year with a new activity tried. They do offer a discount if you come in on Mondays to try it as well as if you book another experience after you finish the first one.

My fiancé and I LOVE escape rooms. We've done around 50 between the two of us and he's been in the industry for many years. While in the area we stopped by to play the Scooby Doo room. This was such great fun! The room was decorated well and had a variety of things to do in order to solve puzzles. Some were super unique that we hadn't encountered before! There were not just a bunch of locks. We thought the room was well themed, super fun and not too challenging. If you book another room the same day there is a small discount so we stayed for Narco which they claimed was their most challenging room. Narco was a big let-down. The puzzles were not linear which automatically makes the room more challenging. However, they also seemed very random and disjointed. Some of the clues were very clever and fun to figure out but we left more frustrated than anything else. We would definitely try other rooms if we were back in the area. If this is your first time, I'd suggest the Scooby Doo room. It's very well done and not too challenging. The staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed talking with everyone we dealt with.

Fun & loads of laughs as you get to solve the puzzles and crime with your family or friends . Today I had my four best ladies with me and we tried out the Budapest room aka Polar Express where we all had to work together to find clues to a murder. The room isn't very big so we constantly got in each other's way ,but eventually learned how to work together. Once you begin finding clues you get energized and engaging finding more as you search. They have a TV with directions about your room and a button for clues and one for distress in case you want out of there fast. We got two other doors open and time sped up and before we solved . All of us had a great time and it was our first . Can't wait to go back .

So we've done several escape rooms at different places. The inside is beautifully done. It's warm, inviting and well organized. The computers work well when trying to do the waivers. We did the save Santa with our 10 yr old. We didn't solve in time, but that's more on the two adults in the room who can't listen. Alex as our game master was awesome. We had some struggles on getting some puzzles to open (user error again.) and Alex was fantastic at "nudging" us on what we were doing wrong! I'd love to have Alex as a game master again. Cute things to hold at the end. We got our photo SUPER quick! I loved that I could share it so quickly! The only cons that we had - there was no lock explanation sheet in the room, which I think is important. It tells you how the lock functions, where to line up, and how the unlock mechanism works (push down first, slides, pull, etc). My only other thing was the group next to us was loud. I mean LOUD. I wish there was a bit more insulation in the walls, just to keep the rooms a little more separate. 9/10 will be back to do another puzzle!

Alex and Montana were great game masters. First loss in an escape room so I'm furious but quality game and great puzzles.

We are scheduled to attempt two of the three rooms that they currently offer. The facility is located inside of an office building on the main floor. Once you enter the lobby there's a large waiting area w/disposable cameras & water bottles for purchase. The first room that we decided to try is their most advanced one "A Broken Mind: Psych 102". The room starts off divided into 2 groups. Obviously, teamwork is extremely important in order to help each other out. This room had a little bit of technology implemented and it was utilized cleverly. The decor complemented the theme very well and the puzzles stuck to the storyline the whole time. Normally the suggested amount of people is four, but the two of us managed to escaped with 3 minutes and 42 seconds remaining. The next room we are scheduled for is "Last Resort"."Last Resort" is classified as an intermediate room. The minute that you we stepped inside "Last Resort", we noticed a lot of upgrades in the decor and the design. We felt immediately drawn into the storyline from beginning to end. There were some locks and technological puzzles that we've haven't seen before which made the experience all the more interesting. Overall, Panic Room CT delivered great customer service and we can tell that they are constantly stepping their game up! We can't wait to try their new games in the future! *For more info, check out my Yelp profile.

I came to visit my family in CT for the week and we decided to do an escape room for old times…read moresake. We went to the Stamford CT location with high hopes and our thinking caps on. We chose Biohazard because it has a higher difficulty and we can usually "escape the room". The room wasn't 100% ready when we arrived.. some locks were undone, there was no paper for us to write on.. bottom line, things were missing. There were too many locks and not enough story line. The four of us were minutes away from escaping but ultimately didn't make it out. The guy running the place.. think his name is Matt, was kind of abrupt once our time was up. Felt like we were rushed out. There were TWO more puzzles we had to solve and it's not like there was a line of people waiting to get in.. it would have been cool if he let us finish the last couple things. The room has potential but overall, we found it disappointing.

We had a special event and the website mentioned they can do something special for special events if you contact them, but my attempts at contacting them were fruitless. Just in case you are unsure of where to go, the escape room business is on the second floor. We played the Clue room. Given the price being so low, it was a solid room with a fun theme. That said, there were puzzles you could just brute-force your way through if you wanted to, and the clues from the game-master we needed were mostly not clues but help because a certain piece of the room didn't work from a technical perspective. Unlike at other escape rooms, the game-masters are definitely not paying any attention to what you're doing in the room unless you call on a walkie-talkie for a clue, at which point you have to explain to them what you're doing.

He was down to earth and took time to get to know us. The lobby was decorated nicely (but not crazy). After signing our forms and getting a briefing, we received a story about the room and were placed into a very cool bio lab. From there on, the room was DIFFICULT. We have a team of 3 and escaped the Biohazard Room with ~11 minutes to spare. WHAT WE LOVED: The room was engaging and high quality. I personally love a room that is immersive and this room made me feel like I was THERE. The story was consistent and generally logical. There was a good amount of puzzles and they were challenging/satisfying! Oh and Christian was an absolute GEM! WHAT SETS IT APART: One of our members had a different starting place and our first mission was to get her out. Unfortunately for us, we picked the smartest one so it probably took us a bit longer than it should have... it was still different and fun! BONES TO PICK: Our person that was separated felt a little helpless and wished there was more she could do while the others flailed trying to release her. She wasn't sitting there twiddling her thumbs but she couldn't do as much as she would have wanted to. Also, this is minor but we aren't used to having to use an item more than once after its helped solve a different puzzle. For Veterans, just make sure you throw the "one and done" rule away. OVERALL: a great experience and fun for both beginners and seasoned veterans! We will go again in the future especially once the other rooms are updated!
