Trial class scared the child as there were no accommodations to welcome or educate on the routine. Fear developed quickly so a second attempt a week later was scheduled in hopes it was an anomaly but it wasn't. Things went from bad to worse. Office staff wanted to charge us as a second trial visit which was fine but they were ignoring the trauma in development and the submitted paperwork of enrollment (showing clear commitment but reticent due to 3 yr old reaction. We got through that, then there was the inflexibly and insensitive approach yet again as our daughter walked into the gym space. Less than 5 minutes and tears were like a river!!! We tried to dork out an option to arrive 15 minutes early in hopes to get a "show and tell" of the environment but the front desk were so closed minded even that wasn't an option. The one drawback to a boat club are the time constraints. I completely understand that it goes with the territory of the club but it's still SO much fun! You get the choice of several boats in each location: we mostly take it out of the marina in Bridgeport near Boca but there are many throughout the state- with our favorite being Old Saybrook. While in the Bridgeport area, there are many places to stop for tubing, food, paddle boarding. This was our first season and I am already looking forward to next season!

But best part is no cleaning work or time spent refueling. Just show up, load up and enjoy the day. You only pay for the gas you use. Then come in unload and go. Dock people are friendly and helpful getting in and off the dock. They offer classes on docking. The only downside is not being able to use a boat on a weekend spur of the moment. I've never had a problem 2 weeks out but otherwise weekends fill up. Weeknights are often free for a spur of the moment sunset cruise. This is a franchise with different local owners. SE CT has a great owner who cares about his customers.

It was a place to rest, to relax, to enjoy a little bit of home in the midst of an oftentimes unfriendly environment. From its former downtown location, the Liceo moved to its Fairfield Avenue's Black Rock location about thirty years ago. It is now a landmark institution in the Latino community. We literally grew up going to the Liceo as teenagers when we were refugees in this great country of ours. Almost fifty years later, its services have expanded to take in most of the Latino community, but it is still home. And so many anglos enjoy the salsa dancing classes.

She had me walking on my own. I am very grateful for Joyce. The food was subpar. When it was time for me to leave, I cried and hugged Jesus, who took such vert goid care OF ME. I WAS blessed to have such nice people who took care of me. Marie always stopped in to chat with me. Alice was a caring nurse. I home I got her name right. She was on the night shift . Just good things to say about the unit I was on.

Fantastic program for my elderly parent. My mom has Alzheimer's, recently had a stroke, and has…read moremany other medical needs. She started recently attending this program almost 2 months ago after leaving rehab. She attends 5 days a week and will always share stories with me every day of what she's done and what she enjoyed. It brings me great comfort to know that she is in a safe, caring, supportive, & engaging environment when I'm at work. I am always communicating with the staff about her schedule, because of appointments or if something is going on with my mom. All the staff are really pleasant and helpful in so many ways. She is starting to make friends which is great for the social butterfly that she is. I did look at other social model day programs and there is nothing else that came close to a quality that the town of Huntington adult daycare program provides. The hours of operation are also amazing. As many places do not start until at least 9 AM. However, with my work schedule that is not doable so I'm very appreciative that they start at 8 AM and they end by 4pm. I am really happy that she is in such a great environment and gets to do things that she may not be able to do otherwise. I'm looking forward to her celebrating her 90th birthday with her new friends.
