My friend and I went on a Friday night at around 7:30 PM and the wait was not long at all. There is a full bar and even live music which was a pleasant surprise to see! It a great hang out spot even if you opt out of throwing axes. Once you are assigned a lane an instructor walks you over and goes over safety rules as well as how to properly throw the axe and tally points. After some tries by myself, they realized I was struggling and offered a personalized lesson. They were patient with me and gave me many different strategies to use to perfect my throw. While embarrassed at how bad I truly was, it was really comforting that they took the time to teach me without judgement. By the end of it, I have to say I was fairly confident and was landing it on the board almost every time, which made my experience a lot more enjoyable (even getting a bullseye might I add). Great for a first date, a group hangout, or family activity!

They expanded and did an amazing job on the new bar and patio. We will be back to hang out here soon! The 4 of us reserved an hour for throwing. The woman checking us in was very nice and even though we had been there before, was kind enough to give us a quick refresher. I have to mention the music being played was spot on! We all enjoyed this. Drinks are not expensive and bar tender was friendly. We did not try any food as we were heading out someplace to eat. we will be back and this time not wait so long!

The duckpin was a huge hit with kids and adults and the arcade section was bustling. There was something FUN for everyone and all ages. We had over 80 people and everyone had a blast! They will also take care of your pizza order so it arrives warm and ready to eat. Added plus -- We love that we were the only party! Thank you Arnaldo and staff. Best birthday party ever.

Some were pretty dirty looking too, like someone spilled soda on the controls a couple years ago and never bothered to clean it. They have 2 air hockey tables, one works like it should the other half works so the puck wouldn't slide all the way to the other side. So basically that's broken as well. Other than the arcade the rest of the place seemed ok, the bathrooms were clean. The lanes were operating good. If there was an issue the staff was there to address it. If it wasn't for the arcade I'd give it maybe 4 stars. You can tell they just half heartedly put in a arcade and didn't do much to keep it up.

A few months ago I took them up on their offer for an intro evening a few hours, since a friend of mine has been doing this for one reason. What a weird sport. Thought there would just be a bunch of old lonely bald guys drinking, throwing stones. But not only did I find it interesting, but the "handlers" were kind, very instructional and welcoming. Nice vibe. There were different ages, genders and backgrounds. Nice mix of newbies. The place is in the Beardsley Park area, and EZ to get to from the highway. There is free and EZ parking. Looking forward to the next step in November....a six pack of Saturday morning lessons.

It's got to be extremely diffficult to perfect (if not impossible), but is pretty accessible for newbies. We enjoyed our ice time, which was spent learning and playing the game, and also enjoyed the social atmosphere afterward. They have a great little bar, and a drink was included with the event. Additional drinks could be purchased at very reasonable prices. I was surprised as snacks were also provided - there was bruschetta, pork tenderloin, mixed nuts and caprese salad. The Nutmeg Curling members really went above and beyond in ensuring that we all had a wonderful evening out and I'd highly recommend any event they offer. If I lived closer, I'd consider joining.

Overall, this is a nice park to enjoy, the only thing I would improve would to be to add a few more shaded picnic tables. The other thing to be aware of is that there's a gun club adjacent to the park, so be prepared to hear a lot of gunfire while you're there.

This is where you are abducted and you wake up in a stranger's closet, which you have to escape from! I thought the storyline was awesome and our Puzzle Master (not sure that is the correct name but the person that gives you clues when you are stuck!) was great. She knew exactly when to give us clues especially when we were so close to finding the answer. I thought this multi-room escape room was awesome and challenging. We managed to get out with 2 minutes to spare and will definitely check out some of their other Escape Rooms if I am ever back in the area. Also, the place is a little tricky to find as its in an industrial area so just keep circling and you will find it!
