Went here mainly to try the square peg pizzeria located within the the truck bar but the bar was great as well. Lots of space, games, seating, clean, and the staff was very friendly. Nice atmosphere if you're a truck enthusiast. I tried the Bianco and chicken bacon cacciatore pizzas they offered. My favorite was definitely the bianco, the maple syrup and calabrian chili oil the put on it was amazing. Highly recommend trying that pizza from there and checking out the bar area also.
We just picked up some of the Square Peg pizza and it was delicious! The Bianco pizza was one of my favorite pizzas I've ever had! One of best pizza spots in the area. I wasn't familiar with the truck bar but it seemed like a fun atmosphere inside, would def like to return for some drinks and corn hole!
We stopped for a family lunch on a Saturday and had a great time. We arrived right before a festival was about to start and weren't that many people. The young man at the pizza oven was so nice and helpful. He took our order and brought the pizza right away. The people at the bar were also extremely friendly and helpful and assisted with the pool table. The pizzas were delicious: pepperoni and truffle buscaiola!! So good!!
"Truckin' - Up To Buffalo Been Thinkin' - You Got To Mellow Slow Take Time - You Pick A Place To Go And Just Keep Truckin' On" (Grateful Dead) A charitable organization I belong to met at the Truck Bar tonight to kick off our 2023-24 year. Twenty five of us had a sensational time playing cornhole, video games, and enjoying a fantastic dinner from Square Peg Pizza. Our feast included wings, half a dozen pizzas, a nice salad, a tray of meatballs and two trays of assorted grinders. Of course my group spent a lot of time at the bar, and the young guy staffing the bar was awesome. This was my first time at the Truck Bar and it's really quite an entertainment mecca with cornhole, pinball, Pop a Shot basketball, Skee ball, pool, bar shuffleboard, photo booths, darts and more. The cornhole lanes have a One Hour Rental fee of $25. We rented two lanes for two hours, so that was $100. The Truck Bar and Square Peg Pizza treated us very well. We asked our members to bring a donation for the Ronald McDonald House of New Haven, and the young lady from Square Peg did a great job taking a group picture of us with our donations. Everyone we dealt with was excellent, and the facility itself was a blast.

The only downside and I don't know if this remains true, but they didn't have ice. They have arcade games here, which are fun. You can come here, by yourself, a date, a few friends, or a large party. They've got plenty of space inside and outside of this location. I wish they had more up to date machines and more of them. But other than that, the pizza was good and hot. I'd come back here again if I am ever in Connecticut and in town!
This was my first time coming to The Truck Bar. I've had never heard about this place before. It was one of the bar hops for the The Hard Cider and Doughnut Fest. I was surprised of the size of the bar because from the outside, you would never know there is so much square footage inside. This is a great place for friends, girls night out, guys night out and spending time with family. They take entertainment very seriously. There have all sorts of activities to do to keep you entertained. I ordered a pizza with half Bacon and Cheese. My go to. The pizza wasn't that great. The bacon on the pizza was not great but the customer service was okay. I gave them a four star for the entertainment they provide but the pizza is a two star.
The Truck Bar has some cool old school decor. Old Style trucks, with antique gas station signs and pumps. Multiple lanes of corn hole with scoring, and regulation distance. Its a tough distance so it requires better than average skill. In addition to corn hole, darts, billiards / pool, and limited video games are offered. Cans of beer, soda,and alcohol are available. With bottled water and Gatorade. Food available - pizza. A cool vibe but would be more everyone friendly if a three or four alternative distance corn hole lanes were available. I took a bunch of pics besides what Ive included but none were clear enough to post. If half stars were available this would be a solid 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
I had a great time last night at the truck bar in Berlin. Went with a friend and met up with a bunch of other friends and had a great time. The band was great and played all kinds of old rock 'n' roll music that we were dancing to. There were plenty of games for everyone to enjoy. Lots of old time video games as well. Maybe next time I'll play some cornhole.
I had no idea this place was tucked away, right off the highway, in Berlin, CT right near the Ocean State I've shopped at dozens of times! The location is super convenient, there is tons of parking because it's in a plaza, and the place is huge! The first time I went to a Yelp Elite here, I was blown away with how huge this place is! I knew I'd be back and loved the idea! It's New England, sometimes we feel stuck in the house because it's 98 degrees in the summer and we need AC to do anything active, unless it's in water, or it's 11 degrees and it's too cold outside to do anything but get in your warm car to go somewhere else with heat. Well, now there's an alternative to the bowling, pool halls and movies that we've done all our lives in such weather. The Truck Bar is where you can go to get out of the house and off the couch or or barstool and get moving, while not doing anything super intense but being on your feet and having a blast spending an afternoon or evening! The Corn Hole is free to play, and a pool game was just $1 with two tables in the back. We also noticed giant Jenga (in one of the rooms that's available for rent), darts, video games, and Shuffle Board. There's a Square Peg Pizzeria right in The Truck Bar so your order a pizza, wings and salad should you get hungry while you're here. You can actually head over to grab a drink at the bar in back, in case you're longing for that barstool you're used to. So, you basically buy food and/or drinks and then get free entertainment (or very cheap) for hours of enjoyment! Oh, hello there's also a stage! My first inclination was to make this a 4-star review, then I came to my senses and realized I should not deduct a star just because I loathe country music, and that's what was on all Saturday afternoon and evening. That is my least favorite music, so I did have moments I thought of leaving just to get away from the music. The live music that night was also country, and I'm sure the folks that like that music stuck around and had a blast! Otherwise, all I have is positive things to say about this place! All staff I encountered were nice and helpful and I'll definitely be returning!
Had tried to come to this bar once before but there was a cover charge so we opted to go to a different bar. Returned a year later to give it another try, no cover charge this time. I got a frozen cocktail and we played darts and some other games there. Pretty decent spot to change it up. Nice for group outings. read more

We originally placed an order to pick up, but we stopped for a drink instead, ate pizza and played cornole We got the frozen cider, and had a nice little spicyness (Not hot, more like mulled cider spice) We ended up getting the carnivore which came with bacon, sausage, and pepperoni. There is a huge cornhole area to your left upon entering, and a nice brick oven for those very tasty pizzas. There is also a small arcade, darts, billards, a stage for live entertainment and of course, a nice bar. read more

This place is so cool and the pizza is amazing ! I came here to pick up a pizza and had to stop and play a game of cornhole. They have a stage , arcade , dart boards and pool tables . I ended up ordering a frozen apple cider from the bar and playing a game of corn hole. This place takes reservations for corn hole. It gets busy! The pizza here is the best in the area too! read more

This is a huge place they had three shuffleboard tables. They had a live band with a $10 cover. They had a huge bar for pool tables 3 dart boards probably 10 or 20 corn holes pizza and some other kind of food. Great place I will be back. read more

Hosted a birthday party here a couple weeks ago. They were flexible with a need to reschedule the first time and I gave plenty of notice. I pre-ordered the food and everything came out as ordered and on time. The reserved cornhole lanes were easily found. All in all it was a great place to host an adult birthday party. I do agree with one of the other reviews that they should have more of a full bar with cocktails or at least a few signature cocktails. read more

What a cool place to hang out and meet up with friends. Square peg pizza is there for some food options. Cornhole , pool darts and table shuffle board. Also has video games. 2 large rentable party rooms. The drinks are flowing, many to choose from and reasonable prices. They offer entertainment on some nights, but you have to call or see the most updates Facebook postings. Environment is fun and open, staff always willing to help and answer questions. This review is long overdue. The truck bar is where it's at if you're looking for a fun place to go that has a little bit of everything for everyone. Cornhole, pool, darts, dancing?? You got it, it's all here. Similar to their other axe pits and brother locations, drinks at this venue are also in a can, which I personally enjoy. They have an excellent selection of IPAS too for the beer drinker. Check them out, there's nothing like it around. read more

AMAZING spot alert! My husband took me here for date night after attending a Yelp Elite event here. He was raving about the spot and how much fun it was and he was not lying! We had such a blast this weekend. This is a really cool place, I wish it was closer to me because I'd for sure be a regular. I posted a ton of pictures because everything was really cool and worth sharing. Let's talk food first (my fav part lol) - we tried meatball and plain cheese pizza and both were delicious! We ate them pretty quickly and left no crumbs! :P (the chef and cashier were also so friendly and so sweet which is always a plus!) Now let's talk the fun! They have corn hole, darts, arcade games, pool tables and an awesome bar. I was amazed how spacious and unique all of the different areas of this place were. The private party rooms are also super cool, there are two. They are spacious as well! Overall- I can totally see why my husband was raving about this spot because it was epic! It's a great spot for a party, date or to just hang out with friends and unwind. I will be back for sure! read more

Went here first the first time to hear a band and had a great time!! A large facility with a bar, corn hole area, pool table area and stage with ample area to dance and mingle. Didn't order food so I can't give a review on that, but I look forward to returning again soon! read more

Stopped here after a work event and it was very fun! Loved the air hockey, motorcycle game, and all the corn hole! I wish there were more pin ball machines but I know those are hard to come by. The interior is super cute and the staff was great. Hard seltzers and a good variety of beers. Definitely will be back. read more

I came on a Friday night at around 8pm, at first we were really surprised to see that there was a $10 cover. Especially because we came for a few beers and pizza. The pizza was great, I'd never had square peg before but they had some great options and the pizza was fresh out of the oven. The bar has a really cool vibe and some amazing decor, there was a live band playing which was really great but I do wish they had turned down the volume a little bit as it was almost impossible to have a conversation over the noise. They have pool, Darts, and corn hole for entertainment. I was let down when it came time to order drinks. The bar has a wide array of beer but all of them come in bottles and cans. I was really surprised to see that for mixed drinks they only offer canned mixers and nips from the fridge and make the customer mix them theirselves. We asked for a cup of ice to mix with and were told by the bartender that they don't provide ice with their drinks! For the price you're paying I don't think this is worth it if your a fan of mixed drinks! This bar seems to prefer customers who pay with cash and I noticed they have a $4 service charge for all credit card transactions. I think this bar is unique and I would come again for the atmosphere and pizza, but the drinks are literally all bottles and nips that are marked up substantially! Be prepared to spend some money here if you visit! read more
During a school night out event we decided to hit up the truck bar for a pizza on a Friday night. This place offers a huge inside of cornhole arcades plenty of other bar favorites. This particular evening we had the sausage pizza and chicken wings. The wings are baked not fried. The pizza delicious. Welcome to town to a quality place. read more

Wow.. just wow! First, their venue is much larger than I expected it to be. Second, they have EVERYTHING you could want inside: arcade games, pool, darts, and of course cornhole. They have a massive stage in the center that makes you feel like you're enjoying a live concert while hanging out. Their bar has a great variety of drinks and Square Peg's menu offerings are delicious! And it's the perfect meeting spot, just a short drive off of route 9. I'm excited to visit frequently with friends! read more
