I was pleased by 2 security staff circulating the floor throughout the day I am however disappointed that the Healthyville cafe is vending machines that today decided to glitch and not provide the food after paying for a sandwich. The staff called the vendor but I was never refunded the cost. The museum should also reconsider the amount of leaves that they have put on the floor- it is very slippery for new child walkers and older adults. Let alone a pain for the cleaning crew.... All the indoor same floor exhibit areas were spectacular and so Clean and the outside grounds magnificent.

Creeperum was actually our second stop of the evening, and I wasn't feeling too optimistic. When we got there, our greeter told us that they had tried to do something different than your average haunted house. They were definitely right! No spoilers here, but I screamed a lot, and it was pretty entertaining. More engaging than the average jump out and scare you scenario typical of most haunted attractions, and some very unique bits. It only lasted 15-20 min but it was entertaining for sure. And no chainsaws! :) We went on a Sunday night and it wasn't busy - but it was still cheaper to buy the Groupon than to pay the "at the door" price. And if it's busy, the Groupon lets you skip the line. Highly recommend as one of the better haunted attractions in the area!

(Hint: Look for their dedicated entrance with a sign since it's an otherwise nondescript office building.) Sadly we didn't finish but it was still a lot of fun anyway. Highly recommended.

This is where you are abducted and you wake up in a stranger's closet, which you have to escape from! I thought the storyline was awesome and our Puzzle Master (not sure that is the correct name but the person that gives you clues when you are stuck!) was great. She knew exactly when to give us clues especially when we were so close to finding the answer. I thought this multi-room escape room was awesome and challenging. We managed to get out with 2 minutes to spare and will definitely check out some of their other Escape Rooms if I am ever back in the area. Also, the place is a little tricky to find as its in an industrial area so just keep circling and you will find it!

My friend and I went on a Friday night at around 7:30 PM and the wait was not long at all. There is a full bar and even live music which was a pleasant surprise to see! It a great hang out spot even if you opt out of throwing axes. Once you are assigned a lane an instructor walks you over and goes over safety rules as well as how to properly throw the axe and tally points. After some tries by myself, they realized I was struggling and offered a personalized lesson. They were patient with me and gave me many different strategies to use to perfect my throw. While embarrassed at how bad I truly was, it was really comforting that they took the time to teach me without judgement. By the end of it, I have to say I was fairly confident and was landing it on the board almost every time, which made my experience a lot more enjoyable (even getting a bullseye might I add). Great for a first date, a group hangout, or family activity!

Deep 6 Arcade is a classic video arcade, bar and restaurant that opened in Stratford, Connecticut…read morein September 2026. It was founded by business partners Justin Greenfeld and Kyle Corcoran. Greenfield had grown up going to arcades in Connecticut, like his father before him who grew up playing pinball. The family even purchased their own pinball machine when Greenfeld was 13. Not long after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Greenfeld purchased a used pinball machine for $100 and repaired it. When he realized that he had a knack for repairing arcade machines, he launched the business and website "Deep 6 Arcade". Initially helping private collectors, Greenfeld was soon doing repair work for bigger arcades and began to train additional technicians to keep up with the supply and demand. When the arcade industry experienced a resurgence after the pandemic ended, he partnered with Corcoran with plans to launch a brick & mortar arcade that featured a restaurant and bar. Deep 6 Arcade has over 50 arcade games as well as a full service restaurant, bar, and even a private event room. A few days ago, I was one of the lucky individuals who was invited to attend the soft opening for Deep 6 Arcade. I was able to speak with Greenfeld and Corcoran shortly after arriving, and they were both super friendly and enthusiastic. There was a nice balance between the various arcade games. Most of them were classic arcade cabinets or pinball machines, but there was also racing games, rail shooter games, bubble hockey, and skee-ball. Some of the attractions I enjoyed playing were "The Simpsons" pinball, "Area 51: Site 4", "Dig Dug", "Aliens", "The Addams Family" pinball, skee-ball, and "Coney Island Rifle". The kitchen/bar staff also prepared a sampling of the upcoming menu which featured delicious items like "Buffalo Chicken Bites", "Chicken Wraps", "Pretzel Bites", and "Spicy Hot Dogs". The bar had a nice selection of beer, wine and cocktails. They even had a decent selection of non-alcoholic beer offerings for sober individuals such as myself. Overall, I had a fun experience at Deep 6 Arcade and can't wait to return with my family in tow.

We have a team of 3 and escaped the Biohazard Room with ~11 minutes to spare. WHAT WE LOVED: The room was engaging and high quality. I personally love a room that is immersive and this room made me feel like I was THERE. The story was consistent and generally logical. There was a good amount of puzzles and they were challenging/satisfying! Oh and Christian was an absolute GEM! WHAT SETS IT APART: One of our members had a different starting place and our first mission was to get her out. Unfortunately for us, we picked the smartest one so it probably took us a bit longer than it should have... it was still different and fun! BONES TO PICK: Our person that was separated felt a little helpless and wished there was more she could do while the others flailed trying to release her. She wasn't sitting there twiddling her thumbs but she couldn't do as much as she would have wanted to. Also, this is minor but we aren't used to having to use an item more than once after its helped solve a different puzzle. For Veterans, just make sure you throw the "one and done" rule away. OVERALL: a great experience and fun for both beginners and seasoned veterans! We will go again in the future especially once the other rooms are updated!
