I've found over the years and many dozens of phone calls making claims and thousands of dollars claimed that they have been responsive and very easy to work with. Even when a claim is not covered they've documented the call so the insured can call in for answers. Whether or not they get answers? That I don't know. Reading the reviews it does make me sad that most people seem to want to beat AUL up when most times it's the "dealer" or contract seller that is in error by overpromising and/or even lying about what is covered. That makes AUL and people like me who calls in the claim the bad guy when your furry is not directed at the correct target. If you're thinking about purchasing a contract make sure to do YOUR due diligence in coverage and make sure YOU understand what it is you are purchasing just like any other insurance policy or big ticket item you are purchasing.
