This place has stolen from me and they need to pay me back. My brand new Toyota 4 runner that was paid in full and registered to me was taken to Concord tow. I had to pay them 8,000 to get my car out and then my car was taken again. When I tracked my car down I was told they auctioned and sold my vehicle. I then purchased a truck that I paid in full on and was registered to me. I was mugged and my car keys were taken. The vehicle was taken and had all my belongings in it as well as a 3,000 bike. I was told this car was auctioned and sold as well. I really don't want to have to go through a lawsuit . I was in a hospital and was unable to do anything until now. Try calling this business and no one answered so it went to voicemail, and instead of you hear a professional business message you hear someone saying hello so you start a conversation, few seconds later you hear a laugh than the automated service say please leave you message. I remember this was actually pretty funny back in middle school or high school but for a business owner to have that as their answering machine? How pathetic can you be or how unprofessional are you? Review #203 - 2018 Apparently, I did something quite dumb, but I've been doing a lot of these things since the baby showed up in my life about 2 years ago. I accidentally left the car light on inside my car for 2 nights because I was taking the baby out of her car seat and forgot to turn it back off afterwards. I always check the lights inside my car after I lock it, but sadly, I didn't this time. So, this morning, while I was about to head out, I found out my car wouldn't unlock so I thought my key ran out of battery. I went back inside to grab my second set of key & that one didn't work either. So, I tried to manually unlock it & the alarm didn't go off & that's when I realized my battery must have died. I called AAA and they said it would take about an hour for a tow truck to arrive. I go back inside my house and wait. About 20 minutes later, I hear a knock on my front door. The tow truck driver showed up. Talk about quick! The gentleman who showed up was very helpful & professional. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for his name. He spent about 10 minutes working on my car & it finally started. He noticed that my battery was replaced only about a year ago & he recommended that since it's under a 5-year warranty, I should ask them to replace it for me. I walked out of the house and headed to the car to run some Sunday errands. But when I turned the key, nothing. What I rediscovered later is that when I take my car to get washed, the folks who wipe the interior sometimes trip the parking light switch (just above the steering wheel). That in turn, drains the battery after a couple hours. The fix is to simply tun the switch back to off. In the meantime, I pulled out my AAA card and the Concord Tow World Truck arrived sooner than expected. Dustin (and his dog Bartholomew) took good care of me. That included jump starting the car, diagnosing the battery, and facilitating a short "play date" between his dog and my 2 pups. I was relieved as my fear of a starter replacement was not yet to be. However, the original Subaru battery (in my 1999 Legacy) my need to be changed sooner. I was quickly on my way and very appreciative of the great service that I received. read more

Note: this review is for Concord Tow World only. More specifically one employee in particular. If this was for AAA, you're looking at a 1-star hater review. My beloved Blue Dragon decided to take a dump at the BART parking garage So my wife called AAA to have it towed home. Since it was in a parking garage, we told the dispatcher the clearance of 8' 4" assuming they would send a low clearance tow truck. When Tuan from Concord Tow World arrived with his flat bed, he immediately said we would need a wheel lift truck. Despite this, he attempted to at least measure it up to his truck, but there was no way due to the minimal clearance. We called back AAA only to find that they do not have any wheel lift trucks on duty Sunday evenings for some reason. They only have 1 contracted vehicle from another company that fucking sucks. They send this idiot out from the other company and he looks at the car and abandons us without saying a word that he was leaving. After some back and forth with AAA Tuan arrives again because they told him that the car was out of the parking garage. It was definitely not. At this point Tuan was becoming as upset with AAA as we were. He instructed us what to say to the manager on the phone and that still didn't work since AAA does not have its shit together. So long story short. Tuan enlists the help of a co-worker to assist us in pushing the Blue Dragon uphill and out of the parking garage to where he could safely hook it up to his truck. I'm not gonna lie, my legs were shaking and I was half outta breathe when we were done. There's no way we could've done it without the two gentleman from Concord Tow World. Tuan's dedication to getting us out of there and on the road should be recognized. Tuan, if you're reading this, I owe you a beer and your supervisors owe you a raise! read more

Very inconsistent and unrealiable. With COVID I'm aware that business hours are alternating. I called to check up on business hours multiple times and no answer. They should update or put a sign on door with business hours. So I came here on Saturday as their website states they are open. Waited from 8-10 am no one came by. Came back Monday and was told they were open late Friday and Open for a few hours Sunday. How are customers suppose to be aware of sudden hours if their is no communication. ?! Wow: never expected such great service! Young driver, Trevon (sp?) was prompt, efficient, very polite, handled a difficult situation with grace and diplomacy beyond his years. There are many other situations where I would want someone with his problem-solving skills. The office side of things was exceptional, too. A next day follow-up call actively requesting feedback: not just a cheap, easy-to-send questionaire, but a real (and articulate) person genuinely wanting to know how they could improve. Steve said it would be an hour as the driver was on his way to Martinez, boy was he wrong. The driver showed up maybe 30 minutes later and could not have been more accommodating, not to mention a Raider fan. My car was towed to the shop and all I had to do was give my keys to the driver. This could not have been easier and less stress on me, you ever start a car without a catalytic converter? It sounds like a jet taking off from Burbank airport. Before I started to write this review, I looked on-line and saw a review that I could have just copied. I normally don't do these review things, but my my experience with Tuan at Concord Tow World was incredible. You are never calling AAA for a good reason. You are likely experiencing a crappy situation. Your car has given up on you. To have a guy like Tuan show up somehow made the entire experience acceptable, and possibly even .....pleasurable. He immediately put me at ease. Initially I thought I might have to go with him to deliver my car to the dealership service center. But given my perception of Tuan and his honesty and capability, I was perfectly confident flipping him my keys. He said he'd haul the car to a dealership service center and take care of everything else. A half-hour later, he sent me a text (with photo) of my car at the dealership. The next morning, I received a call form the dealership. All problems in life should end so easily. But this all happened because of Tuan. I know nothing about Concord Tow World, but if they hired a guy like Tuan, they must know what they are doing. read more

He showed up with a fantastic sense of humor, which immediately put me at ease. My car was on the 3rd floor of a parking garage & the tow truck was too tall to come to my car, so Tuan helped push my car down to the 1st floor. Sonny the driver, seem more of the person that believed he knew certain things that did not pertain to his job. He walked up and looked at the license plate of my BMW, "WE'RE NOT GOING TO TOW IT!" I asked him why not, he said that it wasn't registered. "Tags are expired.." he quickly replied. After advising him that I have a moving permit issued by dmv and that it was on the dash board, he asked if it was a "one day moving permit". He went to look at it and began to step away from me after he seen the proof. He then stated that it was in the wrong place and that it needed to be in the back of the car so the police don't pull you over. On the back of the temporary operating permit, it states that it can be on the bottom right hand corner of the windshield. Sonny, I thank you for coming that night to tow the car home. However, stick to your job description. You are not a police officer nor are you parking enforcement. If you are going you advise someone about where objects and permits are to be located to avoid traffic stops by Law Enforcement, look into it first. read more

When we arrived to pick it up at 4:30p, the pensk people were gone for the day (even though the website offers that time to pick up a truck). the truck I reserved was also not at the site. Sonja coordinated getting me a truck and called me that evening to tell me a truck was available. She even said she was going to come in on Sunday (her day off) to make sure my billing was processed correctly. Sonja is very nice and conscientious. For any people that get your car towed - please do not yell at Sonja. She is the dispatcher and very good at what she does. He looked at my instrument console and agreed with me that there was a problem with the car's electronics. I had to call AAA due to an almost destroyed tire (I really don't know how it didn't get completely destroyed as I drove). The AAA person said it would be an hour to an hour and a half. 10 minutes after that, I got an automated call saying the driver was 5 - 10 minutes away. 3 minutes later, Troy from Concord Tow World was outside. He just towed it a few miles to a tire place, but he was great. Very professional, new exactly what he was doing, and he was suuuuper nice.
