My driver got stuck in Alamo I have my tow company on the way but the owner of the property that my driver got stuck called the police and the police called this tow company at 5:15 and they told the police they will be there in 30 minutes but they didn't show up until 7:3 and charge hourly rate. I couldn't believe this type service. My tow company should have been there at 6:30 and I would have saved $250. This is too much charged $387 for 5 minute service and told us 30 min to get there. read more

Might be open 24/7 but you can only get help if the office is open. If you crash Saturday won't get help till Monday. Crashed but no one explained that I couldn't get my car released unless the office is open..... car stayed longer then needed due to lack of communication. My car was impounded by them. The front desk lady had an attitude when filling out the paperwork. No customer service skills whatsoever. After getting into my car, I found a rusted razorblade and broken plastic that didn't belong to me. It also looked as if they had trifled through my glovebox. If you do get your vehicle towed from them, PLEASE check to see if it had been trifled through. Do not use them for any type of service. They are over priced and don't care about their customers. read more

THE OWNER IS A CROOK!! A company with bunch of incapable. My wife's car was towed by these guys in May 2018. When we got the car back, the steering wheel was bent and it was impossible (not to mention extremely dangerous) to drive it. But anyway, the staff there told us "not our fault, reach out to the boss". We ended up paying $3,300 to get the whole thing fixed (our insurance company paid part of it but we still had to pay a $1,000 deductible). After working 6 months with my insurance company, we have not been able to get our money back, the owner systematically refused talking with us (he's so pitiful that he will let his secretary do the talking. I made arrangements to retrieve my things from my car that had been totaled. I was told it was ok, showed them that I brought my spare key so I didn't need them to find the one they had. 3 minutes later, the old guy in charge stormed out yelling at me. He accused me of stealing my own belongings (which I have a legal right to retrieve, no matter whose car it is), finding the spare key in the car and lying that I brought it from home, and of stealing my own purse THAT I HAD WALKED IN WITH which he tried to yank out of my hand. He kicked me out and threatened to call the cops. 10 minutes and a call to my lawyer later, I was set to retrieve my things. No apologies, nothing. No, 'Sorry ma'am, I shouldn't have yelled at you, accused you of being a thief, tried to steal your purse, and threatened to call the cops. You were being honest. I was just being an asshole.' Nah, he just hid in the back of the office when I went back there to pay the storage fees. Hadn't even alerted his staff as to why I might be upset with the company, so I received exactly zero redress. read more

I'll admit, the bad reviews scared me. I anticipated every negative mentioned but my experience was opposite. I had to go down there for my recovered stolen truck. Had a vehicle impounded here. They made the experience as painless as possible- waived some fees, were very informative, and showed compassion. Nobody likes needing a tow (much less having your stuff impounded) but I appreciate them making it the easiest awful experience they could. read more

The worst company I ever had to deal with! I Called this company up to tow my RV 38' Cruise Master. I set the tow from Bay Point to San Leandro to have a Mechanic shop look at it. I was told that there will be at my Premises at 9:30am the following day. Was a little disappointed when the drive "Chuck" Came late 10:05am. Looked at my RV and said that he might have a problem with getting it out. He started taking pictures of my RV and I asked what's the problem. He said that he has to call the office and make sure it's okay. I explained to him that explained everything that the office needed. He explained that it was in a tight spot to get it out of and that it would take a lot of time. I explained that @ $175 and hour it shouldn't matter. I did say that I am having a problem with him not trying to even attempt to try? He then asked if I would sign a waiver in case he would damage it. My answer is No! He said he would be right back and Hopped in his truck and called the office and the he took off without saying a word! I called the office and spoke to the manager and told him what happen? He asked me if I called his employee Chuck a "Pussy" lol.. I really started Laughing. I asked do you really believe that? Maybe it was his Guilty thoughts that said that in his mind, Poor Guy looked like he needed more sleep. Instead of investigating the situation he said that it wasn't worth doing. I asked what about my loss of time? His response was sorry. Chuck looked like a wanna be Cowboy cover with grease and oil like he was a mechanic that worked all night long. I told him I had an appointment set up for this day and it was like he didn't care. I told him that it was bad Business, next time you send someone try to be a little more professional and send a cleaner person. I will never call on this company again! I am getting my RV towed by another company A&J Tow, they evaluated the situation and said no problem with getting it delivered. I told them what happen and they Laughed! In my opinion, the woman who is working in the office is going to live a very short unhappy life. The poor gal seems to never been in a good mood, nomatter how you approach her. Just imagine: You have a question about a car or paying to get your car back and immediately are greeted with nothing but attitute and a stale face. For someone who looks so well put together, you'd think she'd have better communication skills. She cuts people off when they are speaking, hangs up on you when she feels like she cant help anymore. Due to this she's likely to get herassed alot and gets alot of crap from people. Much stress to you lady. Stress = short life. Ask for Gus! Receptionist could brush up on phone etiquette, but Gus showed up quickly and was very pleasant to talk with on the way home. After a couple very frustrating phone calls with AAA and waiting over an hour for their driver, I called Bay Point Tow to see if they had any trucks available. I'm so glad I did, talking with Gus put me in a better mood. I know it sounds silly, but he's an angel in my book. I would definitely call them again and request Gus! read more

I had a horrible experience with this business. First of all, the receptionist is very rude. Right there it is making you think twice. Well, the first impression usually is the right one and I ignored the voice in the back of my head telling me: don't go there. Well, I did anyway. At some point during towing they punctured the gas tank of my motorcycle. Did they pay for it? No. Did they call back after you leave 10 messages? No. Rude, unprofessional and apparently not knowing what they are doing company. I hope my review will save somebody out there from a headache and extra cost. read more

I was on my way back from Sacramento with a brand new trailer when one of the wheels locked up in Benicia on the freeway. You can imagine my frustration at that point. So I got on the phone and started calling local tow companies to take my trailer back to Concord. After several calls with outrageous estimates and extended wait times, I called Bay Point tow. Dispatcher who answered the phone was very professional and when she put me on hold he came back every couple minutes to make sure everything was okay and then reassured me that she would be right back. She promised a driver would be there within 45 minutes. He was there just over 30 minutes. The driver safely loaded my trailer off the freeway. I was impressed by the professionalism of the dispatcher and the driver. The next time one of my 75 trucks or 100 trailers needs a tow, they'll be first on our list. read more

My credit card was stolen from my car. The credit card was than used (against my wishes obviously and without my consent) to get a car out of impound. I guess Bay Point Tow doesn't check IDs with credit card purchases. read more

My car got towed there after it was stolen and the Concord Police recovered it. The lady int he office was pleasant and helpful. My car was not worse from the towing. Their tow/storage rates seem relatively reasonable and it was easy to retrieve my car. I say "relatively" b/c I would much rather spend the chunk of money on a pair of shoes or taking a bunch of friends out to dinner, but my car got stolen, someone had to tow it, it was these guys and one must pay for the service. Way of the world. I would not put "retrieve car from tow lot" on my list of favorite activities, but the experience was not objectionable. read more

Worst day ever. Car brook down on busy 680. I called for a tow. The dispatcher was so sweet, started calming me down right away. The truck arrived in 10 min. Driver, (don't remember his name), was so profesional. He very quickly hooked up my car and safely delivered me and it to the shop. Will definitely call them if I ever again need a tow. read more
