The eggplant and ricotta cheese pizza is one of my favorites. I love the caprese and the buffalo supreme and the bianco as well! Very creative combinations that I never would have thought to order on my own. The display case is very colorful and mouth watering. 5 stars for the cleanliness and the hospitality of this location! read more

I ordered 1 slice, and waited for 10 min. They burned my pizza in the reheat oven. Then I waited 5 more minutes. They burned my pizza again. The staff is not paying attention and they didn't even say single word of apology. The white male staff with curve hair told me it is not burned. He handled things heavily. He didn't want to do his job, and I didn't have pizza to eat. For the sake of better world, fire this guy. read more

Pizza seemed expensive at first till you realize its a slice thats a little bigger than 2 normal slices. Staff was very helpful, polite and friendly (what a huge difference it makes). Without the staff interaction we had I would give it 3stars. Good pizza not earthshattering though. Good pizza good people Thanks read more

When La Hacienda Somerville closed back in July I never thought I was going to find a Pizza worthy. One of our friends and long time La HA customers told me to try Ernesto's so I went with one of the former owners of La Ha and we got a half Pepperoni half Cheese. It was AWESOME! My new local fav much better than Ragina's across the river in Wellington but Ernesto's is Pizza and Salad only no alcohol at this location, SORRY! So if your looking for a bigger menu variety that is a different story. The pizza was cooked to perfection but I do like pizza crispy and asked for it to be left in a little longer. The dough cheese and topping were 100% top notch. This will be my regular stop when shopping of if I am having people over and we want Pizza! I am so glad I stopped here the best Pizza in the area! read more

Near Legoland Great Pizza from a pizza snob! Quarter pie slices are a novel idea. Wonderful selection great prices and friendly staff.

Gluten free. Personal pizza size ok. More than I needed. Prize is $10.50, only 2 toppings offered on gluten free pizzas (because toppings kept separate from others) $1.50 per topping for anything but cheese. Others said they were able to pick up their slices, I couldn't. I prefer using my hands, but resorted to knife and fork. I've had better for the same price on the west coast, but california has gluten free pretty down. Didn't taste like cardboard. Good flavor. Not fluffy like regular wheat flour, but still ok taste. Toppings slide off even as I eat with fork and knife. read more

Great pizza. Got them fresh! I asked for the guys recommendation tho. Pizza prices are roughly $4-6 "a slice," but they give you two slices. I almost ordered two for myself but the guy told me it's huge. One order is more than enough for me tho. Usually not that busy like other shops. read more

THIS is one of the best pizza places in the area!!! nice big slices and a great selection read more

Really good pizza. The cheese is unfortunately boring, and the salads are so-so (albeit with great chicken as an extra topping), but every topped pizza, from eggplant to barbecue to meat lovers, has been delicious. Great place to stop in for an (extra-large) slice. read more

Pizza was incredible ! Plenty of outdoor seating . Friendly staff. We actually got several different varieties of pizza by the slice which were readily available. I think we found ourselves a new pizza place. read more

This is THE spot for pizza. You get these massive slices for a good price and the pizza is fantastic. The pizza is your classic Italian influenced "New York" style pizza. If your looking for a full stomach with some good pizza, hot or cold, Ernesto's is fantastic. read more

AVOID! Unless you like getting your pizza almost 2 hours after you ordered it. We ordered at 6:45 PM and finally got our order at 8:30 PM. This place is literally a 15 min drive away, just a random Wednesday night with no traffic. It didn't show up on the GrubHub app as on it's way until 8:10 PM. We called to complain but Ernesto's showed no interest in making this right. GrubHub offered some compensation even though it wasn't really their fault. Will never order from here again. read more

I would have given a higher mark, except for the lack of customer service. I went in, ordered a slice. 2 other gentlemen came after me, ordered 2 slices and were obvious friends of the pizza guy heating up the slices. I was waiting....and waiting, and the 2 guys after me received their order first and I asked what about my slice that was ordered before theirs and I was told, 'you slice requires extra heating time due to the toppings' I said BS, I saw you just putting in my slice now, not before theirs, I was given a stupid smirk. I'll take my money else where next time, or just wait for the new Pizza shop to open in June at Assembly Row. read more

Ernesto's has really good pizza, and the Somerville Assembly Row location is great because there is a free parking garage there unlike the North End location where parking could be difficult to find or cost you $15+ for an hour. The most notable thing about their pizza is the crust has a nice crispiness to it. It's not burned, it's not overcooked, and it's not hard: it's just perfectly cooked. You can eat the slices without folding over the pizza or worrying about it collapsing as you move it to your mouth. A "slice" here is actually a quarter of a extra large (18 inch diameter) pizza. The downside to this is it makes it more difficult to get variety. With normal size slices, you could easily order two different ones for a meal. At Ernesto's that means you're getting half an XL pizza since their slice is double what a typical pizza place's would be. I had a Hawaiian pizza which has the typical sauce & cheese plus chunks of pineapple and small cubes of Canadian ham. They achieve the right balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. You don't feel like they're being stingy, but at the same time the toppings aren't falling off your pizza and there's not so much sauce that it becomes soggy. read more

The best pizza in Boston! The exact right amount of sauce and lots of cheese, a molten delicious gooey layer.

Great for families - eat in or take out to the nearby park and playground. Kids love the simple junior cheese slice and adults can indulge in vegetables or buffalo blue cheese! read more

Pizza is good but only 3 stars as I ordered "A" slice and water and COST $8 because there one slice is actually two slices which wasn't that hungry for two but had to pay as they already heated up and rung up on the register. The owner or manager very awkward in front of me knew I did not want two slices then asked me if I wanted a box to box up 2nd slice. I felt like saying, I asked for one slice and wanted my money back. read more

Gotta get my weekly fix of barbecued chicken pizza...great slightly sweet with the best crust. I'm always lucky to get a table and chair even though it can get busy at lunch. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. The little shop is clean and bright. I'm addicted! read more

One of the pizzas EVER! Great selection of slices. Prices ate high for me, but I'm from small town in NM. looking around they seem comparable. Amine is nonwxestant, but it is a pizza joint. What do expect? Counter service was fast and helpful. read more

The pizza at Ernesto's is the best pizza in the Greater Boston area, either at Assembly Square or the North End, and yes, I have been to both. This is what pizza is supposed to be. You get a quarter of a pizza when you order a slice. Fast , convenient, delicious. read more

Maybe this just hit the spot in the perfect way but I had a delicious slice of pepperoni pizza here the other day. Everything about it was just satisfying in a classic comfort food kind of way read more

Well let me start by saying the food was amazing, i ordered 2 gluten free cheese pizzas, however it was a bit pricey considering those 2 pizzas that were the size of a celeste frozen pizza each costs me $31.00! But i had a craving for pizza so i decided to treat myself, however i ordered my food at 1:14pm and the delivery time kept getting pushed back, so when an hour and 15 minutes had passed i decided to give them a call, the woman who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude when i asked about my order, she blamed grubhub and said there wasnt anything she could do and it should be there soon as the driver "had left 2 mins ago" and hung up, another 30 minutes went by and it was still not there, so i gave another call to cancel the order because it was taking so long, she told me i could not because it was already out to delivery, i asked to speak to a manager and she said he was not in and id have to call back because there was nothing she could do! My pizza arrived a little cold but still yummy, however after that experience i would not go back! read more

Unfortunately one start is the list I cam give. The place is terrible. Cold pizza with low quality ingredients served badly by a totally incompetent staff. Not only was the pizza bad, but they got my order wrong. To make it better they got self righteous about it claiming they don't serve pizza the way I asked for it (with pepperoni),not that they bothered to tell me that when I placed the order. They just gave me something else. After some complaining one of the morons on staff offered to fix it and for it wrong again. And that was all before we got to find out that they use cheap sauce, low quality cheese and watered down fountain drinks. I will never go back and hope that you won't either. Places like this don't deserve to be in business. read more

Ernesto's is the best pizza in Boston! If we lived closer, we'd never get pizza anywhere else!

If you ever in the area shopping and just need a little snack..try this place! One slice of pizza is more than enough and prices are reasonable. I strongly recommend the veggie pizza. Also, plenty of outside seating. read more

It's official! I'm no longer eating at this location. It's a pity because I enjoyed the outside view of the mystic river while eating. This was my second visit to Ernesto's pizza. I had ordered 2 pepperoni slices which they said was only made 20 minutes ago. Either the pizza was made longer than 20 minutes ago or it was just not made well. 1 slice had an evenly and fair amount of pepperoni and the other it seemed as if they just ran out of them. I had asked if they could add more on the top where there wasn't any and he replied "I can spread them around". I guess he misunderstood by what I meant by adding more pepperoni. The slice the was lacking pepperonis had about 5 and the other slice had about 10. Customer service wasn't good. I will continue to eat the north ends Regina pizza which is consistent in making good pizza. I won't be surprised if this place closes down and becomes pez dispenser store. read more
