The best pizza I've ever had in MA. Not too greasy, not too doughy. We live down the street and just found out about prof pizza. I'm going to gain 30 lbs in the next few months.

Awesome pizza spot! Great service, and great space all around. The pizza is soooo good - you have to get the ricotta and the hot honey sauce! It's so good we went back two days in a row.

Crust was thin - a little floppy in the middle and blistered on the edges with a dusting of cornmeal on the bottom. Didn't have too much taste to it. Space was straight up no frills, cozy Eastie that hasn't changed for a long time. We ordered online at 3:30 on a Sunday and it was ready in 25 mins. It was pretty good pizza - I don't fully understand the hype, but made my Logan pickup more enjoyable.

Even though I was born and raised in the Boston area and have resided here for the entirety of my three decade long life, I've never had the original Santarpio's pizza until just now. I remember eating at their second location on Route 1 not long after it opened, but I thought it was just okay. Ever since then I've always thought to myself, "the original has gotta be better, right?" Well, my boyfriend and I finally made our way to the original Santarpio's on a Saturday a little after noon. The place isn't much to look at but was hopping for the weekend lunch rush with almost every table full, and we got put in what appeared to be one of the last available tables in the place. Our order was taken very quickly after sitting down. The menu is strictly pizza with around a dozen toppings to choose from and a handful of grilled meats. That's it. We ordered a pizza with garlic and hot peppers as well as a steak tip skewer. The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

Back at Yvonne's for the second time, and it won't be my last! This is such a beautiful, romantic…read morespeakeasy-style restaurant with an intimate, moody atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. I came with a group of four, which I highly recommend because the menu is designed for sharing. We ordered several dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. The crab beignets were probably my least favorite and something I'd skip next time, but the seared halloumi was delicious, the Lazy Lobster Dumplings were a MUST, and the Mediterranean Chicken was so flavorful and satisfying. And then there's the Prime Rib Chop, absolutely cannot come here without ordering it. It was easily top 5 best steak I've ever had! For dessert we tried the creme brûlée , the cheesecake and the carrot cake- honestly they were all unique and great. Yvonne's is definitely pricey, but I think it's worth it for the food, ambiance, and overall experience. Come with a group, share a bunch of plates, order the Prime Rib Chop and lobster dumplings, and enjoy the night. This is the kind of place that feels perfect for a special occasion or a romantic night out.

The hot and dirty martini was so unique, savory, and memorable... I would definitely order again…read more The dishes were perfect for sharing and we sampled an array of choices. I recommend ordering the larger plates first so gauge whether you need more small plates. Only taking off one star because the server recommended we order 3 of every dish we picked, which was honestly excessive. It's annoying when servers make recommendations that clearly result in over ordering.
