I absolutely love For Pizza! What an awesome neighborhood spot. Everyone who works there is so nice. Their pizza is pretty similar to bar pizza. Its not super doughy but rather thin, crispy, and very minimal crust. I love all their unique toppings! Tonight we had the Amore and the Nashville Hot Chicken. We loved both of them and will definitely be ordering again!

Top notch pizza establishment. This is a place that understands what pizza should look, taste and be like! It's perfection. The crust is spot on- not thick not thin and tastes great. And that cheese over edge crust! This is how pizza should be. That cheese crust is sooooo good. And let's talk about the fine pepperonis! These are how they should be done! The cups, curled, cooked to perfection. We also went here for the gluten free ratings for my wife and we were blown away! Her pizza was also equally delicious to the regular one and she has a severe allergy and had zero issues! They were on it!!! When ya walk In you feel like family! Simple and welcomed with a smile. We will be back again and again!! Ordered online- super easy!!

Everything... ordered three pizzas tonight for dinner a cheese, muuh mushroom pizza and a custom pizza with hamburger, caramelized onions, red peppers... everything was so good... was disappointed that they took Lucy's fab rangoon pizza off the menu... one of my favorites.... that was one i had wanted for tonight... should bring it back... so good.

I have driven past For Pizza a million times but we finally tried it after my boyfriend found it highly recommended on the gluten free app. My first experience was amazing! Outside of Detroit and Chicago, it was the best gluten free crust I've had (especially in Boston). The crust is much thicker than other gluten free crusts I've had and it has great taste and consistency. The dairy free cheese is also really really good. It also melts really well. It reminds me so much of real cheese, I always have to compare it with my boyfriend's pizza to make sure it is dairy free before i eat it. I only give it a 4 and not a 5 because of the kitchen inconsistency. The first pizza had me ready to come back the next week. I think i actually tried to order the following week, but the gluten free crust machine was broken. The second pizza below was from my follow up visit and it left me wanting so much more for the toppings. I also paid for extra cheese and it didn't taste like extra cheese was added or barely enough cheese for a standard order. The salads are also great, but again my first visit was much better than my second. My first visit was on the weekend and my second was a Monday, so if I try it again, I'll go on Saturday hoping I get the same cook who gave me toppings and a such a great pizza that they would get 5 stars from me every time. Overall, I highly recommend!

South shore style pizza in Medford Square that's pretty decent and has a good cause to donate to the community, but had some minor issues on expectations. Review is from 3/5/24, forgot to publish my draft. Came in around lunch because they said they served slices, but they had no slices available when I walked in. I was hungry so I got a whole pizza and they only had one size, and it was a bit pricier than I expected. Space was very clean, and service was friendly but selective. I ordered a half pepperoni half cheese, and based on the photos I saw online, I thought I was getting cuppy pepperoni. Turns out they ran out, which I learned when someone called in and the manager explained they were out of their normal pepperoni, but had a substitute, which is what I ended up with- not sure why this wasn't explained to me. The pizza itself was pretty good, I liked the sauce but found the dough a bit cardboardy and it was pretty greasy. Glad I tried it but probably won't return.

***Just noticed my review a while back was not 'recommended', but the photos I posted of my delicious Gluten Free pizza was. Hoping some additional insight can get this review shown to the masses. I had no influence from the restaurant, but was compelled to provide the review from an authentic and amazing pizza eating experience for my Celiac children and I. The rap influence was not only from the pizza, but the chili oil of the same name. #IYKYK We drove 30 minutes specifically to try this joint, and can't wait to come back!*** Yo, check it, fam, let me drop some truth for shizzle, 'bout the gluten-free za at For Pizza, it's no drizzle! Headed to Medford, stomach growlin' somethin' fierce, but gluten got me trippin', puttin' my health in reverse. Heard whispers on the street, a gluten-free delight, at For Pizza, they be servin' slices day and night. Stepped inside, the aroma, man, it hit me right, Hopin' this gluten-free pie would truly ignite. Crust lookin' golden, holdin' on with all its might. First bite, yo, the flavor, it was pure bliss, no lie, chewy but still crispy, reachin' for the sky! The sauce was so tangy, the cheese pull was insane, no cardboard texture, nothin' feelin' plain. Mushrooms and pepperonis in the mix, every single mouthful, did flavor tricks. For shizzle, my nizzle, this ain't no gluten-free fake, this pizza's legit, for goodness freakin' sake! My stomach's feelin' happy, no bloatin' or the dread, This gluten-free creation deserves all the cred. So if you in Medford, and gluten's got you stressed, hit up Aaron at For Pizza, put their GF to the test. They know what they're doin', they mastered the art, this gluten-free pizza will capture your heart! For shizzle!

But on a Saturday night, the place is mostly empty. Why? Because the people who run it don't understand atmosphere. The lighting is too bright, the decorations are tacky, and the music is cheesy. That is, it's not cool. It's not appealing. The owners need to visit places like Picco, Salty Pig, and Coppa in South End; Jinny's in Newton; or even nearby Semolina in Medford, and then make Real Gusto more like these 21st century places. If not, I'm concerned that Real Gusto will go out of business, and I don't want that to happen. That's why I hope the owners see this review and don't take offense to it and become defensive, but rather hear important feedback from a sincere customer, and modernize, bringing the restaurant toward its potential.

The food + atmosphere + service was awesome. The three of us shared fried calamari and "Artichokes…read morein Rome." The calamari was delish but we wished there was more sauce for them because that was equally delicious. The artichockes, well, I don't think sublime captures the experience. It appeared that Roman style artichokes were wrapped in prosciutto and broiled, where the crispiness of the ham played off the delicate interior of the artichokes like nothing I've had before. The salmon entrée was cooked perfectly (even though I wasn't asked) with just enough medium rare center to be considered a model of how to cook salamon. The sunny rear of the dining room was a perfect spot to enjoy the snow-covered view. I'll be back for dinner soon. Many thanks to Domenico for attending to us.

Ok let me start by saying Im reviewing this based on delivery and during a snow storm... (the…read morereason for the 3 stars) I envision eating IN HOUSE would improve my score CONSIDERABLY... We were tired of being stuck in the house and tired of crappy delivery & wanted "real" food - not pizza shop food and decided despite how shytty all the delivery places have been with their practices of allowing the drivers to make multiple stops (great for the drivers - but lessens quality of food when they are making so many stops and yours is cold when you receive), I digress... we wanted real food we decided to take a chance. Mom asked for Clams Casino and who the hell even has them yet will deliver them - and sure enough we found this place - Had never heard of it before this night. Now I cant go anywhere without ordering a little bit of everything for reference, then I take 2 bites am full and then leave in the fridge for a week & then throw away, I know - not a great practice, Its just how I get down... In addition to the Clams they actually had an artichoke on the menu, you dont find them in too many places so we stocked up on all the things. OMG to start all the food was still hot, not even just warm, but hot... Portions are the Biggest, but I mean we had more than enough food. The Clams were good, Great actually, the artichoke - can you see the size of it - INSANE!!! The stuffed mushrooms were tasty but like tiny, so I could take them or leave them. next time... But tasty! THe Pizza wasnt the hottest actually and I think if it was like a tad bit warmer it would have been a 9.4 (Go Prez), but even less than hot it was GOOOOOD!!!! The pasta was good, the chicken was so flavorful and Broccoli Rabe is like my jam, and the fact that I could swap out the pasta type & broccoli type literally had me quite excited... Skip the Garlic bread! Will DEFINITELY be adding this place to the regular rotation, it was so good and will also be stopping in to try in person!
