Great job cleaning my gutters everything was spotless. The price was very reasonable. They came the same day I called.

Thought I would give them a try. I have Pella windows with blinds integrated into the window, which means there are 4 panes of glass to clean per window when the insert is removed with the blinds. The outside was done fairly well, as was the inside. Many of the "insides" were either not cleaned or cleaned very poorly. Had them come back to redo several windows. 30 days after they have "cleaned" the windows, it looks like I am seeing fog outside of my windows when the sun shines on them when in reality it is poor cleaning and they never removed the film from the internal part of the windows. I also got charged an "upcharge" on a larger window above my front dor, which I have NEVER done with any other company. The two employees, who seemed to be college aged students on summer jobs, really did not seem to care, one did not even know how to remove the window inserts for cleaning. Once they were done, they were "hanging" around, I am presuming thinking that I was going to tip them. NOT! I am once and done with Ernest Windows. read more

Just had our windows cleaned. The scheduling process was super easy - basically they were willing to come at any time that worked for us which was great. I had taken a day off work to get window cleaning and duct cleaning done in my home. I had a bad experience with a window cleaning company that was scheduled to do the work so I called Ernest and explained that I only had today to get this task accomplished. He had a fellow called Robert there in a couple of hours, who quietly and efficiently got all the work done, cleaning not only the windows but the window frames also! Robert worked quickly and efficiently, and most importantly worked around the other workmen in the House. I was very pleased, especially after my earlier experience with another window cleaning company that day. read more

I do not usually write reviews but I had a great experience with this company and felt it important to share. The phone service is very peasant and responsive. The technician arrived on time, was polite, conscientious, (did a very good job disassembling and re-assembling our windows - mullions, screens, etc), and was efficient with the time spent. Had these guys out to clean windows this past week. They had to reschedule due to the weather once which was understandable, but they were very communicative. Ernest answered the phone when I called to schedule and kept me updated when they needed to reschedule. They day they showed up they were about 30 mins late which is no big deal to me and they guy did a great job cleaning all the windows inside and out. They took the time to pop off all the screens and when they were done all the blinds were back down and everything was cleaned up. I have used other companies before and they played games with the online coupons, pricing, etc., but this guy was pretty straightforward - very happy with the results! read more

Loved the service. Extremely friendly, easy process to schedule a service and very reasonable quote compared to other companies in the area. Showed up on time, did a great job and invoiced me after the job with the same amount as estimated. Once again extremely affordable charges for cleaning our gutters that were pretty badly clogged. This company does not keep appointments and does not call to inform you they're "running late". After an hour of waiting for someone to clean my windows, I called the company to confirm my appointment and they said they would call back. No call back, called again and the guy scheduled to do my windows is running two hours late. They agreed to send someone else out almost three hours after my initial appointment. They weren't overly concerned or apologetic about the poor service and communications. Based on this experience, I will not use or recommend this business. The company made good on their appointment and sent an extra crew out to expedite the job. Work by the window cleaners was very good. Issue could have been avoided by a simple courtesy call. read more

Worst service I have ever received by any company. If I was able to give no stars I would. They were unprofessional, Did a horrible job, didn't put things back and didn't clean after themselves to name a few. Snuck out of my basement without notice ( after they were paid n had returned to redo which didn't complete) left my sliding door open and lock broken. Too long of a story to provide details. The next day I cleaned the inside of the windows myself and have not found any outside spots or streaks. Due to the situation with coronavirus he respectfully kept the distance while communicating. Wow. What dishonesty! All I wanted were my gutters cleaned, and the owner (you) turned this into a huge deal. I never threatened to "let my dog out." The only reason your employee knew I had a dog is because I told him when he arrived that I need to put her inside from the backyard. Here are photos showing that the gutters are still clogged, as they were before, and retaining water with it spilling out over the sides despite your claim the job was done properly. You can't show a few convenient photos and try to pass off the entire job as done properly when it clearly wasn't. The reason I posted this review is that most people can't see their gutters, and getting them cleaned takes some blind trust that the company is actually doing the job properly. Luckily, I could see that it wasn't done properly before paying, and the owner was nothing but argumentative with me, even threatening to sue me for refusing to pay. Calling for a window cleaning estimate always makes me nervous because they want to know how many windows I have. I always wonder how they count my double hung so I stress out a bit trying to get an accurate count before calling for an estimate. My initial call to Ernest Windows was a lesson in how google maps is changing our lives. As soon as I gave my address, he started telling ME how many windows I had in the front of my house and then began telling me how many on the sides and the back. I laughed and breathed a sigh of relief. It was so easy. They were able to work us into the schedule the following week. We had never had a service clean the insides of the windows before (always just the outside). I'm so glad we had both done this time. Being on time for scheduled appointments is a good indication of how a company values its customers. Things happen and sometimes schedules slip. Proactively notifying customers when service will be delayed is also a good sign. This company did neither. The appointment time came and went and when we called, we were told the crew would be 1 1/2 hours late. We had adjusted our day to accommodate them and this unexpected delay was very problematic. Rep seemed very hurried and rushed through the job. He had trouble with his ladder on the second floor windows because he couldn't reach the very top. Many of the windows had numerous spots/smudges that had to be pointed out to him. He was moving around like a chicken without his head. There should have been 2 people instead of 1. We found Ernest Windows through Thumbtack. They quoted $140 to clean 34 windows in a home we were remodeling. Their service was to include washing the windows inside and out, as well as cleaning the tracks and screens. However, 12 of the windows were brand new, with no need to clean screens and tracks. When they prepared the invoice on site, they charged a base price of $170 PLUS an extra $40 for scraping. They received a check for $210. When I called the next day to question the overcharge, Ernest was rude and yelled at me throughout the conversation. Ernest needs a lesson in customer service. I do NOT recommend this company and will never use them again! read more
