I was trapped out of my apartment this morning and my property manager refused to help as it was "tenant negligence" i started to panic looking for a locksmith because my dog was in my apartment I called to a couple other places that were quoting insane prices (over $200) and saying it wasn't a guarantee that they could get the lock open.... I called Shaoul to repair/replace a broken patio door deadbolt. I called him early in the afternoon and he was done in a couple of hours, even though the job turned out to be more complicated than expected. Shaoul found an issue with the original hardware installation that was causing keys to catch and stick (and eventually break the lock). He fixed it so that it now locks and unlocks smoothly, like butter! The final cost was very reasonable, considering the work and troubleshooting he had to do. Highly, highly recommended. read more

What can I say about this service other than fantastic, fair, and honest. When I called Eric to come out and give me assistance, he was here in an hour. The lock I wanted opened was severely damaged and took a lot longer than expected to open it, BUT Eric did not try to up charge me for all of the extra time involved to get it opened. Shaoul knows what he's doing and takes the time to do it right. We live in a 1920s home with many of the original locks. Fixing them can be tricky but Shaoul identified the problems and we haven't had any issues with them since. Will use again. read more

Unbelievably great service. Eric is an old fashioned craftsman. He also charged much less than I was expecting. He arrived within an hour after being called around 9:00 a.m. He replaced the entire insides of an old lock in my 110 year old home. He gave me several new keys. He worked amazingly fast. He was polite, kind and humble. The lock had stuck and wouldn't turn for the old key. Not even WD-40 worked. I found that the new keys Eric gave me went in and unlocked the door like butter. The lock was never this good before. It turns out Eric makes his keys an old fashioned way, something about grinding the keys maybe. You cannot go wrong using Eric's service.
