I needed a dress altered for a wedding I was attending and my friend told me about this place. The dress was just big from the top so I needed the shoulder's altered, which cost me $20. I didn't visit any other places about the dress so wasn't sure if the price is reasonable, but it seemed fine to me. I was able to try the dress on when I first went there to show them what needed to be fixed and they told me it would be ready in 5 days. Unfortunately, when I went to try it on again it still needed to be altered a bit more but they were able to get that completed in a couple of days which I thought was great. This is a Star Wars Stormtrooper costume purchased from Amazon. It's a man's size and it was only available in one size. I knew when I ordered it I would have to get it tailored. The length was too long and it was too baggy. I wasn't thinking ahead to get a before and after picture for reference but trust me when I say it looked terrible. I went to Erick's for the first time to get my bridal dress tailored. Just a little back story, I'm Pakistani and our wedding dresses are super glam with work and beading from the top to the bottom. My dress had a long train that I needed pinned up to be able to dance in and Wilson set forth a game plan and delivered!! Their work is absolutely stunning. After purchasing my jeans from Nordstrom Rack I needed to get them altered. My friend said there was a place he's been going to that can get it done in about 15 minutes for only 7 bucks. He said he had gotten his jeans altered here before and it was legit. Since he was going to be getting his jeans done this time too I was sold. The area is a bit shady but the owner was genuine. He will chalk you up instantly and you can come back after grabbing a quick bite to eat and it will be done. They are open M-S from 10 am - 9 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm until 6 pm. 7 dollars for jean alterations, not just same day service, same hour service. I'll make the drive out here for craftsmanship. read more

Went to pick up pants and had a receipt with the total amount that was quoted to me. When I get there, the amount the young lady working gave me was $20 more than original. It was explained to me that the woman who created the ticket did not properly put in all of the alteration prices. They didn't make it right for me and I just paid it because they were very pushy for me to "just pay it" and who has the time to go back and forth. As bad as this sounds, I was nervous about sending my husband's sherwani to non south Asian tailors but they surpassed my expectations. They're good at what they do simple as that. Your clothing will come out just as you want and how it's measured/ pinned. And on top of that the prices seem very reasonable. My cousins and friends recommended Erick's tailors to me but I was really frustrated with the staff there. I dropped my WEDDING outfit there two and a half months months ago to get it tailored and I drove there 4 different times to get "remeasured" because my "pins fell out " after They measured me. The staff had a lot of miscommunication between eachother which led to me driving there and being told "oh I don't know why the other lady told you to come today". Staff just playing blame game. I told the staff that I was driving close to 1 hour (2 hours roundtrip) to get this outfit done. This has been the thing that has stressed me out the most during my wedding planning and that's truly disappointing . HOWEVER, the tailor did a great job with the outfit e. They knew they messed up with my outfit and they never once apologized ...and that Speaks volumes I may try it out once more in the future . And hoping this is not their usual. This place is great. Huge selection of suits, ties and vests, all at a great price. Erick was super friendly and knowledgeable, and he hemmed my pants in less than 10 minutes. Not to mention my girlfriend went there and got her dress custom altered and it was ready in 3 days time (she put a corset in the back of a zip up dress). DO NOT GO HERE. PLEASE DONT IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I was referred to this place by Dolly's Boutique. The outfits I bought were expensive but I needed minor tailoring on them. They measured and estimated the price of my outfit on MONDAY and told me to pick it up on THURSDAY because I have a flight to catch the next day (tomorrow). I had just gone to pick up my outfits which were promised to be done since I dropped it off 3 DAYS AGO and the guy at the front was really rude and said the person who is supposed to work on the clothes had a "family emergency and left 5 mins ago." That was obviously a lie. I got there late to pick it up so I asked him why they didn't call me about it not being finished on time since I gave my NAME AND NUMBER ON MONDAY WHEN I HAD DROPPED IT OFF. He told ME that I should have called to see if it was ready. AND THEN HE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD CHECK OUT THE PLACE NEXT DOOR because apparently the man HADNT EVEN STARTED WORKING ON MY OUTFIT. I grabbed my things and left. Worst service, do not trust these people they will not give you an honest answer and they're extremely rude. Now I have to find someplace else who will tailor my outfits before my flight, which by the way, is TOMORROW. But today when I questioned him on the charges (which were way more than he normally charges) he asked me to go somewhere else instead in explaining. And had a nasty attitude and walked away while I was talking to him. I have zero tolerance for this kind of an attitude especially people in service industry.
