    Delicious pastry for 1,5€

Eric Kayser may be a branded shop and not locally owned but they haven't lost their soul like most businesses. You'll find quality bread and croissants at a reasonable price with a smile. -Reasonable pricing -Open early -Friendly staff -Long lines at times! -Fast service Great croissants and breakfast bread for less than 2€ each. They always have a line out of the door for baguettes during the evening. I stopped by here every morning for a week and was not disappointed in any of the items I purchased. They speak fantastic English and were always really friendly. The quality here matches and beats most independent bakeries in the area except a little place by Nelson Mandela park. Give Eric Kayser a try!

Hello lover! I wish I had 10 more of you :)

Two words...Chocolat Noisette!! OMG, it was truly heaven in a box. It had the most amazing textures and wasn't too sweet either. I can't stop thinking about it! I also tried the ham & cheese facelle and the almond croissant. Although they were good, they did not blow me away like that tarte. Wowsers!

Not particularly impressed. I ordered the viennese breakfast set, which included a basic pastry, latte, and oj. This set was €8, meaning almost $10. I thought it was not worth the cost. Maybe this is the average price of food in Paris, but I don't usually pay $10 for a mere piece of bread and coffee. This Eric Kayser is located near the Louvre so I sat at their outside seating a bit before the Louvre opened. Unfortunately, I was a victim of a bird poop attack while I was relaxing outside. -- taste / 3 aesthetics / 4 vibe / 3 service / 3 price for quality / 2 OVERALL / 3

This was tricky. It was good but I was expecting so much more. I would say get eclairs. They were some of the best

Delicious bread. Especially liked the pistachio apricot bread, which is slightly but not overly sweet. Baguette is good too.

Best baguette in Paris (not definitive mind you, very subjective) not to mention the croissants and the sandwiches.

We tried the jambon sandwich and chicken baguette, paired with a golden ale beer and coffee. Both sandwiches were outstanding--freshly made with incredible bread, generous fillings, and a perfect balance of textures. The strong cheese they offer on the side is a must; it pairs beautifully with the sandwiches, and the staff even lets you try it before deciding, which is a great touch. We did go around 2pm and unfortunately the pastrami was already sold out, which speaks to how popular it is. We also waited about 30-40 minutes in line, but it moved steadily and didn't feel too painful. We were lucky to find a spot to dine in, though most people grab their food to go. Service was friendly and quick despite the constant rush. The atmosphere is more grab-and-go than sit-down, with very limited indoor seating. Most people take their sandwiches to enjoy at a nearby park, which actually adds to the experience. Be prepared for a queue, but it moves faster than expected--and the payoff is absolutely worth it for what might be the best sandwich in the city.

These sandwiches are curated, edible pieces of art made with love by the one and only Alain. It's easy to see why they're so popular. People love the sandwiches so much that his stall inside Marche' Des Efants Rouges can see lines lasting upwards of an hour or more. And people stay in the line. We lucked out and only had to wait about twenty minutes. I tell you, I'd wait all day if need be. I often dream of the sandwiches we had and can't wait to have them again. A picture is worth a thousand words and therefore, my photos can tell you everything you need to know about how good the sandwiches were. It makes me smile when I look at the pic of us with Alain. What a wonderful human being producing wonderful food for the people.

Charcuterie did come with good presentation like wood board or anything but it was a good portion. I didn't read the menu closely and ordered charcuterie as soon as saw it. I wanted to have some cheese with it. I should have ordered assiette royale which comes with both meat and cheese. I also ordered Andrea which comes with burrata. It was great with salad and lemon shavings but anchovies were pretty salty. I suggest to eat it with some kind of bread. Between that two orders, I was stuffed and couldn't even finish it. Honestly it was meant for 3 to 4 people. One of the employees speak English and she was very nice. Overall experience was great and good spot to hang out.

We sat outside at one of their small table on the street. It reminded me of eating street foods in Asia; except this is in Paris. Service was good but could be better if they can explain us what to order on their menu. I liked the Burrata which was creamy with tangy salad and anchovies. It was a great appetizer for us. Charcuterie came with a paper box in to-go or take-out style. It had variety of cured meat slices. Meats had good flavors, textures, tastes from salty to spicy and tangy from lemon slices. It was good to pair with Burrata. Recommend this place in Paris!
