I got a couple of pastries here - an almond raspberry frangipane type pastry and a chocolate pistachio escargot. Both were delicious and I wish I had the stomach for more! The texture for both was delicate and not stodgy. The bakery is quite a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Prices are fair as well (3 euros for the almond raspberry and 1.90 for the chocolate pistachio escargot.)

Probably the best backers I've ever been to. They have a very large variety of products and the employees are friendly.

Beautiful display. Tried the quiche, brioche, almond croissant and all were excellent. Regret not buying a baguette. Next visit to Paris!

Rating is based on purchase of pistachio/raspberry croissant, almond/raspberry croissant, regular butter croissant, custard twist & brioche... all tasted very good!! The other low ratings appear to be for more bread & other pastries. We really enjoyed what we purchased :)

Rose meringue was super delicious. Can't wait to go back to try the many other selections.

Regular croissant was fine but pain au chocolat tasted of soap. Honestly, it ruined pain au chocolat for me for a good while after that...

Another great boulangerie. This place is slightly larger than the one down the street with a…read moreslightly wider selection. It gets a cheaper rating but I thought the prices were very comparable to the other boulangeries in the neighborhood.Again they had great croissants (I tried them at every boulangerie we visited) and their large macaron "sandwiches" were also delicious (although not my MOST favorite of the ones we tried in Paris). This place was also just a few steps from our apartment so we visited it a lot as well. None of the women that served us during the week spoke English but again, you don't need much in a boulangerie. The service was always friendly and efficient. Often this place was busy but service was quick. No outdoor seating, and they were open until 8pm which was awesome. Later in the day you'll find that pastries and bread are not as fresh but even though we got macaron "sandwiches" at 7pm and they seemed a little damp from the fresh fruit in them, the taste was delicious. The outer shells of the macarons were slightly tough but the overall texture wasn't bad. the berries (we tried frambriose and fraise, or raspberry and strawberry) were incredibly fresh and tasty. I'm sure if we had purchased them earlier in the day they would have been even better. We also had the coffee eclairs and they were amazing!!! I don't care that much for eclairs as I do no like the type of bread used for them, but these were good enough that I'd get them again. The filling was rich and the coffee taste was outstanding.
